Pretty Little Rant

1. I cannot stand that the writers/directors are calling the fans transphobic who reacted poorly to the finale. I’m an openly gay male who practices equality and fights for LBGT rights daily!

2. The plot holes are absolutely ridiculous. Pretty Little Liars is based on the fans dissecting the clues and storyline to figure out who ‘A’ is. That’s why the show has been able to go on as long as it has. Without the support from social media this show would have probably ended at season 2 or 3.

3. I understand minor plot holes (kinda but not really)  with a show that has been on for 6 seasons BUT the plot holes deal with the main plot of the entire show. We’ve been waiting 5 years to find out who killed Bethany and who killed Marion. The two biggest plot holes revolve around Marion and Bethany. At least make the story line that you’ve been advertising all season as “summer of answers” make sense.

4. Marlene trying to make sense of her show through social media and saying the flashbacks are 'interpretive’ memory. BULLSHIT. If this was true it would have been consistent through the entire show. Even then, you cannot tell me you really wrote that scene for Ali and Toby to be 3 years old.

5. I think ABC Family and Marlene made the decision to make Charles a transgender character because it is such a hot topic in the media right now. AKA Caitlin Jenner ect. Don’t get me wrong, I 100% support Caitlin and all of the transgender community but lets face it, “A” was not originally meant to be a transgender character. IF this was the plan, why would Charlotte want to identify as Charles in the dollhouse and wear a tuxedo?

6. Marlene said there’s more to the story in 6B and 7AB, all this means is she’s going to botch the story even more to make sense of all her fuck ups.

7. Cece being 'A’ wasn’t the problem. The whole reveal just wasn’t thought out.

8. DONT even get me started about Shower Harvey. SO many things are wrong with her being RedCoat/Black Widow. But mainly, the main antagonist of the show ended up being a character introduced in season 6 and had 9 episodes. Tell me how this was planned since season 3?

The show has been ruined for me 100% It’s no fun to theorize, search for clues, and spend time watching the show if they’re just going to act like babies and completely ruin the whole premise and originality of the show.

PLL Summer Finale 25 Biggest Plot Holes

CeCe was Prom Queen for a high school she never attended. Makes sense?

Aria met CeCe’s college roommate, who told her that CeCe hated Ali because Ali got her kicked out of UPenn. She never lived on campus, so how did she have roommates?

Cece said that Wilden changed the report for Marion’s death to protect her, but if we’re to trust the finale’s version of her death, that can’t be possible. Wilden went to high school with Melissa, which would mean that Wilden was much too young at the time to be a cop.

Speaking of Marion’s death: Toby’s mom died when the Liars were in 8th grade, per “The First Secret.” How could CeCe still have been a child when Bethany pushed Marion off the roof?

Why were patients at a mental institution allowed on an unsecured roof completely unsupervised?

Radley staff thought Charlotte guilty of killing Marion. She was diagnosed with intermittent explosive disorder. Why would Radley allow someone they deemed a public threat permission to leave the facility unattended?

Wren gave CeCe Drake a visitor’s pass for Radley. If she was a patient there, why would she need a pass to get in?

Mona said that in exchange for the game, Big A (CeCe) offered her a way in and out of Radley. CeCe said Mona knew how to get in and out of Radley, so she started playing the game with her so she’d be able to as well. Which is it?

In a flashback, Mrs. D recieved a call from Radley telling her that Ali was there, and when she went to go pick her up, it was CeCe pretending to be Ali. Mrs. D was pissed. Why would Radley have called Mrs. D to tell her that her daughter who WAS A PATIENT at Radley.. was at Radley?

The morning after “That Night,” CeCe was taken back to Radley. Sara Harvey disappeared the next day. She couldn’t have kidnapped her and held her hostage. So how did they meet? Where was Sara Harvey and what was she doing during the year that CeCe was locked up in Radley all alone and unable to escape?

How did Mona only just realize she killed Bethany and not Ali, when she herself picked Ali up that night and helped her leave Rosewood?

How were both Bethany and Alison dressed head to toe in the same exact clothes, even jewelry, completely coincidentally?

Why did Jason see CeCe in Ali’s shirt that night? “Maybe it was Bethany” doesn’t make sense, because he saw “CeCe” with Melissa. Why would Bethany have been talking to Melissa?

The two dresses in Ali’s flashback were the same size. Why would they be if one was meant for Cece and one for Ali, and they’re supposed to be 8 years apart?

How did CeCe, while a patient at Radley, open a clothing store?

How did “A” get vials of blood into Spencer’s bag in England when, at the same time back in the States, “A” was creeping on Cyrus in the hospital? Was one of these people Sara Harvey? Just, wtf.

Where did Cece get her money? Yes, she invested in the stock market, but where did her initial funds to invest come from? How did she learn how to play stocks in Radley? She’s a full-blooded DiLaurentis, no Hastings involved, so why is she such an unbelievable genius?

Continuing that thought.. How did CeCe have such extensive medical knowledge and access to a documented cadaver from a medical school? How did she become an expert at computers and programming? All while living in Radley?

“Charles” was taller than Spencer in The Dollhouse. CeCe is much shorter. Platform boots?

If A is Charlotte, and Charlotte is Cece, why would she act like a man in the dollhouse after fighting her whole life to transition and be accepted as her true gender (female)?

Why was CeCe Drake on the A’s payroll if she WAS A?

A once saw “CeCe Drake” on a hotel guest list and dialed 911. Why would CeCe call the police on herself?

If all CeCe wanted was to be close to her little sister, didn’t she achieve that a long time ago? Why did she need to obtain Ali “dolls?” Alison would have hung out with her on her own accord - they were best friends.

CeCe supposedly loves Ali and Jessica. So why send Ali the bragging, “I buried your mother like I watched her bury you?” text. Why torture Ali ever at all? Just because it was fun?

Why did Sara Harvey, who never met any of the PLLs and wasn’t even from the same town, randomly agree to a criminal life devoted to their demise? To this end.. Why did CeCe?

Let Me Break It Down In Layman’s Terms.

If the writers really have been working on this story line for the past 3 years like they claim, then how did they miss an embarrassing amount of plot holes that the fandom seemed to pick up on as soon as the finale aired? 

(ugh I’m getting so sick of saying those words, plot holes).

The worst part about it is that none of the facts add up (and by the way, if you hate math, then you might hate this post lol. There are a lot of numbers and it’s sorta long, sorry not sorry).

There are many things that factor into the complicated & complex math equation that is Rosewood, Pennsylvania.

For instance, in episode 2x13, which is based in 2008, Toby mentions that it has been one year and one week since his mother’s death.

Wouldn’t that make it 2007 when Marion died?

Well, if we are going by the laws of reality here, then this is a stone cold fact: 

2008 - 1 year = 2007.

So here we have it, Fact #1: Marion Cavanaugh died in 2007.

The web of inaccuracies continues to get more and more tangled as we go on, so prepare yourself.

Ali would have been 13 years old in 2007 when Marion died. I get this age based on the fact that we know she disappeared 2 years later (on Labor Day 2009), at age 15. 

As we all (hopefully) know:  

15 years old - 2 years = 13 years old       

(I told you this was in layman’s terms).

Fact #2: Alison was 13 years old in 2007 when Marion died & 15 years old when she skipped town in 2009.

Then according to Aria in episode 5x25, all of the songs on the playlist for A’s dollhouse prom are from 7 years ago. 

Spencer mentions it was the same prom theme from her sister’s Senior year & Emily says that Charles is recreating it. 

Since the Liars are currently Seniors in high school when they make this statement, it means Melissa, and Jason for that matter since they graduated together, are both 7 years older than Alison & the Liars. 

Liars Senior Year - 7 years = Melissa & Jason’s Senior Year

So if Jason is 7 years older, and we take into account that we also learned this season that Charlotte is 15 months older than Jason, then this makes CeCe 8 years older than Ali.

Ugh I’m getting dizzy. I hate math.

Fact #3: Charlotte is 8 years older than Alison & the Liars.

So we also know from earlier in the season that Jessica faked Charles’ death at age 16. Hanna & Spencer discovered the organ donation papers that Jessica forged at Radley & this is when they found out the age Charles “died”. 

CeCe tells Alison that she went through the transition when Jessica faked Charlie’s death.

Supposedly Charles was 12 years old when Bethany murdered Marion, so the doctors “doped him up” for the next couple years (although “a couple” usually means 2, but in this instance it seems to mean 4).

Fact #4: Charles transitioned into Charlotte at age 16. 

In episode 6x10, it has been 2 ½ years since that infamous night that Ali went missing (she disappeared beginning of Sophomore year 2009, and it is currently the end of Senior year). This means it is only 2012 in Rosewood. 

Soph Year Sept 2009 + 2 ½ years = Senior Year May 2012

If the Liars are 18 years old (which most Seniors are by the time they graduate high school), then CeCe is 8 years older, making her age 26 when she is finally revealed as A in the current year of 2012. 

This makes her year of birth 1986.

2012 - 26 years old = 1986

Which means she would have been 12 years old (which is the age she claims she was when Marion died) in 1998 not 2007.

1986 + 12 years old = 1998

Fact #5: Charles was not 12 years old in 2007.

So how could Charles be 12 (and still a boy) in 2007 when Bethany pushed Marion from Radley’s roof?

He couldn’t.

Actually, Charles had already transitioned into Charlotte at that point.

This doesn’t only blow a hole in the timeline, but it blows a hole in Bethany’s entire motive for why she killed Marion. It was because Charles didn’t want anyone to see him in a dress, right? 

But why murder someone in cold blood if you are in fear that she is going to gossip about Charles’ gender identity, if Charles was already Charlotte at that point? There would have been nothing to keep a secret about because Marion would have walked out on that roof and seen exactly what we see when we look at CeCe Drake: a beautiful blonde-haired, blue-eyed young lady. So all of this is completely contradicting. 

Referring back to Fact #2 & Fact #3, Ali was 13 in 2007 & Charlotte is 8 years older than Ali. This means that CeCe should have been 20-21 years old, as well as a fully grown woman that went by the name Charlotte, when Marion was pushed off that roof.

Alison 13 yrs old in 2007 + CeCe 8 yrs older = CeCe 21 yrs old in 2007

Fact #6: Charlotte was 21 in 2007 & fully transitioned when Marion died.

But instead, we saw this:
