Why tf is school so complicated?? 😭😭

I'm meant to make an html site simulation of online shopping site, html site for our school newspaper.. and something on statistics I totally forgot - OH GOD, GOTTA ASK THE TEACHER WHAT THAT HOMEWORK WAS!!

Long story short, for anybody that is waiting for me to do something for them.. 😭 well:

I have to do two arts, one of which has been waiting for half a year.. gotta do three short animations.. gotta start a comics I wanted to do for a while (and finish the designs for it), gotta finish three realistic portraits.. gotta finish 5+ character designs..

My untreated ADHD ain't helping. 😃👌

I'm very disappointed in the current generation and state of internet.

Yesterday I stumbled upon a short on YouTube created by a young slavic YouTuber.

She tried to recreate the short animation under the name of "oo ee oo" by channel (channelcaststation) , inspired by HatsuneMiku, featuring portion of the vocaloid song "Anamanaguchi" , that went viral a while ago on YouTube Shorts, in her style, just like many other animation channels did and showed her progress.

She left the original video in the background while her drawings were playing along the moves, trying to sync with the original video.

Now.. what is my problem with this video?

I do not have issues with the video in particular.. it was cute, it was innocent, it was someone's efforts to learn animation and make something for other's entertainment.

What I DO have a problem with is the reactions this video got in return upon reaching publicity.

People were insulting and attacking the video with the reasoning for their actions being that simply;

She, as a kid and non English speaker, DIDN'T credit the original artist after featuring their video in the background of her own animation.

She "traced" the original animation - which btw is absolutely not the case.

"The art was ugly".. 🧍🏻‍♂️

What.. the.. shell...

People, presumably many ranging from the age of 11 to 18+.. bullied a kid, a kid that doesn't even speak English, because she didn't credit an artist after trying to recreate a popular animation short in her style?

Do you guys even realize that she doesn't know what crediting is?

Do you realize that it's a literal KID we are speaking of???

Have people forgotten how kids work?? Because I can damn well tell you a non English speaking kid is highly unlikely to be aware of the concept of crediting artists online.

This kid saw the many videos of other artists recreating this innocent musical animation and the kid wanted to try and do the same, it meant no harm to the creator and it meant no harm to the fans of the particular person and fandom.

She just wanted to do something and showcase her skills like every other kid would do if given the chance!

But what did she get in return?

Spam comments of people, probably older than herself, hating on her for something she couldn't have knew she's supposed to do, a small mistake if you will.. and also calling her art UGLY while she's just a KID.

Even going as far as REPORTING her.

Kids aren't supposed to draw masterpieces, they're still learning!

LET. THE. KID. LEARN.

Also the like begging is wild.. it's pathetic how they're trying to get likes off of bullying a literal kid..
