  [ & ; * - nick robinson ] isn’t it weird how close theodore fitzgerald resembles nick robinson ? damn, i heard they are twenty-two years old and a graduate student studying prosthetics and robotics. rumor has it theo is homosexual. i heard they are known as the encyclopedia around campus and their party anthem is la vie en rose by edith piaf.

BIOGRAPHY

(tw car accident + amputation)

Theo grew up in what would constitute the perfect American family -- loving parents with sisters both younger and older than he. Though they weren’t particularly rich, and most of them had to live paycheck to paycheck, there were barely any qualms within the fitzgerald dynamic.

Growing up, he definitely was the odd one out, preferring to read books on thermodynamics or quantum physics then Fahrenheit 451 or 1984. He didn’t really understand why he often wasn’t part of what would constitute the “popular group” but it may have had to do with the physics textbooks and DND dice he always pulled out during lunchtime in middle school.

When he was in high school, he was taking his little sister home from her dance recital when they got into a crash with a drunk driver. Theo wasn’t injured as badly as his little sister who had to lose a leg due to the nerve damage the accident caused.

His sister was devastated showed signs of being an extremely gifted dancer, her dream to become one of the Rockettes on Broadway. Nonetheless, the family believed that her dream was still possible and sought to find ways to help her.

Prosthetic legs weren’t cheap either, especially the ones that would give her that ability to dance again. Prosthetic legs also tend to add up over time, since they are recommended to be changed every 3-5 years. To support his sister, Theo decided to get into therapy and prosthesis and orthotics. 

He worked hard to graduate high school and college early, and received the invite to Yale’s graduate school at the age of 20 due to his research papers he published about prosthesis. He received many grants and offers to Ivy League schools all across America, even large corporate labs, but his preference to help small -- as well as the professor of the GRAB lab (who he admires greatly) pushed him to attend Yale. 

He currently is the lab manager for the GRAB lab and has been creating prototypes for his sister, as well as the bigger amputee community.

PERSONALITY

okay so think peter parker here?? i mean he’s a cinnamon roll who has a bad habit of talking too much and going off on tangent especially when he’s talking to a boy he likes

since he was so set on graduating early and conducting research, he’s never really gotten used to his sexuality nor has he even learned how to flirt with people? his definition of flirting is like aggressively finger pointing and failing to wink and complimenting them on their good genes

he also really never got into the party scene -- unless it’s like DND party stuff.. 

but yes he is a hopeless romantic who always has glasses on and carries around huge textbooks so

BAD INFLUENCE: omg give me someone that ruins my pure baby!! like makes him go out to parties, convinces him to get out of his comfort zone?? someone that teaches him how to use grindr/tinder or... something. they have this really weird friendship that no one expected, but they get along really well??

THE HELPER: i would love someone that helps him come to terms with his sexuality!!! maybe someone that helps him meet guys?? or maybe they are a guy and theo might have a small crush on them?? OR just someone that’s always there for theo and theo is always there for them?? i love me some platonic relationships

THE PEN-PAL: ok i may have stolen this from love simon but maybe give me someone who they met online and have been conversing with FOR YEARS and now they realized they’re both at yale??? do they like each other?? will they ever meet?? WHO KNOWS TUNE IN NEXT TIME

THE TUTOR: maybe theo is tutoring your muse!!!!!! it would also be cute if maybe a star player in sports had to get a tutor due to low grades and so theo is tutoring them!!!

THE NERD HERD: i would love to have someone who plays DND or video games with theo?? like YA
