I think dr. vasi was problematic and he shouldn't have been forgiven that easily by Chitti. i also think it's a little bit problematic how Chitti perceives him as basically God. Like what? Yeah sure okay I mean that's fine but I still think it wasn't cool that he literally destroyed him all because he had a little crush on his college-aged gf. Like hello, insecure much? It's literally your son. He is mentally like 15 years old. I don't think it was very cool of him to do that :/ dr. vasi is a morally grey character methinks

This absolutely blew my mind as a child and I thought way too hard about the implications of this. It made no sense to me because during the year that Ra-One is set in, Chitti should've been dismantled and exposed at the museum. The incoherence endlessly frustrated my child brain. Now I am like "hoohoo silly robot cameo"

you know I think Chitti would say that art can be made by robots too, but he'd agree that only beings with a conscience can make true art. He'd acknowledge the fact that he's a very exceptional case, but he'd still be firm about the fact that he CAN make real art.

I like to think he'd evolve from the simple image-printing we see him do before he gains his sentience.

who are YOU to judge AI art? you do know artificial intelligence has the capability to be sentient and possess a soul, right?

why is rajini obsessed with looking half his age all the time

honestly i don't like the fact that Rajinikanth keeps playing as a much, much younger version of himself. At the time Enthiran came out, he was fully SIXTY years old. Aishwarya (love interest) was 37 so I guess the age difference really isn't that bad. Like I think that past a certain age, age becomes less important when it comes to romance. but tha's besides the point, I just really wished that Rajini didn't put that much makeup on his face to look 30. Let the poor man be a grandpa in peace, alright. (yes I see rajinikanth as my grandpa) (my grandpa actually did meet him once haha)

Il s’agit de la suite du film tamoul Enthiran (Robot). Ca n’est clairement pas à la hauteur du premier mais la surenchère dans les effets visuels et les combats est telle que c’en reste divertissant. Que dire de l’histoire qui mêle allègrement ornithologie et smartphones…

Smartphones fly away and gather to form a shape of an eagle, in order to attack the population. Chitty is reactivated to restore peace. This is the tamil sequel of Enthiran (Robot). It is clearly not as good as the first episode but the action scenes are so wtf that the movie remains entertaining.

Dropped film concept posters || Robot Dot. Robot, was a sci-fi fantasy film, announced in 1998, and was to feature Kamal Hassan and Preity Zinta. The plot was set in the 30th century and had Kamal Hassan playing a scientist and robot. Due to creative differences the film was dropped, and shelved for more than 10 years. In 2008, Shankar rewrote the entire script and went on to completing the film as Enthiran with Rajinikanth and Aishwariya Rai.

"I'm one of the VFX artist[s] credited for the " interior rolling ball scene" in THE ROBOT. At start we did got a very detail head scan model of the antagonist but [it] ended up never [getting] used, as the rendering was deemed too heavy for the studio. Only [a] low poly version was used whenever he did any ridiculous moves. The most challenging part of the scene is the intense flashing light. It ruins camera tracking. we [had] to painstakingly fix the track & match every single flashlight for the CG stunts by hand.

P.s. the movie's VFX was actually outsourced to dozens of small studio[s] in hong kong, so as you can see the quality var[ies] A LOT between shots."

I never liked this music video tbh because the song talks about Kilimanjaro and has african vocals, but the video's set in Macchu Picchu of all places. because of this movie i always thought kilimanjaro was in south america.
