Everyone who keeps bringing back the whole “there was only one bed,” trope now that Buck and Eddie are under the same roof seem to be forgetting how Buddie actually works.

Those two would be sharing a room without thinking much about it until someone explicitly asks them about it

When Eddie left for Texas, neither him nor Bobby knew that they would never see each other again

they didn’t realize that this was their last goodbye
