Entre tinieblas (1983) (known as Dark Habits in English.) & Julieta Serrano (Madre Superiora Julia) blog. Posts with related actresses can be found here also sometimes. Posts about the film = homosexuality and also various notes, thoughts, similarities with whatever. The blog is by lesbian & atheist woman. Since 29.8.2022 Time zone: Madrid\Catalunya, of course. Header picture is by me from the film, but edited for better visibility. Original blog was created from unused one that was hidden from external searches, and it wasn't in search results (on Google) even after nearly two weeks of existence. Thus, a completely new Tumblr (but date of creation is old anyway when other version of this blog had been created.)

"This is called hallucinations." (Esto se llama jalucinaciónes.") — Sor Rata de Callejon about Sor Estiércol (Ente tinieblas, 1983 | dir. Pedro Almodóvar (known in English as Dark Habits))
(Se me apareció Jesús mientras lo hacía chorreando sirope. Me ofreció sus llagas para se que las chupara como si fuera una golondrina. (Jesus appeared to me while I was making it, dripping syrup(?). He offered me his wounds to suck on like a swallow.)
Sor Estiércol was under effect of drugs and thought that she saw Jesus when she was baking a cake.)

The voice
Yesterday, Mum and I heard a woman having a phone conversation. She sounded like Julieta Serrano minus [shiado] of Catalunya (Cataluña or Catalonia) (s in the end of words sounds like [sh].)
Mum has heard a little from Entre tinieblas (titled as Dark Habits in English) now (50 years old Julieta) and agreed.

Koi no Ophelia (Ophelia's Love)The Peanuts (Za pinattsu, ザ・ピーナッツ)
Koi No Ophelia & Mi querida señorita (My Dearest Senorita)
Note: In Japanese, the title is literally, Koi no Oferia (as Japanese has no L sound.)
If not pay attention to lyrics (or for those who don't know Japanese, like the woman behind this post) music & text together are incredibly beautiful.
SIMILARITIES WITH MI QUERIDA SEÑORITA It's been realised right before the post.)
Actually, a character of Jose Luís López Vásquez (Señorita Adela whom viewers meet in the beginning) & Julieta Serrano's maid Isabelita are almost like characters of this song. I (who compares herself to Ophelia) is Adela, and he is Isabelita. But (the film) it's not so easy in terms of gender &what happened after the song's end. (No spoilers for those who hasn't watched.)
LYRICS
Translation
We were so tremendously happy together I can't believe you said goodbye Night and day, sadness fills my heart Ophelia, the devotion of a woman who put her life on the line for love Ophelia, that is the phantom of me who thinks of you Your fickle player's love My wounded love I will always hold onto you, pining A white spectre
I loved him too much Unable to forget him, my heart has been driven mad from love At night my face is covered with tears Ophelia, the devotion of a woman who put her life on the line for love Ophelia, that is the phantom of me who thinks of you A love I had that won't come back A man I had that won't come back And yet I wait in tears, pining A white spectre
