Pay attention to The Chinese "N-th Room" incident

The ‘Chinese version of the N-th Room,’ took place mainly in a private Telegram group called ‘MaskPark Treehole Forum.’ According to reports, it had as many as 100,000 members, and the may have involved up to 900,000 victims—far exceeding the scale of Korea’s N-th Room case.

The victims included large numbers of underage girls. The criminal content varied widely, including covert recordings in public places, drugging and raping classmates or colleagues, secretly recording betrayals of girlfriends or wives, and even the horrifying sharing of videos by members who sexually assaulted their own daughters. Perpetrators used various methods—coercion, deception, hidden cameras, and drugging—to obtain private images and personal information of women, especially minors, then disseminated and sold this material on a massive scale within these groups, using it as a basis for collective verbal humiliation and sexual fantasy sharing. Public discussion was heavily suppressed and information rapidly blocked, the full extent and severity of the incident were never adequately discussed in the public sphere.

Sonic character head ref sheets!!

inspired by @tsaikonautz's head sheets, I made my own sheets, this time with more characters and with far more angles for artists to use! with a 15 x 15 array (225 heads) front & back, thats 450 head angles!

uhh so while trying to work on my edit for the f1 edit challenge I accidentally led myself down a rabbit hole when I was searching pinterest for images and got carried away... I purposefully didn't want to work on it for too long but I got a little attached. Anyways, this is my first time trying to create a photo edit, I know it's not the best but I hope people like it!

Hi! Thanks to you I have gotten into historical f1 and I felt like you were the right place to ask, but do you have any funfacts/lore relating to Alain + Niki during their times as teammates and after, or do you have potential resources you could point me to? The only like funfact or story that I stumbled on is that one time Niki took Alain out to drink after Alain was depressed and other than that nothingness. Any help appreciated. 🙏

When reading your ask, the first story that instantly came into my head was when Niki and Alain were at an important dinner and were sitting at a table with sponsors and businessmen. Niki spotted an attractive-looking lady and said some things of well a sexual nature while Prost was trying to get Niki to stop as the lady's husband was sitting at the table with them 🤭

Niki also said in an interview that he believed the reason he won the 1984 world championship against Alain Prost was that the night before the race, he entertained a woman but made sure she left by 10 pm so he could get his sleep for the race tomorrow, while Alain decided to stay up late entertaining quite an important lady. Hence, he was more tired for the race day.

Marlene Lauda, Niki's wife at the time, had a fondness for Alain Prost and when Niki won the World Championship and Marlene went over to celebrate with him she hugged Prost as well as she felt sorry for him that he was so close to winning, and Niki told Prost that this was his year and next year it would be Prost's turn.

Niki's autobiography, To Hell and Back, is good to read to learn more about his life and a bit about his relationship with Alain Prost. Niki was a bit upset when Prost joined McLaren while he was there as Niki had spent the last year/two years helping design a good car for the season, and he didn't want this young driver to steal it and do well with it. He kept Prost at a distance because he couldn't understand why Prost was so quick during qualifying compared to him when they had the same car; meanwhile, Prost was in awe of Niki because he admired him from the 70s and was happy to be driving with Niki. Niki eventually warmed up to Prost, and they developed an apprentice and mentor relationship.

They were still close when they both retired from F1, with Alain attending Niki's funeral. Alain had also liked posts I've tagged him in, of him and Niki, on my Instagram account dedicated to Niki Lauda. He even added the video of him and Niki at a games show where Niki shoved a crown on his head to his close friend's story when I had tagged him.
