Unlike with my failed pokemon blog that requires far too many steps to get photos here, a final fantasy xiv journaling of my adventures in Eorzea is far easier for this creature to manage since we're all on the same machine.

I've been playing 14 since 2013 and a realm reborn made it's entrance. This means I'm capable of having lots of "back in my day" comments. One example to start you off: "back in my day, belts were equipment pieces". I like how the game was before and I like how it is now.

I'm not going to post every day because I doubt I'll have the time or motivation for that. I won't say how often I'll post because I don't want to fail myself or my imaginary group of readers (let me pretend I'm famous inside my head, I'm not hurting anyone). I'll post when I have something to say. You might get two paragraphs, you might get a novel.

I think a good place to start is by introducing myself. My name is Mairen and I play on Malboro server. I've played on various EU and NA servers over the years depending on where I was living offline at the time, but my current home is Malboro.

My favorite class is dancer, but I can play astro if I'm confident enough in the fight mechanics to keep myself and everyone else alive. I also do ninja, samurai and summoner. It used to be just two classes but that list has grown to five recently. I'm worried about remembering how to play everything not just correctly, but efficiently. If I find I cannot keep up, I'll drop either samurai or ninja.

What else...

Oh! I play as a viera. I've gone back and forth between miqote and viera but I currently feel pretty settled as a bunny girl. Those ears are irresistible! I tried to figure out gpose today to take some screenshots of my various classes, let me show you.

You have no idea how long it took me to get matching "uniforms" for my classes. This is the first time I have a matching set for all of them and I feel so put together, I love it. I'm usually too shy to wear more revealing armor, but this set looks so cute, I'll make an exception.

I'll keep this as a brief introduction for now because I'm sure you'll get to know me a little more with each new post.
