Another old one from last year; client is Sterling & Stone. The phrase is an inside joke with their indie authors – pretty much saying that you can get away with any inconsistencies in your book if you “put a unicorn in it”. So if anyone tries to mess with your story, you can just tell them “well it has a unicorn in it so you can’t expect it to be realistic!” Can’t argue with that for sure 😄✌🏼

modern greek mythology stories i would like to see: cerberus manages to escape from the underworld and hades has to find him before he can unleash his rage upon the mortal realm, only to find out that cerberus was found by a child who tamed him by sharing her after-school snack with him and giving him pets, and he now has to figure out a way to sneak into the suburbs and avoid getting the cops called on him while he steals his three-headed hell-hound back from a five year old girl

I read this thread out loud to my kids and I was surprised to find out my daughter learned a lot of this last year in 7th grade. I thought that was cool. Closest I got was "Masque of the Red Death" by Poe and I read that on my own. And I vaguely remember something about the fleas on rats.

Exercise is great for helping manage Depression. Medication and a doctor are essential.

I really need people who don’t know shit about living with mental illness to stop talking about it, because they’re hurting those of us who live with Depression and other forms of mental illness.
