Changes

This is not going to be my main blog anymore. I’ve tossed this decision around a lot and I’ve agonized over it for weeks, but I have decided that I’m going to be moving my personal blog over to a new URL that is not SnK-focused anymore. Lately, I’ve received a lot of negativity over my lack of interest in SnK and how I rarely reblog it anymore, and because of that, I’ve been getting on Tumblr less because I feel bad posting stuff relevant to my interests.

SO.

This blog is not going inactive, but i will be treating it as my SnK sideblog from now on. I’ll still keep it active, I’ll still answer asks, etc, but if you want to stay connected with me personally, follow me on my new blog:

CHAPTER 8 | Goddammit, Eren’s Hormones [FF | AO3]

Levi, a washed-up ex-journalist working a dead-end custodian job, finds himself transplanted into a suburban neighborhood, serving as the legal guardian of his sixteen-year-old second cousin, twice removed, Mikasa. There, he struggles to navigate the dynamic of this new household, and in the midst, he manages to lock horns with the local pain-in-the-ass: a teenager by the name of Eren Jaeger—who happens to have a thing for his legal child.

Chapter Summary: Let’s zip back two years, before Levi decided to move into town, before things got weird between Eren and Mikasa. It’s 2015, and Eren’s grappling with a seemingly insurmountable force: his own hormones.

Sneak Peek: I set this picture as her contact. It was from last summer, and she was eating a slice of watermelon. Watermelon being messy by default, I tried to snag an awful pic of her, awful as in watermelon juice dripping from her mouth and watermelon chunks mashed in her teeth, yet her being her, she managed to somehow warp the camera and look… okay, I’ll say it, so sue me, go ahead, fuck you, go choke on a dick by the way—basically, she still looked really cute. Ever since this whole thing began, I can’t stop staring at the fucking picture.

Syn: Questions of both the past and future plague Eren and Mikasa, who toe the line between fear and exhaustion with the recent loss of their best friend.

“He almost died.”

The awful, bitter, sharp truth retched from Eren’s throat and onto the ground. He sat on the hood of the van, his long frame curled in on itself, post-rain droplets soaking into his shorts. His knuckles stung terribly- they were an awful, brutal shade of reddish-purple where his skin had hit the asphalt. Bruises lined his jaw and cheeks, as well, where he had hit himself. His throat was dry and coarse, enough so to cause near-pain when he talked, but the words fell, anyway, because they were so purely real that they had no other choice but to be released into the air. Mikasa watched him, silent.
