His Honey has a voracious sweet tooth. Unquenchable. They usually have good self-restraint and know to balance things out - fruit with nutella or weetbix with no more the half a teaspoon of sugar. This discipline took years to perfect but they still have they're binging moments. That's how they got the 'Honey' moniker.

Of course Guy loved to elongate the sounds of the pet name until it was an annoying singsong, but there was a story to it as well.

His Honey keeps a stash of confectionary, pre-packaged (portion control) to prevent a binge. Guy respects this - his vices are more savoury and his metabolism is very kind given how often he indulges. He admires their self-control and the system they put together. Their old roommate on the other hand…

The three had been living together maybe six months when Guy came home to three bags full of rubbish by the door and metal music blasting through the walls of Honey 's room (he still insists he thought the whole apartment was going to vibrate out of the building). Kayla was standing in their now spotless kitchen.

"Doing a clean out," she explained. “Tossing old, unhealthy food and giving everything a deep clean."

Fuuuuck, she was on some new kick.

The pantry was impeccably organised and sparkling with the very noticeable absence of Honey 's sugar-prep box. Kayla waved away his question about it saying there were healthier options, it took up space, it was ugly and all that packaging was wasteful. Guy grimaced. Honey wouldn’t even open the door when he tried to talk to them.

"They'll get over it," Kayla insisted rolling her eyes, "they should thank me for getting rid of that shit!"

Two days went by without seeing Honey; even leaving or coming back from work. Impressive and concerning.

Guy was coming home from a late shift and was run off his feet. He was ready to literally fall asleep wherever he could, but forced himself to hit the kitchen for some water first and was surprised to see the light on. He knocked on the wall as a warning before stepping into view. Honey was stood straight, surprise in their eyes and their hands behind their back when Guy came in. He asked if everything was okay and they nodded. Once.

"That's good," Guy said, " I've been worried about you but I wanted to give you some space until you could maybe forgive-"

"I'm going to kill her," They interrupted. Not an unexpected statement. What was weird was that Honey obviously had their mouth full.

"Ya know midnight snacking isn't good for you, if it's cheese you're gonna have some weird dreams. Make sure to tell me what they are though might be good for a story."

"It's 11."

"You get my point! What are you eating?" They paused, and shifted before gingerly dropping their arms and placing the jar of honey they had been holding on the counter. Guy had seen it in the pantry that morning, shiny new plastic still in place on the lid and now, it was half empty.

"It's the only sweet thing I could find," They whispered not meeting Guy 's eyes. He looked at the jar a moment longer before bursting out laughing.

"Oh Honey, you got your own back didn't ya - she's gonna be pissed! And hey I think you're a pretty sweet thing yourself. Ow Ow! Don't hit me Honeyyyyy, that's mean!"

That was the first time they had smiled in days. Granted, Guy hadn't seen them in days but it still counts.

I think we should spend less time on fluffy audios and more time on developing relationships and lore. I like Davey and “Angel” as much as the next person but they’re in a stagnant place rn and it doesn’t interest me to see them cuddling in bed for the 82nd time. I was to see Morgan develop his relationship w/the other obscura, I want to see more of Vega and Hush. Hell, I’d even prefer Guy audios that further along his career as a writer and talk about that more. Just give me some modicum of plot

•Angel refers to Asher as “my husband’s boyfriend” to the pack. David hates it; Asher pretends to be shocked that they “found out” about their secret love affair.

•Kody took one of those "Are You Gay?" tests as a teenager and didn't appreciate the results.

•Huxley does math for fun in his spare time. His favorite branch of math is geometry, mostly because he finds it more enjoyable than the others, but also because he believes it’s important to have all of its principles memorized for his landscaping job. (Damien thinks it’s really hot)
