I relate this piece to the conflict, because it made me think about peope who try to blend in with masses in order to achieve thier own goal or go thier own way in selfish ways or not. It makes em think about people not staying true to themselves for others good or lying to others to achieve thier own goals.

Conflict
By Miko Masciaszek
These images made me think about peoples addiction to social media and how so many of us get disconected from the world. I relate thsi to the conflict, because of my belief that before phones and social media where a way to connect people and create bridges between people in different sides of the world, but now, although social media still has this function, it became something different, it became a thing that creates more problems, dissconetcts people from the real world and often messes with peoples mental health.

This piece gives me earie feeling but at the same time it made me think how small we are compared to the whole world although we have it all to explore for ourselves. I relate this piece and the feeling that it gave me to the other, because it’s very odscure and hard to easily explain.

Legacy/ideology
Mithology, fairytales
Mythology and fairytales are big inspiration and source material for concepts of my personal art and I often get inspired by it. I relate it to legacy and ideology due the fact that variety of myths and fairytales are still retold to this day, many creatives remake existing tales giving it their own twist and many of it has been adapted to the screen. Ideology comes from the beliefs of people that have wrote the original myths and tales, and the innocent belief of children in these stories.

Feminism movement
Feminism is a social movement, a political movement and an ideology that strives to achieve political, economic, personal and social equality of the sexes. I wouldn’t consider myself a feminist, hovewer the movement itself is inspiring to me not only because of women impowerment and goal for women voices to be heard, but for ideology, as one of the triggers that I relate this to, of all peoples equality despite their sex or age.

Work by Yoshitaka Amano
Yoshitaka Amano is a Japanese artist, character designer and illustrator. He first came into prominence in the late 1960s working on the anime adaptation of Speed Racer, then he later became the creator of iconic and influential characters such as Gatchaman, Tekkaman: The Space Knight, Hutch the Honeybee and Casshan. In 1982 he went independent and became a freelance artist, finding success as an illustrator for numerous authors, and worked on best-selling novel series, such as The Guin Saga and Vampire Hunter D. He is also known for his commissioned illustrations for the video game Final Fantasy. From my observations a lot of his work is imagery of fantasy worlds and elements, with traditional Japanese mith imagery and some religious conseptual imagery. I am not sure if I relate his work more with The Other due the strangeness and atmosphere of it, or Idealogy as his work reflects his beliefs, mithical beliefs that exist within his cultural heritage and religious aspetcts of that are certain idealogys itself.

The Other
Work by kinorinsama ‘no solace’
Solace is comfort/consolation during strong moments of disstress or sadness. I think the name suits the piece very well, as the first thing that poped in my head when I came accross this piece is discomfort and the emotion of not being able to get a hold of yourself, state of uneasiness and fragiallity. I relate this to the Other given the nature of human emotions and responses to it.

The Other
‘The Unlucky’ by Lynn Nguyen
I came across this image while loking throu my Pinterest feed. Imediately made me think about people and their inner demons, negative, damaging thoughts as a companion, a constant mental state, so the person itself decides to live with it without trying to get better. I relate this to the Other, as mentioned in my previous post, because human feelings and emotions are difficult to understand, it’s not easy to find triggers for different mental states.

The Other
By Miles Johnston
His work is done mainly with grapgite and oils using human body as a vehicle to understand the intensity and strangeness of collective human experience. The distortions and transformation of his subject are there to represent peoples internal state in very crutial moments in their lives. The distortion and surreal imagery in this piece of work for me evoked a strong feeling of loss, more so a person mental state, feelings undergoing the moments of loosing someone without the ability of getting them back. It could be someone very dear and close to you like a friend, family, a lover or even your own self, as I am familiar with the feeling of loosing yourself without the ability to figure out why it happened. I personally relate it to the Other, because for me human mind and their state of being, feelings are very hard to get my grasp to in order to deeply understand it.

Identity
Fan culture/Fandoms
It is obvious that fan culture could be described as a part of community that shares same enjoyment of a part of pop culture like TV shows, movies, music, books and comics, video games, sport teams and celebrities. Fan culture is a very good example of participatory culture as well, wich meas that fans are not only consumers of certain content and products but also as producers and creators of variety of creative media such as fan fiction, fan art, cosplay, fan videos and etc. I relate this with identity because I believe that fans sort of evolve and grow with popular media, they approach the ideas from the pop culture rereading it in creative ways for their own use. Fans interactions with media forms social activities, which leads to people building thier own communities where they can express themselves freely. This leads to people finding parts of their own identity and it can help them discover more things about themselves like sexuality, gender, hobies and etc.

Allegory of Divine Providence and Barberini Power (Cortona)
Legacy/Ideology:
This artwork is a fresco doen by an Italian painter Pietro da Cortona, that was started in 1633 and finished in 1636. It fills the cieling of the grand salon of the Palazzo Barberini in Rome. For Cortona, the luminous sky became a teeming tour de force, a style that became influenced many other large fresco spectacles. This piece portrays the Crown of Immortality as twelve stars. This relates the the ideology of thier leader being immortal and can relate to religion too, as many frescos contain religious imagery like angels and fill cieling of many churches. In terms of legacy, this piece has inspired other frescos that way showing its importance, and its grand size with imagery and level of skill makes people loose thier breath upon seeing it. This type of frescon often inspire me with its level of detail and their creators skill.
