Hi Daniela!
I like how you implemented things from outside the class, and other social medias, i hadn’t thought about adding stuff like that to my website to add credibility and make the audience trust me with other information besides my assignments, it really helps solidify the website overall! Super happy you brought this up, will definitely use it for my website as well!!
Week 16:Ethos, Pathos, Logos
Section A: Link to my website!
https://tudaniela.wixsite.com/rws1302
Section B: As a writer!
Ethos:
Homepage: I will also talk about my experience in this course by being completely honest to create more credibility. When talking about me, I will explain that I am a student from the University of Texas at El Paso and clearly state the purpose of the website.
Reflections: For this section, I will strive to have no grammatical/punctuation errors when writing the reflection for each assignment.
Logos:
Homepage: The content and structure of the homepage will represent the logo appeal. I will make sure all of my writing is clear and understandable.
Reflections: For this section, I will use graphics as examples/reflections of my writing to show how my assignment looked.
Pathos:
Homepage: I will talk about me some of my interests and expectations for the class. I will talk about what that I enjoyed about the class assignments and some of the times that I struggled with the material.
Reflections: Since reflections are talking about my feelings towards the class and assignments, I will use emotional language when writing them. I will implement the emotions I felt throughout the class: proud, joyful, overwhelmed, confused, etc.
Section C: As a designer!
Ethos:
I will set ethos by adding some of my contact information, social media, and a picture of myself. I am also, thinking about adding some screenshots, or quotes from the RWS e-book to have more credibility.
Logos:
I will also make sure that my website is easy to navigate and proportional by creating several tabs and divisions to separate each section. I will focus on the structure of my website to make It look organized.
Pathos:
To appeal by emotion, I will use a professional style to design my website. I will include visuals both academic and personal to make it more personalized and to help the audience know me a little better. Of course, I will use emotional language when writing each section.
Goodbye everyone! Thank you for all your feedback, good luck in all your finals!

Week 16: Ethos, Pathos, Logos FTW!
Section A: Let’s see what you’ve got so far!
https://rmescalera.wixsite.com/rws1302
Section B: As a writer!
In order to connect with the audience, the writer must provide information with the use of ethos, pathos, and logos. This will insure that the audience not only is reading the information, but understanding it.
Ethos: I will introduce ethos in three different sections, including my About Me section and my two reflections sections, where i will reflect on major assignments throughout the semester and readings given to us in order to help us with the assignments. This is done in order to establish credibility amongst the audience, showing I now have a background in rhetorical studies. This way you don’t have your audience looking at you like this, wondering if they should trust you or not.
Pathos: In my opinion pathos is the most important aspect because of the fact that you can solidify the connection with your readers. I will present this throughout my website, specially in the reflection sections, providing opinions about past major assignments. That way I connect with people that are overly emotional.... like me.
Logos: I will provide my audience with references of statements that i have made, ‘cause i ain’t no liar, backing up evidence and proving it came form a reliable source.
Section C: As a designer!
Ethos: Because i am reviewing past assignments and readings, i will be providing pictures of each, that way i show what i am talking about, providing credibility for the audience. If i add pictures, the reader will believe me because the the graphic is next to the context.
Pathos : Even though i have not finished my design of the website, i plan to employ a theme that has to do with my semester topic, that way i provide a sense of emotion. I plan to use the Hope’s example. Her semester topic was electrical engineering ,so her website theme looked engineer-ish.
Logos: Again, by providing pictures i will allow the reader to trust me, the writer. For example, even though not an image of the actual assignment, Adali posted a picture of feedback received by professor, showing a god response, and adding to her logos; the professor.

Hi Karlaaaa!
OK, first of all, I'm glad all of us are on the same page!! I was worried we were concerned about different aspects of our poster, but results we aren't!! I also believe that the most comfortable aspect of the poster is the topic in general. I mean equality=better world right?! I think it is important that we have both ethnic and gender diversity in medicine in order for us to have more brains in the workforce. As a matter of fact I believe all work fields should be focused in further diversifying in order to prevent bias’ in any field. I am really happy with how far along we have gotten on our project and I'm excited to see the outcome you, Morgan and I come up with! See you soon!
Week 14: Creating a plan for action
Since the day the project was assigned, my group and I have managed very well to work on it. We have been meeting once or twice a week, and it is usually a two-hour meeting.
a. Working on the research poster since day one has helped us as a group to get the project going and do not fall behind. For future meetings we are committing to the project on the same days that we have set it before. It may be possible that the committed hours or days could extend in case there is any extra work we have to finish.
b. The research we made individually for the Lit Review has helped us to complete our research poster as a group. The information we are including on the research poster comes from the sources we found by ourselves according to our topic. I can say that Thursdays and Fridays are the days when I work alone. Our group meetings are on Mondays from 12:00 to 2:00 PM and some class time on Wednesdays. These days would be the time when we put together all the research we found and build it up little by little.
c. Individually, I will concentrate on looking for the appropriate information to include on the research poster. There are no specific sections we work day by day, we usually look at the sections that we need to work on more and try to make it better each day. For future meetings we are now concentrating on finishing our Introduction, which includes our thesis. We are also planning to work on finishing the presentation for the research poster. This will be done on the next meeting on Monday.
d. When I did my Lit Review I looked for a lot of sources which could be very helpful for my group to include some information from there. What I am planning to do to get the aspects mentioned before is to get the quotes that match with our group project and talk about them to my group mates. We will commit to meet on the days mentioned before in order to complete our project in time.
e. The Research Poster was kind of a confusing project at first, but working as a group was easier for me to understand the requirements. However, there is still some aspects of the project that I do not completely understand and this would be the introduction and founding images that correlate to our topic. We already have some part finished from the introduction, but we are not sure if it’s supposed to be own knowledge put together as the thesis or the information we put on the contract for the objective part. Also, we have had some trouble finding some images to show our ethos.
f. I am really comfortable with almost all the aspects of the assignment but specially the topic our group got to make, because I feel that we are now putting the information all together and working as a group. The long process of doing the Lit Review filled us with knowledge from our topics that we are now putting together to inform other about our topics.
Here’s a video to show the importance of knowing how to work in groups :) ENJOY!!!!

Week 14: Wrapping Up the Poster
What specific aspects of the assignment are you most concerned about? What can you do to address those concerns? Being a teamwork project, my teammates, Morgan and Karla, and I have been meeting in order to create a poster that will catch the audiences’ eye and bring forward a topic that is very important to us, Diversity in the Medical Field.
What days and times will you commit to the project?
My teammates and I have decided that we are meeting once a week to put together ideas that we have come up with during the week before and look at how far along we have come. Sincere still need a few things to polish up our poster we are meeting two times next week, Monday and another day we are all available, each meeting consisting of atlas two hours.
What days/times are you working as a group and when will you work alone?
The following week we will be working two days out of the week together, and the rest we will work by ourselves, meaning we have the chance to edit the postern our own, and when we get together talk about editions.
Specifically, what aspect of the project will you address on each of those days?
After completing the first part of the assignment, we didn't have to work on any section as a whole. We are, however, editing each section, like Introduction and Conclusion, adding our collaborated thesis statement to both parts and simply tweaking the appearance of the poster, making it more appealing. This will be done on the first meeting of the following week. On the second meeting we will be preparing our presentation on PowerPoint, where will will explain in detail the reason behind everything on our poster.
(this is us nailing our presentation)
Specifically, what will you do to complete those aspects of the project?
Using past assignments like the Literature Review, including matrices, each member of the group is picking up point of views in order to create our thesis statement. This will later be added to out intro and simplify for our conclusion. We are also researching about ways to better diversity in the medical field and adding it to the Results section.
What specific aspects of the assignment are you most concerned about? What can you do to address those concerns?
As we first started talking about our assignment, my teammates and I had trouble thinking about what we could include in our Introduction section, not knowing how we would all incorporate each of our thesis, so we started by writing separate thesis, each one, explaining why our topic was important to us. We are still in the process of writing a single thesis, with all three ideas, but we are breaking it into simple steps to not loose focus of what our main goal is and not feel overwhelmed.
What specific aspects of the assignment are you most comfortable with? Why?
Even though the introduction is something we are having trouble with, I feel most comfortable with that section because it is how we are providing a point of view for a topic that is important to me and my teammates. I feel comfortable with the fact that we are providing the reason behind the topic even though we are hitting a couple of bumps on the road with wording. Not only do I feel comfortable with the introduction, I feel comfortable with the topic itself because we are bringing an important topic of diversity as a whole into discussion.
As we put our project together we realize how much on an important topic we chose to talk about on our poster, and I couldn't be any more happy that we chose something that can change the world in a blink of an eye. Or so we hope so.

Hi Sylvia, I really like how you not only went into detail for each question, but also provided screenshot of what you were referring to in each section, it was very helpful for me and I understand better what you were implying. I agree with you when you say that this poster is very appealing, because it really is!! I also like the design of it all, its not too boring nor too busy. I will also use this sample to help me and my group make a better poster! I will also, like you and your group, bring to my groups attention that this poster has more sections as the requirements suggest, because I believe that a pathos section will help the message get across better. Good Job!
W13: Analyzing Research Posters
1.
The poster I decided to analyze is titled Internet Inequality.
2.
Compared to the requirements that we must include in our own project, this poster contains few other elements such as the abstract, background and methodology sections. These sections are not required on our own poster, but the results and conclusion are. Therefore, our poster is required to focus on our main results rather than give so much space to background or general info.
3.
The objective of the poster is to show the facts and correlations of how internet inequality affects students. It gathers data from sources that show how income levels give access to the use of the internet. The purpose is clear since every category addresses its main topic that is displayed as the title. The graphs are appropriate and also correspond to the main subject. They provide enough information for each section in an appropriate manner in which is not too overwhelming in information for a poster. Their conclusion is a well balanced final summary that displays the thesis found in the results and background.
4.
This poster is mainly directed to those who use the internet regularly in which case is usually younger people. It is most likely this reason because the topic is on the internet and the poster is on the internet as well. The facts are given easily, however, there are some larger more complex words, therefore, this poster would be mainly younger individuals who are in a higher education such as in high school or even university. The colors are bright and the information is well styled with the design of the poster which is also appealing when a younger individual is searching through the internet. The strongest aspects of this poster that would easily appeal to others, as it easily appealed to me, was the organization, design, and structure of information.
5.
The ethos of the poster could be found in its visual and information setting. The poster is very organized and appealing to the eye, where a poster that was messy and unattractive would not look credible nor professional. The poster has some of its sources put in its methodology section in which shows how they conducted their research and what they used. The placing of their university in regards of how the university supported their research also applies a credible outlook onto the poster. There is also a graph that provides ethos to the poster to show the information they have analyzed.
—–
6.
Much of the pathos comes from the bringing up about the education of children. The topic of children would emotionally tie the audience especially since it mentions children who come from low-income households. The emotional aspect of the children is brought up in the picture in the middle as well. The information also explains the issues on low income communities and minorities. An emotional appeal of poverty stricken minority families could easily bring the emotion from other minorities who read the poster and could be relevant to them.
7.
The logos is effective in this poster as it has a very good structure in presenting information and chronologically has its sections from abstract to conclusion. On the logos aspect, I believe that some of the information is a bit unorganized (in the results), however, in my own opinion-I just couldn’t understand a phrase they gave in as a fact. The rest of the poster is well done, the graph fits where the information is relevant and to the audience the poster is easy to understand.
————————
————————
1.
The poster’s design is well thought out and extremely appealing. Its logos aspect is very well done and I would take its concepts into my own poster. The organization of each section and the corresponding color scheme is very appealing and makes it credible in that way as well. This poster is very balanced in how much information and visuals it gives that I would like to take from to my own poster. In every section the poster stays on its focus of how the lack of internet access affects how well children do in school which is another model for my own work.
2.
Through my analysis of the poster I noticed that it contains a bit more sections than the requirements for our own poster’s. In the first draft of our outline we only had the requirements, however, as I was doing this assignment a bit earlier I liked the idea of adding more especially to the pathos section. We (as a group) ended up adding another section to the poster of the prominent diverse people in science that adds the emotional aspect of our work. The poster above is also very organized and designed professionally in which for the further process of our poster I will definitely try to incorporate a creative layout that will catch the audience’s attention.

Week 13: Analyzing Research Poster and Implications for your own design
How does this poster display Ethos? Is it effective? Why or why not?
Section A: Analyzing a Research Poster
Time to analyze!!
Japonic and Korean: A Morphological Comparison
How is this poster similar and dissimilar from the requirements for your own research poster? This poster is very similar to the requirements for our own research poster in many aspects. For starters, the poster includes results and conclusion, like the poster my group is doing for class. Even though my groups poster does not include background and question, i’m sure it is helpful for the point that is proven. This poster includes graphics that brings to ones attention what is being compared as the title says, Japan and Korea. The poster also uses a certain layout to help our eyes move in the direction of the order of the poster.
What is the purpose of the poster? Is the purpose clear? Is the purpose effectively displayed? Why or why not? The purpose of this poster is to compare Japan and Korea, and is clearly displayed by not only the tittle but also the picture of the map with bold letters Japan and Korea
Who is the intended audience for the poster? How do you know? This poster is aimed towards people who have no knowledge in either Japan or Korea and think that both speak the same language. The audience knows because the authors of this poster clearly stated so in the Question section.
Does it effectively appeal to the intended audience? Why or why not? I believe that the poster does not appeal to the intended audience because of its basic design and think it could use other graphic that catch the audiences eye faster, while still going straight to the point.
How does this poster display Ethos? Is it effective? Why or why not? With the use of charts, the poster displays credibility, because it compares not just both Japan and Korea but other foreign languages as well.
How does this poster display Pathos? Is it effective? Why or why not? Because of it’s basic design, the poster does not evoke any emotion.
How does this poster display Logos? Is it effective? Why or why not? With the use of the graph, this poster shows the logic behind the poster, by comparing the two said subjects.
Section B: Implications for your own research poster
How will you use the sample and you own analysis of the sample towards guiding the design of your own research poster? Be specific. This sample poster will surely help my group and I make a better poster because it has a number of strengths, which include font size, simple color design and use of visual aids. The font size is perfect because it can be seen from a certain distance and does not make it difficult to read info. Also, the simple color will help us to make a poster that is not to busy for the eye, and makes it easy for the reader to interpret. Finally, the pictures provided showed me that my group and I must choose a graphic that clearly states the purpose of our poster.
How has your own outline changed after this analysis? Be specific. As we created our outline, my group and I had trouble looking for visuals we could add to catch the eye of the audience while showing our purpose. We also had trouble with the design, not knowing what colors to use and how to arrange information, but with this poster I know now that less really is more. Now that i have seen good examples I can help my group polish up the poster for our final draft.

I too learned that sadly, we are still a minority in the medical field, whether it is gender or ethnicity, I saw how many barriers we may face on our journey of our career. I think you were pretty lucky, in a way, getting the interview via email because i was so nervous when i conducted my interview in person! however, i do feel i asked additional questions in order to take advantage of the fact that I spoke to the interviewee in person. Before this paper i was also iffy about my APA citing but finally got the hang of it with practice of the matrix. Good job!
Week 12: Reflection
The literature research paper was not difficult to write but it was time consuming.
This research helped me realize that the nursing field is not ethnically diverse. Minorities are increasing slowly and it is good to have diversity in the workforce because it can improve quality care of a patient. A lot of time had to be dedicated to this assignment in order to get the best possible grade. It was very stressful at times. Conducting the interview was not difficult for me since I was via email. I would of liked to conduct a face to face interview to get more information but my scholar answered all my questions. Since it was through email it was easy to to quote my scholar
What I learned is important in the future because here in El Paso Hispanics are the majority but in other places we are the minority. Hispanic people do not have many barriers here but once we move to other places barriers might be created. This is why it is good to be informed of how diverse the nursing field is, it helps us be prepared for the future.
This is my second research paper and writing this paper helped me fully understand the APA requirements. This will probably not be the last paper I write so I will use what I have learned from this experience and apply it to the papers I will write in the future. When i receive feedback on this paper I will also use it to see what I need to maintain and improve.

Week 12 - Literature Review Reflection
*that little Rosa de Guadalupe breeze you feel when you finally finish a long assignment*
What
In therms of the topic itself, I learned a lot during the research process, not only how not having diversity can affect more than one community, but also what can be done to help further diversify the medical field. The research taught me how, sadly, women today still face issues with sexism and sexual assault, no matter what century we are in. Also, wanting more women in the medical field isn’t so much about being feminist but because of what is brought to the table. For instance, women think differently, in ways men do no, providing a different perspective. Women also have shown to provide better patient care than male doctors do! I feel that this assignment encouraged me to follow my dreams and go into the medical profession.
Writing a literature review helped me understand readings (specially scholarly articles) and how to properly analyze their purpose. At first, I thought the assignment was going to be overwhelming, but breaking it down like professor Cisneros did made it about x100000 easier and i’m almost sure, not to toot my own horn but beep beep, that this is one of my best assignments EVER.
(that’s me tooting my own horn)
Conducting the primary research was so nerve-recking, at first, for someone like me who gets anxiety with just thinking of interviewing someone, however, preparing the questions before hand and understanding them helped me feel more in control and not so shy!
So What
I feel that everything that I learned is vital for getting to where ever it is I want to be in a few years. During the interview, Dr. Karinn Chambers talked about her struggles, but how in the end it has payed off BIG TIME, and I want to be able to say that in a near future, even be in her position, it really motivated to keep forward with deciding to stay in medicine.
Writing a Literature Review, let alone a 12 page paper, will surely help me when im in grad school, cause I mean, IT’S GRAD SCHOOL. Pursuing a career in medicine, im sure i will have to conduct many studies and have to write many papers about it, and this assignment has showed me if i take it step by step, i will write 100 pages in no time. I also learned to use ALL sources possible to help prove a point, and not take anything for granted because even 10 minutes in the writing center can be a huge help.
Now What
Now that I am aware of the great impact women have in the medical field, I want to keep pushing myself until not only am i done with my profession, but I am helping other women get their dream job. I plan to use my newly learned communication skills whilst applying for grad school, internships, fellowships, and jobs because of the fact that i will now be able to tel them, “This is why i want to do it”. I also hope to be the next Dr. Grey, and have my own show, if thats not too much to ask for.
I also plan to use the set of skills professor Cisneros has taught us for other assignments because I feel they eased the assignment as a whole AND help me actually understand what I was writing about!

Hi Aaron, I enjoyed how your post not only gave where to find help, but also provided examples of what is expected of us, just in case some of us (ME) learn with examples and not with reading.
Im glad I came across your post this week because of the fact that last week was peer review week and i had a little trouble with my references according to my teammates. After going through the post i now now what i did wrong!!
I have also started to write my final draft, hence the completion of my abstract, and now i have some help to correct my abstract and polish it up to get a higher score. THANKS! Good job with the post this week!
Week 11: Piecing together the literature review
LET’S GO
1) Table 1/Group 1: Cover Page, Abstract, Refrences
Cover Page:
a. Requirments
-Running Head: TITLE
-PAGE # 1
-PUSH DOWN TO A LITTLE HIGHER THAN HALF OF THE PAGE; CENTER
-Title: A review of Literature
-Name
-Institution (University of Texas at El Paso)
-Semester (Spring 2017)
b. I felt Purdue Owl had the best example of this: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/
c. Norming Sample 1 will help my classmates meet these requirements. Professor Cisneros told us this example was scored a high A, so we should follow this paper to a tee. (However, we must add page number 1).
Abstract:
a. 1-2 paragraph summary of one’s research questions and findings (roughly 150 words). Write this last.
b. In the RWS E-book there is a summarized statement on how to write an abstract. Do not be worried, it is not an area you should overthink.
c. By the use of Purdue owl, my classmates will understand that the abstract may actually be one of the simpler parts of the essay. I myself was a little worried about this portion of the paper, however after seeing the example on Purdue owl I am now more confident. https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/
References:
a. References must be in APA format.
b. Purdue Owl also has a great example of how one’s reference page should look. (Page 9) https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/18/
c. My classmates will understand just how to correctly write out their references by using the section from Purdue Owl named, “Reference List: Electronic Sources (Web Publications)” https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/10/

Week 11: Requirement Guidelines
My assigned group was Table 2, AKA Intro’s & In-Text Citations
A) What are the assignment requirements for your section?
Intros
What is the purpose of this assignment? Identify the WHY
Include a thesis statement (at beginning or at end of paragraph)
Present your ideas in order (this gives the audience an idea on the paper’s subject)
include titles, names, and authors to already establish credibility
In-Text Citations
Smooth transitioning in between what you are stating and what author is stating to create flow in writings
exact wording (paraphrasing allowed in iconographic material)
elaborate quote, why you chose it and what it means to your paper
B) Where did you find this info?
I gathered a few information from the RWS Handbook, in different chapters, especially in Assignment #3.
I also gathered information from the Week 11 folder in Blackboard
and from the Purdue Owl site as well
Purdue owl helped me cite my in-text citations correctly in APA style
C) How will you and your classmates meet these requirements?
Not only by following guidelines will my classmates and I accomplish these tasks, but also by seeing exemplary examples of what is expected of us.
Thankfully, the RWS Handbook provides us with examples of past LR’s
If RWS fails to help you understand, professor Cisneros has provided us with additional helpful links on Blackboard

I find it interesting that we kind of had the same topic, however you focus more on race whereas i focus on gender. I also read why you decided to choose these people to interview and it makes sense, with them having similar backgrounds. I liked you post very mush as it was detailed and helpful to me making my post! Good Job!
Academic Stalking!
Major: Biology College of science Department of biological sciences
contact info and faculty profiles:
Advising info:
now off to do some stalking!!
I found three professors and I am actually very happy and excited about interviewing them. They are all from the Biological sciences department and have extremely interesting topics. Keep reading to find out why I chose them.
I chose Dr. Laura Diaz- Martinez because she is Hispanic. She studied biology in Mexico and her research areas are very interesting to me. I feel she would be a good fit for my research since she is a hispanic woman working on the field of science.
I chose Dr. Renato Aguilera mainly because he teaches biology and is part of the Border Biomedical Research Center. His research involves participation of underrepresented minorities which indicates he has experience working with hispanic students as well as other students. Who better than him, that is aware of the importance of representing minorities, to interview about the lack of diversity!
I chose Dr. Rosa Maldonado because I love her work and areas of research. I read about her past work/education and she has been to many countries including Brazil, Venezuela, and the UK. This made realize that she has cultural understanding and an open mind. I believe she would be a very interesting person to interview since she was in fact a minority when she was studying abroad. She knows about the difficulties of being a minority and the importance of having racial diversity.
….and I am 100% done with this assignment, YAY!

Correlating College: College of Science

Now that that is over with, LET THE STALKING BEGIN
*cue creepy stalker music*
I chose Dr. Han because of the fact that, not only is she a female in the science and medical department, but also she is a minority here in El Paso and I feel that would help some of my research question answers.
The reason I chose Dr. Garza is because she is not only my advisor but one of my professors, and feel the interview will be much easier and i will get more honest answers about diversity of women in the industry.
I chose Dr. Fasenko because she studies what i want to study in the future, which is animal sciences. Also, she is a professor at NMSU and it would be interesting to me to get more insight of what professors in that university have to say about my topic.
Now that I'm done stalking, i will discretely leave this here, in attempt to make you forget i stalked my professors, and it was not creepy at all.

After reading the before, it is clear that you did get a different perspective after visiting the UWC. Even though some of the questions remained the same, the way you played with words made new questions that are closer to what the category asks for and are easier to understand. Also, I saw that you struggled a little in the beginning, or so you say so, and so did I. In my opinion that is the best way to connect with your assignment and to get a better grade!
The questions i recommend you use are 2-5. Not only are these good questions to research because it is something you cannot find by just googling it, but you will have enough research to do for both of them for the upcoming assignments. The reason I left out questions 1 and 6 is because question one is something you can find by searching it, very easy question. Question two is vague and has quite a room for bias, meaning you can be talking about any policies in any issue.
For the questions i did choose, which were 2-5, there is enough information to put under each category that falls into your topic. I have a similar topic, however my topic is based on gender and not ethnicity, and i see how these questions play an important role in the medical community.
p.s. your GIFS made me laugh so much! super relatable and super cute! Good Job!!
Research Questions
My original questions…. Yeah, everything seemed all over the place and I obviously needed some clarifications.
I went to the writing center and this was literally her reaction…
Proof that I actually went to get my questions revised! :)

And this is how the questions looked after a little help!
My reflection:
After I visited the writing center I realized I had some misconceptions with the categories of the questions. The person that revised my work, took the time to make sure I understood all of the categories. Though she did not actually help transform my original ideas to better structured questions, I was able to come up with them on my own after her explanations. I wish she could have spent more time to revising my new research questions but overall she was very helpful and I definitely needed some guidance.
Yay! I feel so happy to have finished this assignment!
