As soon as she heard the announcement, Emily started gathering people together to prepare to land and give people the option to disembark, making sure everyone was safe and accounted for. She was as smooth and scripted as ever- No one would guess she hasn't slept since before the mission! ElecMan was right by her side, having moved on from his previous crying fit. Emily sees Quasar being led by Stanley and Aika to the waterfall a short ways off

The Delphinus makes a turn, starting to slow as the action clears. And inside the trapdoored container, the Shifters nervously wait. The toys Virus threw in go untouched for now, as most of the Shifters are  prepared for the worst - being returned to slavery. One begins inching toward the trapdoor

 Stay in ready!  But we're slowing down!  Which means the guards are probably here! If they catch you slacking you'll be punished!  BUt those people... they said they were going to let us out!  ...No one gets let out. That's not how things go for us. The guards stopped them I'm sure of it!

The trapdoor opens, to many gasps, but then a distinctly not-V-Corp-Guard-shaped person enters

 We came, we saw, we KICKED ITS EXHAUST PIPE TO ORBIT!

FUCK YAH!

Virus fires her Gemini laser into the sky. Just outside the trapdoor, Emily waits. She wasn't willing to get too near to Virus and Top Man, much less be in the same confined space with them, but she's here nonetheless to greet any of the shifters that come out of the crate. They are her people now, after all, at least in her eyes.

The pair are soon overrun by grateful Shifters hugging them. Virus tries her best to return all the hugs by wrapping the shifters and TopMan into a big extendo arm hug

No more punishments! I'm out... I'm really out... Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!!!!!

she smiles a warm sincere smile as tears welled in her eyes. Come to think of it, TopMan doesn't think he has ever seen her this happy

What happens now?

If I remember right one of our friends has a place for us to dock at the edge of the Jungle. I'm gonna head to the Captain and find out. I'll text Virus when I do, and she'll tell ya don't worry girls, my lessons in freedom will continue (^_−)−☆

The rod is abruptly blown from his hands by a blast of wind. And then he sees it - a V-Corp boat, dead behind them, and starting to gain now that it can see them

"OH COME ON!"

SOUND THE ALARM!

Enker wasted absolutely no time, sounding the alarm as soon as humanly possible. 

"We are under attack! I repeat: We are under attack!"

Justin! You ready to shoot?

"Huh- OH. HELL YEAH!!!"

He immediately gets up, readying his new laser gun >:] Good thing he never leaves it, as V-Corp guards with grappling hooks are starting to emerge - within his range before they jump tho. Bro is. Having a little too much fun right now.

FULL THRUST FORWARD! REAR THRUSTERS ENGAGE!

From his post at the rear control, Gamzee gets Vyse's signal and turns on both thrusters, sending the village further away But not so far the V-Corp ship can't keep up the chase though Justin is just firing wildly. Why did we give him a laser gun again? Enker was drawing fire away from the others, absorbing stray shots that got too close to him and sending them at the V-Corp employees as Vincent threw Bioga. Vincent, Enker, and Justin are joined by Stanley, who frantically points at the village's engine control station.

Good thinking Stanley! Justin! Our engines are likely their target! Defend them!

Further up the village, one guard does get lucky with a grappling hook and climbs into the village, but when he opens a door, instead of something to capture for stock points, he finds a... thing, who hits him with a point blank fireball. The guard's stock portfolio sees record losses overnight - as does his life. Vyru throws in a couple baps for free! File's watching his new friend in concern.

 THe Incursionists float on a bundle of containers, the Delphinus following them above. Runa steadily guides them through the current, eventually coming within view of Gear Village

We'll need to hurry once we get there. Also Enrique you should escape on your own. As one of the only places publicly resisting V-Corp, Valua's too important to risk losing its leader now

 Enker had very little to say, really only making sure the other members of the team were alright. ElecMan has definitely seen better days, currently trying to regain his footing. Virus is also a little worn out, but she's more or less having fun flying on a box through the sky. Notos is caring for their pokemon, various potions and status heals scattered around their feet

Went through all the containers. All the Shifters are ok, but there's enough of them that the best idea is keeping them in there until we get to Pokeworld.

Quasar ghosts back through the floor, and in a matter of moments, a green beam pierces through the floor, cutting a circle in the container through which Quasar flies out. He then fashions a trapdoor latch and ladder out of a fallen branch

The Shifter springs up, returning back to the "ready" position and bracing like she's ready to be hit. Enker was... Not the best at comforting people. But he did know what it was like to be a tool for someone else's end. He knelt down to her level, looking the shifter in the eye.

Virus walks over and gives the shifter a gentle look

Adieme goes for the NI first, firing off poison rounds toward Stanley and Vyse Viper runs in to cover for the two, making sure they don't get the full force of the attack. Several poison rounds hit her... but she doesn't poison

The troll keeps blasting her, growing increasingly frustrated

Viper just shrugs Adieme then tries spraying a green glowing substance from her syringe

Quinn hurries over, commanding Felbat to focus her blasts on the Bad Guys. Quasar grabs his arm, and begins working on something - a new crossbow knocked together with Arastron’s bow. the pieces are of ancient make and have several magic mechanisms - folding to a scimitar, firing a few different kinds of magic arrows, and also having faint but still present Convytezynce

Arastron wanted that for you

Quinn seems intrigued, nodding quietly.

"WHY ARE YOU ARMING HIM?!"

FOR THE FIGHT WE ARE CURRENTLY IN?!

“EXACTLY! WE NEED ALL HANDS ON DECK AT THE MOMENT”

As if to prove the point, Adieme chooses that moment to start wailing on Justin and Quinn with Poison Govorduulysis. He runs outta the way, nope nope Nope- Quinn also zips outta the way, attempting to fire his new weapon. He's not sure how it works yet. There are more settings on it, but he'll have to figure those out later - at its core it seems to work like a normal crossbow, only the arrows are bright green and come from nowhere apparently. and, as he discovers, are fully effective on those blasted sorcerers he couldn't hit earlier. Oh yay! He can actually shoot em! Viper thinks for a moment, if she's immune to their attacks, then she's probably their best bet at taking them down. She arms herself with her quick boomerang launcher and begins firing at Adieme

I recall you... I once held your will in my grasp, and I will seize it again!

Nicole begins charging the purple lightning. ElecMan runs in front of Viper to shield her from the attack

he stands tall and strikes a pose

Nicole changes targets, now aiming for Elec Man with charged wires.ElecMan stands triumphantly, ready to take on the bulk of the attack. It hurts a little, but a lot less than it would for Viper - only the Govorduulysis is counted. ElecMan is mostly unaffected from the attack 

hello, lovely meeting you. My name is ElecMan, short for Electricity. 

He strikes Nicole with lightning from above. Nicole narrowly dodges - it seems she only forces lightning to serve her, rather than being a true acolyte of it. Seeing this only upsets ElecMan even more. Electricity surges through his circuits, as his attacks become more and more powerful. Nicole takes a step back, then lunges, apparently opting for her spear-tipped spider legs to do the job better. uh oh, that's not exactly what ElecMan was expecting. He tries to dodge as best as he can with his lightning reflexes, but a leg still. manages to pierce ElecMan's arm, revealing the circuitry underneath his false skin. That circuitry bit is where Nicole targets. Purple lightning covers the arena floor around Elec Man. Again, the lightning doesn't affect him that much. But the pain from his arm certainly is, he grasps at it, trying to cover the injury with his hand. Nicole's starting to get really frustrated. She spends some Govorduulysis to become immune to Adieme's poison and hide in it, then move around and ambush Elec Man from behind, trying to take his name. Viper runs in through the poison to help assist Elec Man 

BEHIND YOU! 

she fires her quick boomerang at Nicole. Hearing her warning Elec Man turns around and fires thunder beams at his would-be ambushers 

ENERGIZE!

From behind Nicole at the same time comes a flurry of attacks from Runa, whacking Nicole around before throwing a boomerang at Adieme's syringe, knocking it down the endless cloud pit

The Nebula Incursionists, now reunited with their missing member Top Man, keep up the search for Gamzee, Anastasia, and the others, now with the goal of saving all the Shifters in Skystream Jungle Factory as well. To that end, they have reached a vantage point where they can easily see the entire cargo bay. They have noticed that for some reason all the containers in the Factory are being grouped together into one massive whole rather than in the usual formations...

Vyse, do we want them all clumped together like that?

That might cause a bit of grief actually. We might want to check out the main crane moving them, cuz it looks like it's just the one

"Do you think I want to be anywhere near this guy???"

Justin gestures at File, who's still having a moment.

Not sure if he's gonna be keen on getting to that crane either…

Justin's clearly pissed off. This is so annoying >:[ File is barely keeping it together. The guards seem to have their attention split - one, the bat, but two, they seem to be trying to force their way into the crane control. Odd. Why would they need to do that? With them thus distracted, taking them down is no issue. The Crane door remains locked, however

NEBULA INCURSIONISTS

EPISODE ?: THE DARING ESCAPE OF SKYSTREAM JUNGLE FACTORY

Tragedy has struck! The evil VermilineCorp has successfully captured a large number of the heroic Nebula Incursionists and the Unseen Shield, taking them to their dreaded Factory in the remote Skystream Jungle...

Unbeknownest to them, Quasar Nebula, last and first of the Convytessans, has infiltrated their stronghold, fully recovered from his battle against the All-Devourer and with new powers awakened...

At the same time, on a seperate rescue mission, Opportunity Nebula, having discovered the location of the Factory, races toward Skystream Jungle aboard the Incursionist Express, joined by a hurriedly-assembled band of allies united by the cause to rescue their captured friends...

 above a jungle of floating islands, a train materializes, having warped there

 Lower Virus! They might see us!

 Hey, did anyone else on board see that opening crawl? Like in those [THE BACK STROKE OF THE WEST] movies?

"Like in the what?"

Affirmative. There are 3 enemy vessels, all at high altitude. None appear to have detected us

Ok... so far so good...

two of them are easy to see - they're huge, and bristling with weapons. They didn't know about that 3rd one though - cloud cover

that's [ERROR: DETECTED], I need someone to man the canons

That would not be advisable. Their weapons are superior. Furthermore, they appear to be distracted with something else in the area

Plus we know where the Factory is, more or less.

Stanley motions to his lips, making a quiet face

Sneak in? You might be onto something

YES YES YES I LOVE ESPIONAGE! I LOVE SNEAKING AND TRICKERY

ElecMan pipes up from the shadowy corner he was leaning in 

a stealth mission, sounds exciting

"Are we talking stealth or 'stealth?'"

Stanley makes the quiet face again   

"Ugh, lame..."

Mr. Svarog see if you can figure out their supply lines

As they get closer, they notice what the V-Cruisers were distracted by - a bunch of smaller airships blasting at them. The V-Corp guys seem to be winning, but narrowly. Within moments a readout shows up on Virus's dashboard - with how big the V-Corp ships are, they actually can't land directly and need to be supplied. And due to the unsafe flying conditions directly above the Factory, supply shuttles can't fly directly to the V-Cruisers from the Factory. Instead they have to use a landing pad farther out and boat down... well it shows up as a river on the screen but given that they saw one flowing in a loop-the-loop on the way over here, it's probably not one of normal water - gotta love dimensional weirdness. But going along it takes the supply crafts to and from the Factory

"Hey so, quick question."

[ASK ME ANYTHING]

"Do we HAVE to bring all of them back? Like, I know this is a rescue mission but..."

“We’re not leaving someone behind out of spite. We have a mission.”

What he said!

"But what if he's tried to kill me multiple times?"

so? I tried to kill a bunch of people once but you guys still let me drive the train “Then you can settle the score another time. Right now we work for something greater.” I unfortunately must agree with Enker, this is a rescue mission, so it is of most importance that we rescue all of the captives

"But do we really have t-"

"No."

"Oh, and who are you to tell me no, little guy?"

“Drop it.”

We save them all! Plus I mighta sent Quinn's Felbat to them unrestrained so we'll need him to turn the lasers off

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT-?"

Enker didn’t seem to show any signs of aggression, thankfully, but he was rather annoyed. Oppy’s arms shift to break up any potential infighting between Enker and Justin. Notos pokes their head into the cabin. theyre in tactical gear. Svarog begins blatantly talking over Justin.

Virus opens the doors. Andes, sergeant, and esper leap into the open air and spread out, sweeping over the landscape in search of a good clearing. They eventually find one - a ways up on a hill, so landing the train won't be easy, but possible

it’s andes that spots it. the noivern calls to the other two, before winging around, coming up in front of the train’s window, and diving down to lead the train towards the clearing. Virus focuses more than she probably ever has before. With Virus's deft hand, the train lands, slightly curved like you'd see in a storybook

Now we just need a... ...craft (what do you call a craft that moves on rivers of alien liquid cloud? Who knows)

I should've asked Coral to lend me dribble is I knew we would be dealing with water, then again she probably couldn't fit all of you on her back

Our approach will differ depending on whether we wish to confront the guards directly

I don't believe confronting the guards would be beneficial, our directive is to remain hidden. Such is the nature of stealth missions

A potential approach would be to board the craft, then attack the guards at range before any alarms can be raised

Ok... let's do it...

THe more nimble (and less powered) of the gang boards without attracting attention. It's the bulkier people (especially Svarog and Enker) that prove difficult. Oppy finds a comm, sets it up, and whispers through it

New idea: Everyone who can sneak well get on, and the moment that's done we spring a pincer attack

These guards should consider: handgun. One gets got, the one standing next to him tries to shoot Justin but misses. However Justin knows the guns use lasers now! Enker drew his spear high, activating Mirror Buster, drawing the laser into him. After a moment, he fired a return shot. The guard is Bamboozled - and now gone. From the deck of the craft, Notos launches a shockwave at the back of another guard. ElecMan follows suit with his own Thunder beams, but gets slightly distracted when he sees Viper attacking with her quick boomerang. Virus also pitches in with her Gemini Laser. A swarm of missiles takes out both two guards and the pad's alarm, and a laser gun lands at Justin's feet. In a much more drastic action than anticipated, a guard leaps onto the craft and starts trying to hit Notos with some kind of shock stick. ElecMan steps into the fight, intending to assist Justin. He launches a thunder beam at the Vcorp guard from the ship. From where Clara is, she can untether the craft and guide it to the bank. She does this, beckoning Enker and Svarog to get on. Enker was quick to hop on, making sure to keep his spear raised to draw any possible fire from the others. Notos squawks, swiping back at the guard with the gauntlets’ blades. they’re playing dirty, aiming for the legs and neck. They receive sudden assistance in the form of a miniature decepticon grabbing the guard and snapping his neck

That seemed like the last of them...

Good. Justin! Hop on!

He does, or at least, tries. Unfortunately, river. Virus uses her extendo arms to pull the idiot out of the river and into the craft. As she does, she sees a few things about this odd river of some substance that looks more like flowing cloud than anything: 1. It's apparently (from the way Justin was reacting to falling in) fully breathable. 2. It - like the rest of this jungle - is floating, over what she can't tell. If one were to sink or swim low enough they would fall into open air on the bottom

Now, it says on this readout there's a check before entering the Factory. That guard's armor looks in good enough condition for one of us. The rest of us should hide in boxes

Well, except me - If there's only one guard it'll be suspicious. But I... found... a disguise…

Getting everyone aboard it, they don't set off immediately - the current running through Gear Village is unique in that every so often it switches directions. Once it's flowing toward the Factory, they set off. Out from Gear Station they go, sailing down to a massive monolith of metal and concrete stands: Skystream Jungle Factory. Once they reach one of the supports the Factory proper sits atop, Runa starts climbing up

Notos scrambles up after her, struggling a bit to get proper hold of the concrete. Hey, Justin manages to hop out without falling in the river! Good job buddy. Viper releases her Chandelure Ingrid to help her fly up instead. Remember that Suzaku Aqua? It's back. Vyse, Enrique, and Gilder are on it

It doesn't take even 10 seconds for Justin to prove he doesn't got this. On the other hand, Enker was a combat robot. Of course he could climb. ElecMan is a similar story, while not being made for combat he is certainly strong enough to scale the metal beam. Emily follows along just fine, and when it comes to climbing she just lifts one of her lower hands and Spider-Mans her way up there. When the hell did she get THAT kind of practice with her webs? Runa climbs up to a maintenance walkway, then opens the door at the end

Emily turns on her heel and continues inside, walking quickly but soundlessly. Viper follows suit, with ElecMan and Virus close behind. Justin followed, clearly a little annoyed. The main Factory is in a bit more chaos than the last time they were here. Guards run about, scrambling for weapons to beat something they seem to be having a lot of trouble with. A distant sound of Lasers resounds. As they lower from the walkway, a bunch of Guards run past, readying weapons at a door at the end of the hall, which promptly flies off its hinges as- The bat-like Pal blasts a nearby guard with an overkill-sized laser. Judging by the cloth wrap around its face, it can't see a single thing. Notos, meanwhile, is bristled up in fright, because hOLY SHIT-

"Oppy, why did you set that thing loose again?"

Well it wrecked those guards didn't it?

So, her talking = noise from the side ladder. The Pal switches attention, attempting to BLAST.

Silver psychokinetically throws the party out of the laser but into the path of V-Corp robots. Noticing this, he switches to offense, putting the group down and grabbing the bots

internally, Viper's screaming "he said the thing!!!. Getting thrown around like a tin can wasn't enjoyable for Enker, that was for certain. Felbat readies a dark blast, following the sounds. This is some fucked up echolocation. the bots land behind the Felbat, giving the group some time to run for cover. Felbat pivots, blasting these bots point blank before following up with a laser. Notos is doing literally everything possible to break line of sight (fire?) with the thing. As they run, an announcement comes over the intercom

Attention personnel! All activities on Assembly Line 3 are canceled until we can get the Demon Bear out of the area. That said, Shareholder Nicole has promised a 7 billion point bounty to whoever takes it down- oh kriff no NO-

Stanley nods. They run over to the door. As with most V-Corp stuff, most of the security is electronic. But do they anticipate little guy? Or a now less little girl thing? Of course not. But before they can hack it, Emily takes advantage of the huge Pal distraction to dash across this place like she knows it all- which, to be fair, she probably does. Better than some of the others, anyway. In a flash, she's by the cargo container the group is standing next to and accompanied by three Pokemon - Klinklang, Eelektross, Galvantula - and together they wreck it, tearing a hole in the side so Emily can rush in and grab anything of value... or anyone.

Inside the container (through the hole Emily just made) is… Anastasia! In an Anyssistant's uniform for some reason. Stanley is ecstatic, running over

Tragedy has struck! The evil VermilineCorp has successfully captured a large number of the heroic Nebula Incursionists and the Unseen Shield, taking them to their dreaded Factory in the remote Skystream Jungle...

Unbeknownest to them, Quasar Nebula, last and first of the Convytessans, has infiltrated their stronghold, fully recovered from his battle against the All-Devourer and with new powers awakened...

At the same time, on a seperate rescue mission, Opportunity Nebula, having discovered the location of the Factory, races toward Skystream Jungle aboard the Incursionist Express, joined by a hurriedly-assembled band of allies united by the cause to rescue their captured friends...

 above a jungle of floating islands, a train materializes, having warped there

 Lower Virus! They might see us!

As they get closer, they notice what the V-Cruisers were distracted by - a bunch of smaller airships blasting at them. The V-Corp guys seem to be winning, but narrowly. Within moments a readout shows up on Virus's dashboard - with how big the V-Corp ships are, they actually can't land directly and need to be supplied. And due to the unsafe flying conditions directly above the Factory, supply shuttles can't fly directly to the V-Cruisers from the Factory. Instead they have to use a landing pad farther out and boat down... well it shows up as a river on the screen but given that they saw one flowing in a loop-the-loop on the way over here, it's probably not one of normal water - gotta love dimensional weirdness. But going along it takes the supply crafts to and from the Factory

"Hey so, quick question."

"Do we HAVE to bring all of them back? Like, I know this is a rescue mission but..."

The Pal Contest had gone far better than expected, with a meeting arranged at the headquarters of the Lezarano Company on Aselia to discuss how to move forward with it - and how to best achieve peace for Pals. The Nebula Incursionists and Free Pal Alliance were flying there aboard the Incursionist Express. Vyru is hiding in a cardboard box, they don't really like being here. Lady Lily has not stopped trying to thank the Jedi, who to their credit are taking it well. Quinn remains polite, seconding Lily's thanks, pleased with how things are going. I had quite possibly the best contest I've ever done

I took Luxie to a contest, and they wanted to try the Toughness Circuit. So I entered them, and they're a natural! First place right out of the gate!

It's slow going, but they eventually reach it - the farthest point from any land on the map. Only now there is land here, somehow. They wouldn't have found it had Rairai not bonked into the side of the small island through the fog

The island is tall and flat, like a great plateau. If we didn't know any better, we'd say it was shaped like the underside of a great fang, the pointy end apparently anchored into the ocean floor impossibly far below.

But after possessing that rock, I became this creature, and after eating those treats this form became more stable and I don't feel as hungry for emotions anymore!
