What the genuine hell is going on with the predator fandom? Like both the minors and (some) adults are acting like whiny immature children and it's incredibly surprising to see for a fandom that seemed to be "more mature."

Arguing about some sexual content vs non sexual content. News flash, there is and WILL be sexual content. If you're a minor (or even an adult), then it's YOU'RE responsibility to curate your online experience. You either block, mute tags, or just keep scrolling. No one is FORCING you to interact with content you don't like or don't agree with. But on the other hand, if your work has sexual content, then it's YOU'RE responsibility to be properly tagging it.

But if you're just mad cause there's people being thirsty over the big scary aliens, then that is wholeheartedly a YOU problem and I genuinely need to ask why did you think that WOULDN'T happen. And then ask WHY you think that is a problem.

The fandom is supposed to be fun, and for everyone to find things/groups for themselves here. If you can't find the content you want, MAKE it yourself! Don't force anyone to conform to your standards or what you want. This is a space for EVERYONE. You are NOT the singular person in the whole world whose ideas, headcanons, and comforts need to be adhered to.

Last point: if you're being racist/xenophobic in any way I don't understand how you got in this fandom and then get mad at how POC coded the Yautja are, or mad that there's POC stories told in the predator universe, or generalizing the entire fandom because it fits your narrow-minded narrative of what you precieve others (+nationality groups) in the fandom are.

Or, you know, don't make the choice to look at mature content and then cry about it. 🤷

I think the issue here is one side is dogging on one for existing, while the other is clapping back on the other for voicing themselves.

I think the sexual side of the fandom needs to stop hating and forcing their opinions on the non-sexual one. Just because your side is a smaller percentage, more niche and unlikely to get as much attention, doesn't mean you get to shame people into thinking their opinion is an issue. :)

Keep your hands out of your pants for just a godamn moent and stop forcing sexual dogshit onto us.

An illustration i did for ChromaCorps 2024, an annual concept design competition held every summer! 30 days, 30 prompts, 24 hours to do each one. This was day 6. I think I made this in about 6-8 hours last year. It's a giant space knight with a black hole head and a broken constellation for a sword.
