So peeps it's been a while again, but I have some news. I'm questioning my gender. I'm still not sure who I am, if I'm a trans guy or nonbinary (because I'm still not entirely sure what I actually like and what I conditioned myself to do and like in order to mask and hide stuff, big thing for me).

Still not sure what the next steps are, like I'm thinking a wardrobe change and I really want a shorter haircut. I've actually bought a binder (ikr). Its currently scary territory, but I'm hoping I can start to get a handle on my mental health when I stop lying to myself and others.

I swear to god some people need to look up "online harrassment" laws.

Spreading lies, rumours, slander and BULLYING is punishable by law in whichever country you live in and can result in restraining orders and even jail time.

If these people carry on and heaven forbid the person they are targeting commits suicide, action can and will be taken and I sure fucking hope your parents, grandparents and future bosses find out.

Autism

I met with a friend last week, we were chatting and he mentioned that one of my traits (I can’t remember which one) was actually classed as an autistic one, and now I can't stop thinking about it. So much would make sense, but I don’t even know. What if it's just a coincidence? And now my head hurts.

Like what would I even do in this situation? I'm confused and lost.

From now on I am going to be assuming the presumption that everyone is shit. Then when an individual proves me wrong, GREAT! But if my presumption is correct, then there is less heartache on my end. Call me cold all you want, but there are too many assholes in this world and I am constantly seeing the worst of them all. This is another measure to protect myself from getting hurt.

I hope that no one would ever have to resort to this, but if you need it - you need it. My family has in the past taken in a few people who were about to be made homeless. We provided food and shelter while they sorted their circumstances out, which took about a month in all. Some people are not as lucky to have this. But remember, ending up on the streets should always be a last resort, wherever possible. 

If you live in the UK, and are about to be made homeless you should contact your local authority, who will provide emergency accommodation after assessing your circumstances. 

Stay safe guys.

What to do if you suddenly find yourself homeless

FOOD

Find your nearest food bank or mission, for food

grocery stores with free samples, bakeries + stores with day-old bread

different fast food outlets have cheaper food and will generally let you hang out for a while.

some dollar stores carry food like cans of beans or fruit

SHELTER

Sleeping at beaches during the day is a good way to avoid suspicion and harassment

sleep with your bag strapped to you, so someone can’t steal it

Some churches offer short term residence

Find your nearest homeless shelter

Look for places that are open to the public

A large dumpster near a wall can often be moved so that flipping up the lids creates an angled shelter to stay dry

HYGIENE

A membership to the YMCA is usually only 10$, which has a shower, and sometimes laundry machines and lockers.

Public libraries have bathrooms you can use

Dollar stores carry low-end soaps and deodorant etc.

Wet wipes are all purpose and a life saver

Local beaches, go for a quick swim

Some truck stops have showers you can pay for

Staying clean is the best way to prevent disease, and potentially get a job to get back on your feet

Pack 7 pairs of socks/undies, 2 outfits, and one hooded rain jacket

OTHER

first aid kit

 sunscreen

 a travel alarm clock or watch

 mylar emergency blanket

 a backpack is a must

 downgrade your cellphone to a pay as you go with top-up cards

 sleeping bag

 travel kit of toothbrush, hair brush/comb, mirror

 swiss army knife

 can opener

Let’s be honest, this is the situation where I would rather fucking kill myself than be in. Fuck everyone. Solidify the decision for me to move out why don't you?

One day at a time

If you need a reason to keep going, this is it. One day at a time, hell 5 minutes at a time if you need a smaller space of time to get through. 

“All I’ve got to do is get through this next five minutes”. Do this over and over.  You will survive this. 

You can do this.  A tiger always fights it’s hardest when backed into a corner. 

You are a warrior, fight this war. I know you're tired, I understand - I really do, but no one wants a death of a loved one. It sucks. 

All you would be doing is passing on the pain, and this war is not made for everyone. You can do this, you’ve made it this far.

Rest in Peace Nathan

Today I found out that a guy I talked to literally last week committed suicide last week. I knew he was down and I tried to talk him down, but apparently, I didn't do a good enough job. It's kinda... well I feel guilty even though it’s not my fault. The fact is, he lost his battle, his war against Depression. It is a tough war, one not made for everyone. He tried his best, and he lost anyways. 

Rest in Peace Nathan, I will always remember you for the good guy you was. The guy who was in the process of becoming a music teacher because his talent was going to waste in his average 9 to 5 job. The guy who debated with me on a regular basis because he didn't want me to become rusty in what I knew. We may have not seen eye-to-eye on certain topics, but that matters not now.  I hope you are in a better place now.
