Being shoved down into the dark and scary chasm wasn’t the best thing Nanako had been through. Being awfully aware of everything that was happening was scary. How did she deal with this other than sitting and waiting for someone. She wan’t going to fight the shadows, she hated fighting more than anything.
It didn’t take long before she found a place on a rock to rest. It was nice and simple, and she could wait for someone. At least until a shadow came up from behind her, causing her to cream in absolute shock and run away. Because of the sudden spike in fear, Nanako ran straight into someone else’s legs.
“I’m sorry,” She bowed a bit before going to look up. “I shou- Dad?!”
She couldn’t really believe much of what she was seeing, but this guy looked scarily like her dad.

Nanako really loved music. She loved dancing to it and loved watching idols on TV when she was left on her own, her favorite being her now close friend Rise-chan, but Kanamine Kitchen became another close favorite of her as of late. So when she heard a guitar and some humming she felt the need to investigate it almost instantly.
After finding the source she ended up sitting down and watching in amazement at the woman seemed to strum away at her guitar, almost in this trance like state. It was amazing.
“Really?” Her voice was filled with excitement as her eyes lit up, staring up at the woman. “Thank you! You play music very well!” Nanako smiled big and closed her eyes, trying to be very nice and encouraging.
“Oh! I’m Nanako Dojima! It’s a pleasure to meet you!” She felt it was necessary to tell her her name almost instantly if she was accidentally backstage. A quick bow of her head in respect then looking back up at the woman expectantly.
“Are you famous too? You play good like the singers on TV!”
Young life
The sound of humming could be heard from inside the lodge. A quick investigation would find a young woman also plucking at her guitar, sounding out a tune under which underlying harmonic structure would rest. And then the forms would be sorted out, leaving space for texture for the accompaniment. Or maybe just a solo piece this time.
May enjoyed pondering over these elements, wrapped up in the creation of new music into existence. This feeling always reminded her why she chose the path that she did. The indescribable feeling of the hearts echos becoming manifest through pitch and song was worth any hardship she had to face, fantastical or otherwise.
Pouring these feeling through her voice and instrument, the warm hues of the strings contrasted with her clear, bright alto as she enunciated a pleasant tune. This ended in a rudimentary cadence as she realized she had an audience.
“That was your free backstage VIP experience.” She laughed, always slightly bashful about being seen in such a personal context.

Nanako was enjoying herself finally. After a month of constant panicking she finally felt a bit safer knowing this town was full of good people, she even swore she saw Mr. Adachi at one point, although she wasn’t exactly sure herself. It’s been a while since she last saw him and dad wouldn’t say much.
Today she decided to enjoy herself by playing with some Jack’s, they were so much fun but she putting snow down her coat as she shrieked and giggled, trying to get back. A few giggles and laughs escaping as she jumped up to try and chase after them before hearing her name and a very familiar voice.
Looking she saw perhaps the most familiar face save for her own dad, there was no way she would mistake that white hair and uber-cool look! It had to be him!
“Big bro?” She asked in disbelief, pulling her dress down a little to try and shake the snow out before jumping up in excitement.
“Big bro!!!”
Completely abandoning those poor Jacks, Nanako ran up to her “brother” and clinged onto him, trying to give him a great big hug despite only going up to his hips.
She was so happy and relieved to see him, tears already starting to escape. She hadn’t seen him since that crazy vacation where she became an idol for a day, and honestly seeing him again in a place like this was so much better. Also dad wouldn’t be as mad at her as she proceeded to squeeze him tightly.
“I missed you sooo much!”
Dojima-san’s Gonna Kill Me
@everydaysgreatatjunes
Snow drifted down lightly around Narukami, reflecting the light from many of the various buildings dotting the town. He stood silently in the road, his Katana sheathed and in his hand. His gaze went from one busybody crowd to another.
It was a strange feeling, being surrounded by so many beings he once called out to as his own Personas.
I suppose they, too, have their own lives to live, he thought to himself with a smile. Just as he had that thought, a group of Jack Frosts were playing around with each other in the snow. Hee-Hoo’s and Hoo-Hee’s coming from the group. Watching them gave Yu a cheery feeling, as if their playfulness was contagious.
Upon close inspection, however, there was something off about one of the Jacks rolling around in the snow. This one was pink, with a brown hat?
No… It couldn’t be.
NANAKO?!
Narukami quickly hurried over to the group Jacks, panic apparent on his usually collected face.
“Nanako?! Is that you?” He seriously hoped he was just having a mild nightmare, having her in a place like this, all by herself, was possibly one of the scariest things that could happen.

“Stone lips.... don’t sound very good at all....” She furrowed her brow to think about that a little bit before shaking her head and sticking out her tongue.
“Boys have cooties anyways.”

“Of course! Thank you miss!” Nanako giggled slightly at the kiss on the cheek.
Mami nods and gives off a cheerful smile, she then kneels down and gives Nanako a light kiss on the cheek.
“Now I know this is a fun holiday.”

“But just be careful who you ask, okay?”

“I signed that contract though... I thought I could help dad but I didn’t know it would take me away from him.... I wanted him to be happy but he told me he would be sad if I left.....” A few tears spilled when she started thinking about her dad.
“I want to see dad again...” Sure, he was working a lot but she loved him a lot and honestly even if he wasn’t home often she still couldn’t imagine living without him.
“The people here are really nice and helped me a lot though... One even helped me out of the snow he was so kind even though I couldn’t understand him...” She sniffled and wiped away the tears, trying to be positive about the situation.
“What did you wish for, Kanji-kun? I wished dad would be happy.”
the taciturn princess and the black knight
It’s baffling to see her here, and his expression says as much. Where was Dojima-san? Was it even time for Yu-senpai to be back for a visit? No, he’d still been in school–that had been part of the reason he’d agreed to sign this contract. Not the whole reason! But, definitely part, maybe a tiny bit. School is hell.
He makees eye contact with the unicorn before approaching with care.
“…so I’m not dreamin’?” the utterance comes out before he can stop it. Sure, he’d had some pretty wild fever dreams involving people he knew in real life before but…Nanako? It just didn’t add up. Still–dream or not, he couldn’t just go leaving her by herself.
“H-Hey, you alright?” he opens his arms, closing the distance enough that she could easily and safely cross over and off of the horse. For some reason the idea of Nanako riding a unicorn was the least surprising thing about all of this.
Then her question hits him after the initial shock passes. That, and the Unicorn snorts and turns her head, giving him the evil eye for forgetting she’d asked anything at all.
Her dad and…senpai. Mad? Man, this kid’s priorities were something to be feared.
“Well it ain’t really your fault, is it?” He was gonna throttle those blue-vested punks for bringin’ a little girl into this. Just what were they thinking?! He shakes his head, giving her his best look of reassurance.
“Don’t worry about it, got it? I’ll make sure they don’t get mad. They probably just worry about you, that’s all.”

Nanako couldn’t help but notice how this guy seemed very troubled. She could understand how he probably felt, as earlier she was extremely sad and scared in this place. Even now it was nothing like home and hard to adjust to, so of course she wanted to try and make this stranger feel at least a little better.
“Excuse me mister...”
“I know it’s not much but.... this town’s really nice! Even if it’s a little scary I hope you feel better!”
That took a lot of courage, so she hoped he would take well to her attempt to make him feel better.
Indecision
@everydaysgreatatjunes
Saryuu felt troubled.
His heart and mind are in a war and he felt stuck in the middle of it. On one hand, he wants to know if the rumors are true, a side that he has particularly took to for most of his years growing up and on another hand, his past and how it relates to those kids. They have their lives ahead of them..but it was just a rumor, right?
While he was deciding to stay around in the lodge, he went to sit down around a different area to just cope with this. Feelings aren’t exactly a strong point for him, Fei was better at this. In fact, what would Fei tell him if he saw Saryuu in this mess? Would he be disappointed or something else? He isn’t sure.
He didn’t like this and doubt and guilt was swelling up inside him. It hurts.

“No, silly! Dad told me they aren’t safe! Especially since they are wild and we have no way of knowing what is in it...” Nanako giggled. She thought he was joking with her after all.
“Well... in class my teacher made us grow some grass and she told us to put it in the fridge to see what happens when it gets cold....but by the next day he ate all the grass....We never made s’mores.”
“Mine? No.” She shook her head. “I want to though so I can help big bro out and everything! Though... I still don’t know where he is... but! I’m very patient. My teacher told me I was very mature for my age and was glad that I did not mind waiting my turn!”
“What about you, do you go to school? You look like the same age as big bro.”
“He does sound cool.” There was something to be said for listening to people talk about things they were passionate about… or in this case, people they cared about. Minato couldn’t help but smile faintly when Nanako said she wanted to marry him when she was older. And of course she’d become more comfortable talking about him; he could see her relaxing already.
“Are… fridge mushrooms not edible? They are mushrooms…” Minato was pretty sure they were, at least once you prepared them. Raw mushrooms weren’t as appetizing. And he should probably not be encouraging children to eat things most people wouldn’t. The second weird habit phased him a little more, however. “What kind of science project could he eat? Did you make s’mores with solar power? I did that one once.” Most delicious A- he’d ever gotten.
Hearing he was a persona-user even before he came to this world made Minato hesitate, however. “You mean he had a persona before you came here? I didn’t realize other people had them.” Minato hadn’t heard about any other Shadow-related incidents, and he knew Mitsuru had kept tabs on them. Could it have emerged naturally somehow? Or… maybe it came later, after he was the Seal. He hadn’t figured out how long he’d been there, after all.
“Have you awakened yours, then?” He wouldn’t be happy to hear someone had allowed her to be in enough danger to activate a persona, but that also meant she would be a lot more capable of defending herself than before.

Nanako really loves growing her own food and works hard to make fresh food for her and her dad. She’s been trying to grow watermelon lately but sadly it didn’t fall through like she wanted it too...

“I... Aren’t you hard though? Bones sound painful to hug...” She sniffled.
“My dad told me not to trust strangers too... I’m sorry mister but I don’t know who you are or who Frisk is...” Nanako wrapped her jacket around her a bit tighter, her persona finally dissipating now that she didn’t feel in too much danger.
Slowly, she managed to find enough will to stand up, her leggings now wet and a little scuffed. She’d have to clean them later.
A Bright Child
☠ ➤“I have absolutely no intentions to harm a kid like you. In fact, you kinda..remind me of Frisk.. and they’re real close friends with me. Hehe.” he calmly answered. “Anyways..if you feel like it, you could hug me or whatever, anything that would make you happy.”
He felt like he needed to make it up to her. He had to. Even though, the promises..well, that’s kinda of a challenge for him, but other than that, he still had to.

Ever since she was told her mom went to Heaven, Nanako pretty much believes it’s an actual thing with all of her heart. It makes her happy knowing her mother is in a happy place now, even if she’s no longer with her and her father.
