I really believe that there is a detailed plan of action for Kaz Brekker to get over his touch aversion while Inej is captain of her ship and it goes like this

We know that kaz was able to use his grit and determination to bring himself to hold her hand. We also know that he really wants it and he wants more and inej too. I think he’s demisexual.

So every week for example kaz can have a therapy session with a heartrender. While he makes skin contact, instead of him hyperventilating, the heartrender can calm him down. And this happens over and over again until he can see that the fear is in his mind and he doesn’t need to be afraid of anything.

Over time, he’ll be able to rewire his brain the way they helped peeta in ThG by showing him good memories of katniss and then giving him a dose of morphing, like it helped a little.

He can do it y’all!

to be honest, the ending wasn't my problem. it's not a horrible way to end a show that has primarily been about a dysfunctional but loving family trying and failing to stop the apocalypse. having that family die to save the world but die together and willingly and in the end be reincarnated (ish?) as flowers under the same tree, i think that's really beautiful in a way. it's the details that fuck with me. five and lila are an insane choice, no resolution for sloane, everyone kind of just fucking off and having stories with no payoff that don't actually build to anything, ray just walking out, etc. like the last few minutes weren't the worst, it's really just everything leading up to those moments that were at best highly questionable
