PERSONAL HISTORY:
Mintz studied in the advanced course path, taking the General Scientific Placement Exam after only 3 cycles. He placed in the highest percentage, and was immediately accepted as a second class research assistant. However, he was passed from creed to creed as he was accident prone. Mintz has not caused an serious harm, he has simply has been cited as "an annoyance".
Recently, the Executive Overseer had approved the use of auxiliary lab for Syntax and reinstated Mintz as a temporary research assistant during NEBULA’S SHADOW docking period.

PERSONAL HISTORY:
Malice was Siege Leader for 4 successful planet wide takeovers, chief aerial commander for 332 missions, and dogfighter pilot in an additional 74 missions. During her enlisted time, she acted as a ground solider, specializing in the berserker style. By her decommissioning, she was celebrated as an ace pilot.
In Malice’s fifth and final run as Siege Leader, her PAK obtained extensive battle damage during the operation to take the capital city of planet “Timmunla”. The cornered enemy resorted to suicide missions and other desperate measures. Intel extracted from prisoners confirmed that the Timma had implemented planet wide explosives to trigger the thermal vents within Timmunla’s crust to erupt, destroying the Irken and Tumma forces. The Grand General of the Tumma forces held the trigger to notify their forces to take action. To counteract this plan, the irken forces decided to launch the operation to take the capital early, under prepared. By the time the irken forces had reached the Grand General’s stronghold, they had been dismissed to a signal fragmented platoon. With Malice leading the charge, the irken courageous forced their way into the stronghold. However, due to the cramped corridors and their overwhelming numbers, the nunkered Tumma were able to isolated the irkens from eachother.
Malice was able to reach the command center, but did so alone. Here is where both the Irken’s and Tumma’s records black out. Malice’s recovered PAK records indicate that she used the last of her hand-held explosives to whip out the Grand General’s guards. but took extensive physical damage during the assault. She then engaged in a duel with the Grand General [NOTE: duals are essential in Tumma culture, sourced from invader intel. This is likely why the Grand General did not call for reinforcements]. Malice was triumphant, bringing an end to conflict. However, her injuries caused her to act erratic and paranoid, barricading herself in the command center and viewing her fellow irkens as enemies, attacking them where they broke through. Her damaged PAK on top of her physical injuries left her weak and no irken were hurt.
At first, Malice was to be charged with treason and culled. But, Malice never reached trial, as the Executive Overseer personally pardoned her, citing Malice’s decorated history and exceptional skills as proof that her culling would be a detriment to the Empire [NOTE: the damage to Malice’s PAK left it unable to fully link to the IID, making it so that the lost of her physical body would result in the lost of her experiences].
Malice is currently stationed on Nectron, awaiting reassignment .

<<SUBECT: PLANET #10226 "NECTRON">>
<<CLASS: ICE GIANT>>
<<UPDATED: 5020 IMC>>
<<DESCRIPTION START>>
The planet Nectron was absorbed into imperial space in year in 0082 IMC. Nectron orginally belonged to the Taxzonian solar system, originally containing 15 orbiting satellites in total. 7 of which are planets, 4 of which are miniature planets, and 3 of which are dawf planets. As of the year 5020 IIC, the red giant Taxzon has consumed 4 of its planets, 2 of its miniature planets, and 1 of its dawf planets- placing Nectron at risk for consumption. In the year 4993 IIC, the control brains issued an order to transport Nectron to orbit the bare orange dawf start Loyanite, thus creating the Loyaniton solar system.
As of the year 5020 IIC, Nectron resides in the outer mid belt of irken imperial space. The placement of Nectron makes it at low risk of invasion from outer sources, but ideal for housing armada reserves at ready for lanch.
Nectron was orginally designated to ulitized solely as a harvesting center. Due to the ice giants make up, Nectron's main export was carbon and oxygen as a supercritical fluid putting it at great demand. While the demand for supercritical fluids has fluctuated since Nectron's first harvest, the trend line travels upwards. Nectron's mines were able to process without mishap due to its lack of organic fauna. While evidence of fossilization has been documented it the lower chambers of the mines, no alive specimens have been found. Because of its lack of organic fauna, there was no need for an invasion as typical. This severely progressed the schedule of mining operations than originally estimated.
Because of Nectron's strategic placement with irken space, Tallest Dujra issued an order to create an military base on Nectron. As the mines progressed and stripped the planet of its resources, in its wake military bases were built. As of 5020 IIC, 37% of Nectron is in military use, 45% is occupied but mines, and 18% remains untouched.
The military space of Nectron is split between heavy armada reserves and smaller elite forces, either being single vessels or company. The armada reserves occupy 78% of military space on Nectron, while the elites occupy only 22%. The armada reverses are generally stationary, only mobilizing if heavy damages are taken to the main armada forces. The elite space is in a constant state of traffic, as they use Nectron as more of a transfer center than a home base. The empire requires that the elite segment remain at no lower than 30% maximum capacity, but no singular elite vessel or company is tied to Nectron.
Because of its plentiful natural resources and strategic placement, Nectron is deemed as a significant planet within irken space. Military and mining colonies are to be established under 100% of the planet is being used efficiently. However, no recreational colonies are to be established on Nectron.

<<SUBJECT: PLANET #76665 "LASLIN">>
<<CLASS: MINIATURE PLANET>>
<<UPDATED: 2022 IMC>>
<<DESCRIPTION START>>
In the year 2022 of the Irken Imperial Calendar, the planet called Laslin entered irken controlled space. The planet was named by the inhabitants of Lurken, a planet with intelligent life that was conquered by the irken empire and forced into slavery on other planets. Laslin contained no intelligence life or life with capabilities of speech or complex social structure. Laslin was also classified as a miniture planet, ridding the line between planet and dawf planet. Due to this Laslin was deemed no a threat and left to be.
Laslin and Lurkin were the only two planets of the Iondin solar system. Its sun had degraded into an unstable neutron star at the time, too unstable and unpredictable to be of use to the irken empire. During the invasion of Lurkin all structure and signs of civilization where destroyed leaving Laslin as the only planet in the Iondin system to host life.
The nitrogen content was especially high in Laslin, which its base oceans where composed. This led to the conclusion that life on Laslin was nitrogen, however this was never full investigated or confirmed.
Laslin's oceans hosed three main lifeforms, given the names solarskimmer, glimmerfish, and steamslinkers. The solarskimmer were an amygdala of a plant and animal, both confusing the glimmerfish and seemingly photosyntheting by means of the solar waves, as Laslin had a very thin and weak atmosphere. They were larg and flat beings. The glimmerfish and shiny and slim bodies, living from near the surface to about mid range of the depth of the nitrogen oceans. It is unknown what they each. The steamslinkers lived at the bottom of the oceans. They were very large creatures and had vents on the sides of there body. They had no apparent eyes or other feathers besides the mouth and vents. Seemingly they swallowed massive amounts of liquid nitrogen and within their bodies a chemical reaction happened to create great amounts of steam. It is unknow how this gives them energy of if this is their main source of energy.
The few pieces of land exposed above the nitrogen seas were rocky and jagged, yet peppered with what seemed to be burrows leading deep underground. Deep within the tunnels there are reports of seeing lifeforms scampering away, but this is not confirmed as no land lifeform on Laslin has been captured.
There are two unnamed moons that orbit Laslin, neither bigger than a medium asteroid in diameter. The larger of the two is composed mainly of salt. The other is composed mainly of frozen nitrogen, leading to the hypothesis that it was created with the first moon impacted Laslin. Neither had shown signs of lifeforms.
Laslin, along with its moon, has been deemed insignificant. It, along with its sister planet Lurkin, will remain within the boundaries of irken space but is to have no colonies established.

<<SUBJECT: NEBULA'S SHADOW>>
<<CLASS: PROTOTYPE SCIENTIFIC VESSEL>>
<<DESCRIPTION START>>
The Nebula's Shadow is the personal vessel of the Head Imperial Scientist, designed essentially for his needs from the blueprints up. The control system differs from most smaller irken vessels, with the main controls being divided up into three console allowing for three pilot. However the Nebula's Shadow can be piloted by one but with only the basic functions engaged, unless an ace elite takes the helm.
The Nebula's Shadow is equipped with many prototype irken inventions such as the advanced camouflage veil, the suspension life support, and its scanning abilities. The advanced camouflage allows not only for the vessel to look like its environment but to shield itself from being detected as irken equipment by foreign scanners. The suspensions life support allows the containment centers in the vessel to generate an environment similar to that which subjects where taken from. The Nebula's Shadow's scanning abilities far overmatches that of any ship in the armada. While it was made for the function of finding lifeforms, its scanning abilities can pick up signatures from other ships making it ideal for stealth missions.
Because of the many prototype innovation on the vessel, it requires two power cores. There is not auxiliary power core, both are needed for the vessel to function properly.
The Nebula's Shadow downside is its lack of weapons, leaving it vulnerable to attacks as it was built for spanning and containment of lifeforms. It requires an experience pilot to outmaneuver threats if they occur. The twin power cores do allow for the vessel to have the advantage in speed, but without a skilled pilot the G force could rip the vessel apart. Because of this the Nebula's Shadow usually cruises at the irken standard speed.
The Nebula's Shadow is overall a somewhat unstable vessel, however of perfected and mass produced it could be a very effective vessel in the irken armada.

<<LOG #001>>
<<DATE: YEAR 5067 IIC>>
<<DESIGNATION: PAK #1892 "EVONII">>
<<LOG START>>
I have offical begun my exile to the edge of Irken space. My first designation is the planet #76665, formerly know as "Laslin" before capture by the irken empire. It's a small planet that has somehow attracted two moons, orbiting an unstable dying star. My mission is to determine whether to allow its neutron sun to devour Laslin or to have to transported to another solar system.
The most current irken records on Laslin date back 3045 years ago, making them a rough estimate of the current state of Laslin at best. The plant was know for its abundance liquid nitrogen in the form of vast seas covering most of the planet and its low atmospheric temperature. However, reports say the ungrounded caverns are extremely warm. Within the tunnels there was reported sightings primitive life form. Lifeforms were confirmed to live within the seas of nitrogen as well. No lifeforms where reported to live on the moons, which were composed of mainly salt plains.
Due to these reasons, at the time of record, the planet had been marked insignificant by the imperial cabinet of science due it lack of critical natural resources and low threat level to the irken expansion. Cross referencing offical imperial records from the time, the empire had an abundance of nitrogen stockpiled and was in no need to capture more nitrogen. Samples of the life forms within the seas were taken testing and confirmed suspection that they had a low intelligence level. No lifeforms within the tunnels were captured, but were suspected to hold the same level of intelligence. These factors led to the conclusion to leave the planet be and just have in within the confines of irken space.
While not assigned to, I wish to capture one of these creatures that roam the tunnels of Laslin if they still live. Their ability to live in extreme temperatures could further improvements on irken space suits and temperature control.
Before my arrival at Laslin, I am to pick up a fellow irken, currently reported to be on the planet Nectron, who has been assigned to my vessel. I've heard he's an ace pilot and more interesting a taller, one that could rival the tallest. My guess is that such an irken is being assigned to the Nebula's Shadow to prevent a coup d'etat. It will be interesting to see how such an irken reacted to being reassigned to a clearly throw away mission.

<<REQUIRES GAMMA LEVEL CERTIFICATION, ENTER IMPERIAL IDENTIFICATION TO PROCEED>>
<<RECORD START>>
<<DESIGNATION: PAK #1882 "Evonii Syntax>>
IDENTITY: UNDEFINED
formal: Head Imperial Scientist of the Irken empire
SKILLS: pioneer of modern biological warfare, proficient in engineering, average irken war training
PERSONALITY RECORD: nervous yet passionate irken, his speech patterns differ from the average irken as he has a lisp. Indifference towards the goals of the irken empire, does what he enjoys.
NOTE: Evonii's apathy towards the irken empire is of concern, possibly defective in his personality
APPEARANCE: a shorter irken, milky green eyes, face peppered with freckles.
UNIFORM: As a reward for his higher standing, a uniform is not mandated. This chosen clothes considers of yellow goggles, a black lap coat with green lining along with the irken crest on his lower back. His boot and gloves are black with green trimming, his shirt considers of green plates trimmer with black.
REASON FOR RECORD ENTRY: during an experiment to further devolve a biological virus that when released could eliminate all life within a period of time. The virus was intended to mutate until reproduction was impossible after a period of time as to control the spread of the virus. During testing, an explosion occurred in the virus containment center, releasing the virus. There are mixed reviews on what caused the explosion. Once the virus was released it killed all irken in the research decision except for Evonii. It is suppested that this incident was planned and possible a beginning of an assault on the empire.
TRAlL RESULTS: after reviewing his memory, the control brains determined he had not purposely caused the death of this peer. The control also determined that he had an unstable and volatile personality and was not fit to lead the imperial science division.
CONCLUSION: not defective, yet a possible threat to the empire. He is to be stripped of his rank of head scientist imperial scientist and exiled for the safety of the irken empire. He is to still continue his work to future the progress of the empire, if he refused he is to be deactivated.
