Which SPECIFICALLY STATES that if you are pregnant, and you have complications with that pregnancy that WILL KILL YOU. You STILL do not have the right to an abortion and WILL be charged with murder.

This is the stupidest bill I’ve ever read.

We are at a state where I have to genuinely consider moving out of Georgia because of my uterine disorder.

It is HIGHLY unlikely that I would be able to carry a fetus to term. It is HIGHLY unlikely that I would even be able to get pregnant in the first place.

It is. SO. Difficult to receive any sort of care for my disorder. Any sort of birth control that would help is very hard to get. Any options such as a hysterectomy are borderline impossible. (In Georgia I literally cannot get a hysterectomy unless I am MARRIED to a MAN and my husband signs off on it.)

I am 25 I have had this disorder my whole fucking life. It’s not just “oh I can’t get pregnant”. I am in pain so bad I cannot walk multiple times a month. The pain is not just in my stomach either, it goes all the way from my shoulders down to my knees. I get so nauseous I cannot sleep. I get so bloated that I cannot eat anything. It makes my life a living fucking hell and it is already nearly impossible to do anything about it.

Abortion laws affect the ENTIRETY of afab healthcare, not just abortion.

And let’s say by some fucking crazy instance I get pregnant despite having uterine walls that are so scarred an egg can barely stick to them. The chances of my having a miscarriage are significantly higher than me reaching a full pregnancy. The chances of that pregnancy permanently and horrendously destroying my body are extremely high.

Am I to be denied basic care because it’s too close for comfort? Am I to be labeled as a MURDERER for having a uterine disorder? Am I to be JAILED for the crime of suffering a miscarriage?

I wish every single person who is in support of this almost total abortion ban to suffer in the ways that every single woman with a uterine disorder has. I wish every single person who is in support of this to graphically suffer not only the physical pain of a miscarriage but also the full mental trauma of it as well.

These one week “boycotts” that teenagers are planning are not going to do shit stop acting like they are and stop bullying people who do not have the financial backing to participate in them.

Successful boycotts are done to hurt the companies’ bottom line. This takes MONTHS. Abstaining for a week is not going to do anything, hell abstaining for two weeks is not going to do anything. For a boycott to be successful you need terms and demands you need a community support system and you need other active political shows to stand alongside the boycott.

Stop saying “oh I won’t buy anything from Walmart this week” and patting yourself on the back like you are doing jack fucking shit.

WRITE TO YOUR SENATORS.

SPEAK AT YOUR TOWN HALLS.

VOTE FOR ALL ELECTIONS NOT JUST THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

Political activism is not swift, it takes multiple years of active advocacy and work. You will not see results quickly, but make your voice heard directly and as loudly as you can.

Do not fall into the stupid fucking rhetoric that democrats have of “well we tried & now we’ll just sit here”. PUT PRESSURE on your senators who are sitting back and refusing to do anything because they don’t want to lose their seat in office. MAKE IT KNOWN that their lack of action IS NOT GOING UNNOTICED.

Be more active in your activism.

Even if that just means writing an angry letter to your senator it will still get more done than a one week boycott.

No one deserves to be subject to the trauma and violence of the ICE raids regardless of who they voted for.

"Oh hahaha the man you voted for is deporting you, this is what you get" The person you are pointing and laughing at is still a person they are still being wronged and hurt.

We cannot stand up only for people we view as allies if our core principles are to stop violence like this and to change our government aid systems to actually help people, that goes for all people.

These are not Republican vs Democrat issues.

These are workers vs state issues.
