Man, I'm a bit underwhelmed with this last episode. The way I felt watching the first several episodes was amazing and unfortunately it didn't happen with the finale.
Normally I want a happy ending, but I think for this show I would have been fine with a darker ending to match the tone of the rest of the episodes.
I also wish it was a little longer, so the ending didn't feel too rushed and with more Great/Tyme so I could really root for their relationship.

So could this mean that Great and Tyme might die in the "original" timeline and live out their lives in the timeline we originally saw? This could be a way to get a somewhat happy ending.

Back then, I saw him as a friend. I don't know when it started. But after thinking about it, I've realized Fang has been the only one in my heart all along. When I walked, whatever I did, and wherever I went to, I thought of him. When I ordered pizza, I wanted him as my pizza topping.

What if it's not an alternate timeline and what we watched in previous episodes was a dying Great trying to rewrite the past and get to see himself have a happy ending? That's why their first time together was just lust but the new version was awkward but full of feelings.
What if we see this new version live a happy ending with Tyme but at the last second it just cuts back and the real version of Great is flat lined.

I agree because I used to think it was another timeline. But now, I think while he was dying he wanted to rewrite all the wrongs he did in the hope it would change things. Maybe he thought it would show him as a better person and he could finally have a happy ending with Tyme.
It's really sad when you think about the fact that the 2nd timeline really is all about how Great just wants that life with Tyme compared to the one he got with him in the 1st timeline where it's extremely dark and the sex was just about sex there was no feelings him correcting things all has to do with Tyme (at least that's how I'm taking it)

Tiny Little Differences Across Timelines - 4 Minutes
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1). During the dinner scene, the table settings and plates of food are swapped around/changed (i.e. wine glasses to regular glasses of water).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2). The train is missing from the confrontation scene.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3). The decorations in Fasai's father's office are different- gold vs. glass/silver (it's kinda hard to see but it's the same guy because he's wearing the same patterned undershirt).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4). The second time around, Great wears a necklace while he's rescuing Nan that is missing during the first. (However, it's possible that this is just a continuity error because otherwise most of the characters' outfits stay the same)
This is as many as I can think of/find (aside from ones that could be explained away due to events playing out differently- such as Great deciding to wear a mask in the hospital because he wants to hide his identity after the cover-up).
Anyway, let me know if anyone discovers anymore and I'll add it to this list!

"why does great care so much about tyme's grandma" he doesn't he brings her up when tyme says that he has nothing to lose because "what about your grandma" is easier to say and less loaded than "what about me"

Others pointed out that in the last few minutes of ep. 5, when the lights go on and off, there is a bruise or something that comes and goes with the lights on Tyme's nose.
So if there two timelines, this is the point where they converge and shows that even though Great made better choices he still couldn't change him getting shot.
That could also explain why we have Tongkla's story. We see him go after Title who killed his brother. And since Great was there with Title that night, Tongkla might have gone after Great and shot him.
This show's got me tweakin'

Like im not even mad at Nan for exposing Great's dad or at that lady for having Great and his mom shot or also at like great's mom who def killed korn's mom to take her place or Fasai for getting herself that ring, I support women's rights but most importantly I support their wrongs

It just annoys me how Tyme just took his grandma and left. I understand he wants to protect her but he should have thought of that before creating this revenge plan. He gets Nan involved who gets shot and beaten and she never gave him up. And he was also able to get Great on his side who goes and risks his life to save Nan and goes against his family.
