AAAA look what I found! A temporary ref sheet I did for Planet Koru in 8th grade! It’s not finished though. I haven’t done the temperature distribution yet. But basically the rays from the sun are attracted to the core of the planet since the core feeds from the sun so the temperature on the middle is the hottest. It’s like a flashlight. To make it simple: -middle: hot, desert area -edge: cold, icy area -inbetween, near desert: jungle, swamp and such -inbetween, near edge: forest, alpine forest, and such. 

There’s no season in Koru. But for those who wants to experience seasonal change should live in Koru’s dust. Koru’s dust are like mini Korus that orbits around the y axis of Koru on the surface, so they are subject to intensity change of the sun.

While the sun of Koru gives off energy to the core to keep the flat planet balanced and protected, the moon takes energy from the core. So the moon shines by itself by using the said energy, not by reflecting sun’s light. The moon needs to absorb energy from the core because the sun gives too much energy. The energy the moon takes is less than the energy given by the sun though so the excess energy always increases. Also yeah the moon is bigger than the sun. The moon shines a bit brighter than earth’s moon though.

To release the excess energy, the core sometimes releases it to the surface of Koru, making volcanoes more active, plants grow faster, etc. (I still haven’t fleshed out this part yet...)

That’s all for now. I have to study for tomorrows exam.

YES FINALLY I CAN UPLOAD THESE. I wanted to upload this like 1 month ago but either tumblr was being annoying or my internet wasn’t feeling like being reliable because I kept getting error messages lol. Anyway this is Saga’s no longer used form. Till now, it doesn’t have a proper name. I just call it the little form. Made Saga this form for disguising purpose. I don’t use this form anymore though, since she already has too much form. Probably will recycle this and make it into a new character instead. Old doodles under the cut!

The little form doesn’t have wings actually. I added them there just because I want to see how the form would look like with wings.

Those big hands aren’t’ for nothing y’know. Her main attack in this form are powerful slaps! xD

Just Cedric, running from the unknown..

Finished this yesterday at 10 PM but my slow internet refused to upload it xD Feels good to be able to draw something again x3 Thinking of redesigning my old characters that some of you, especially old watchers, probably have seen on my early deviations. Cedric's design doesn't change much though. I just changed his name from Cadmiun (which sounds like something you'd found on cigars lol) to Cedric, which is better I think. Now a little about Cedric's story... well, Cedric is a 3/4 cat, 1/4 human thing. He was the first successful experiment of Project Cethal, a project that aims to splice human with another animal. For early experiments, cats were chosen because they can be found almost everywhere. When the project was discontinued due to accusation of playing god, the rest of the experiments, which were still in development stage, were terminated. Cedric was the only survivor. Drew this 2 months ago. Forgot to upload it here.

I’ve had this species (Ruvilt(s)) since 8th grade (2010) but I never really made a proper reference for it. So here’s some design note or whatever it’s called for the Ruvilts that I drew during class breaks.

Yeah I know it’s not possible for a species to consists of reptile, bird, mammal, and insect altogether but eh I got tired of thinking about that so let’s just say it’s possible here *gets shot*

Well look who’s been drawing on practicum modules. That’s right. It’s me.

CJ redesign sketches. Shortened his “ears” and changed his body and head proportion. Looks cuter this way I think...  Rightmost pic is a sketch of baby CJ. His “ears” will grow longer and his marking will be bolder as he grow older.

Sorry for bad English. My English is getting kind of rusty.

As you can see from the dates, I drew these weeks ago but haven’t uploaded them here because I was busy with college. Anyway, here’s a brief description for each picture: #1: My characters, species swapped for fun xD Saga: wolf -> big cat Cadmiun (or Cedric I can’t decide..): cat -> dog Vincent: human -> Ruvilt CJ: Ruvilt -> human

#2: Mostly doodles of Saga.

#3: Saga’s water form redesign. Left one is the old design, redrawn. Changed her snout to be more streamlined, and changed her nostril to resemble a seal’s (can be closed underwater). I’m not sure if I’m going to get rid of her gills or not and simply give her the ability to hold her breath for an extended period of time (30 mins to an hour maybe?) . 

#4: Saga’s fire form redesign. Doesn’t change much from the old one. Tail is made of fire.

Only the second pic is related to Planet Koru/Exocore. It’s Cadmiun (going to change his name to Cedric but idk) when he first found Saga.

More doodles. I’ll try to make as many as possible (maybe a page a day?) before school starts and fills my schedule with homeworks and tests.

#1: A bear wearing a suit in various poses. The front-view one was referenced from a bear figurine that I got from my cousin’s wedding party.

#2: My characters: Saga (the wolf) and Cad (the cat). Mostly Cad though. Yeah, I know it’s a lame name. I’m going change it later.

#3: Mune and Glim from The Guardian of The Moon. I drew Sohone on the next page but it was a proportion disaster because apparently I don’t know how to draw toony bulky guys.

They’re drawn straight away with a pen because I heard it’ll help you to be more confident.
