I'm always surprised when I've -technically- done something to fill out each of the squares for every month. This year was my lowest output by far (my digital art folder is so, so bare), yet at the same time I did a lot of new things, tried new mediums or rediscovered old ones. I really thought I was going to have absolutely nothing to show for certain months (jan, april, nov) but even then i did some doodling. All of this AI imagegen bullshit has actually helped me reconnect with physical art mediums again like sculpting, block printing, and just good old sketching in a sketchbook. I even did some light comic work.

next year I'd like to really be diligent and get back to doing larger digital illustrations with more regularity and, potentially, some more comic work. But we'll see.
