Character Profile

Name: Ty Grady

Aliases/Nicknames: Tyler Beaumont, Sam Hill

Profile: Beaumont Tyler Grady was born May 27, 1974 in Bluefield, West Virginia. He joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 18 and was discharged in 2002 with the rank of Staff Sergeant. In 2003 he became a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He is suspected of being involved with unsanctioned operations, but to date no proof has surfaced. In 2008, he was partnered with Zane Garrett.

Mikey stopped him in the middle of the hall, standing in front of him with his hand on Nick’s chest. “You telling me Paddy owed you a solid? Owed you two solids?”

A slow, crooked smile spread across Nick’s face. It was his only response.

“Jesus fucking Christ, you fucking fucker,” Mikey said affectionately, and he stepped aside so they could continue on to the elevator. Kelly punched the button. Mikey pulled Nick into a hug, squeezing him tightly. “You be careful out there, huh? You left Boston to save your fucking life and then spent every fucking day trying to die.”

“Watch your fucking mouth.” Nick patted him on the back of the head, and then they released each other. “You get in trouble, you know who to call.”

“Anybody but you.”

“That’s right,” Nick drawled, and stepped into the elevator with the others. Mikey stood there grinning, his hands in his suit pockets as the doors closed.

I know everyone sees Eric Bana as Zane Garrett.....

But this is my Zane. It’s who I see when I read the series.

My versions of Julian, Cameron & Preston

I still haven`t quite made up my mind regarding the “main” characters of the “Cut & Run” universe, but the second I started reading “Warrior`s Cross” these are the actors that immediately came to my mind for these characters.

Jamie Dornan as Julian Cross

So this is probably a popular opinion but I just feel like he exudes that mysterious air that Julian is so known for plus it doesn`t hurt that he is SMOKING hot, actually irish like Julian and can do an american accent (as we can see in the Fifty Shades movies 😏)

Paul Bettany as Preston

I don`t think i`ve ever read about a character and an actor popped to my head as fast as he did when I was first introduced to Preston. I just feel like his character in the movie “Mortdecai” is so similar to Preston in the sense of his loyalty to his boss and the lengths he would go to for him (even though it`s an hilarious comedy - not something you can necessarily consider Preston as).

And last but most definitely NOT least - Tom Holland as Cameron Jacobs.

Tom Holland is just who I picture when I think of Cameron. He`s of the appropriate age, has the same build, height, hair and that boyish vibe that just makes Cameron so damn cute. Even though he`s british he can do a really good american accent (as we`ve seen in Spiderman: Homecoming) and is just overall perfect for the part, truly.

These aren`t any official cast announcements in no way, shape or form! Just the actors I pictured as these characters that I love so very much. I would love it if some fans could suggest to me who they would like to see as these characters and also who they picture as Arlo Lancaster!

Caleb Biron, The Gravedigger’s Brawl

He spoke with a cultured British accent.

Caleb was manning the bar downstairs and he greeted them wordlessly, knowing whatever he said would be lost before it got to them. He had dyed his beard jet black and shaved it into a classic split goatee, complete with pointed ends shellacked with something that made them stick out. They looked sharp enough to pierce armor. His eyes were flat black, an eerie thing since they were usually a gentle green. He had horns that appeared to be growing out of his forehead, not just sitting on a hairband or something, and they curled back and down around his ears like ram’s horns.

Ash Lucroix, The Gravedigger’s Brawl

Ash was a good-looking guy: dark curls, darker eyes, tall and wiry.

He wore a long-sleeved white dress shirt, sleeves rolled up to his wiry biceps, with black suspenders and pin-striped black trousers. His eyes were lined in heavy kohl, and when he spoke, Wyatt caught glimpses of metal on his tongue. His black hair was slicked back, long enough that it ended in riotous curls behind his ears and at the nape of his neck. He looked almost like an Old West bartender in his getup. As unusual as the total package was, it was appealing on that particular man in this particular setting. There was something very pseudo-Victorian about the whole thing.

“Sarsaparilla.” Ash had a nice drawl that Wyatt thought may have come from the Gulf Coast, dulled by years away from home.

He pulled the straw out and gave Wyatt a disarming smile. He had beautiful teeth, save for a small chip in one of his canines that gave him an impish quality. It was the only imperfection on his otherwise stunning face.

Wyatt admired the way the wiry muscles in his shoulders moved under the thin white shirt. The suspenders were . . . intriguing.

The only possible hint of his “true identity” was the tongue ring he’d been too lazy to change out.

Ash was delighted when Wyatt told him to come however he wanted, and he got quite a few compliments on the steampunk-inspired outfit he pulled together.

He had little nubs of horns under his hairline that seemed to be sprouting out of his forehead, just like Caleb’s only much smaller, and a long tail that moved with him as he danced to the music. He opened his mouth to show off his elongated canines—without any chips—and the stud in his tongue, a long black strip that held three balls and gave the impression at a glance that Ash’s tongue was forked. His clothing had an old, mottled velvet quality to it, and it seemed to fall away from him in strips but still hug close enough not to catch on his bottles. It was a brilliant outfit.

Noah Drake, The Gravedigger’s Brawl

Noah rode a motorcycle to work and his long hair was often pulled into a ponytail as he lectured. Like Wyatt, he was openly gay. And God help the poor soul who made a derogatory comment, because while Noah may have had an Ivy League degree, he also had several Krav Maga belts at home.

The guy was cute as hell. His sandy blond hair was cut short and neat, allowing him to run his fingers through it without mussing it. He had beautiful sea-blue eyes that looked like they could cut glass. He was about the same height as Ash, maybe six feet tall, and had that whole bumbling academic with pent-up sexual frustrations vibe going.

His costume from the gala was still in his office, hanging in a bag on the back of his door. It probably wasn’t appropriately gory for a party called the Gravedigger’s Brawl, but it fit and it would do well enough. He pulled out the Confederate officer’s uniform and turned it around, inspecting it for flaws. It was a perfect replica, worthy to be worn by a museum curator in a city that had once been the capital of the Confederacy.

Jensen has been mentioned in the past for Ty (for very good reasons).  First time I’ve heard Jared as Zane tho.  He definitely has the height and Sam’s got the book smarts.  I can see it :)

So like most of what I see in the Cut & Run fandom is Eric Bana and Karl Urban as Zane Garrett and Ty Grady respectively.

So this might be like unpopular opinion but I prefer imagining Zane as Jared Padalecki and Ty as Jensen Ackles, with like, certain aspects their personas as the Winchester brothers xD like I can’t even articulate it properly but to me Zane is Jared as Sam, and Ty, my adorably goofy baby boy with force reacon training, is Jensen as Dean, but they’re HUSBANDSSSS 💞💞💞
