A couple weeks ago I started a practice to get quicker at art. I failed. But in a much more real sense, I succeeded.

i really dont know what I am doing anymore. BUT I feel very encouraged to just create.

I think I have been really lost in trying to find my style and it has frozen a lot of creative growth, so I am just focused on creating right now and worrying less about the "style".

HELLDIVERS 2 COMMUNITY UI CONCEPT

This is my quick concept idea of a possible addition to increase community planning/communication.

The "COMMUNITY" tab would replace the "EFFECTS" tab in the main ship areas. It would work by displaying all the active engagements that Super Earth is dealing with. Each player would be allocated a single vote to express where they think it is best for Super Earth to send Helldivers!

The vote counts would reset each time the galactic map changed (planet liberated, successful defend, unsuccessful defend, new planet, etc.) so players could appropriately assess the best course of action.

From learning how to paint environments digitally, to trying to capture the beautiful child-like wonder that Ghibli films invoke, I challenged myself to create a Studio Ghibli inspired art piece... and it only took me a month...
