I’m sure you’re noticed I’ve done a lot more “reacting” than “doodling”, I’m sorry, I take a lot of time to paint and sometimes my painting energy just DROPS, but I gathered what I had in me to finish this painting and do justice to the beautiful angel that Cat & Niko created! Loved the makeup, I’ve noticed I tend to love any “bad and evil” makeups that contrast (such as Seaosn 9���s celestial guardians painting I did over a year ago) This time I’m aiming towards more beautiful paintings that have no outlines (though some fun doodles can still come)

Also, I haven’t had time to watch the new eps, I’m behind the Monster High episodes but I’ll be on that!

FaceOFF AllStars: EP2 LIVEBLOGGING - MEAN NEVILLE EDITION

I haven’t been able to watch ANYTHING and I’m so impatient to see who goes home

Although, Ben and Evan don’t look too good and I accidentally came across just PICTURES of them on Twitter, so I can make some conclusions that maayyyybee they were the ones eliminated? 

Who knows, let’s watch!

I did notice the lack of intro before but forgot to overreact to it

I really was wondering if someone feared McKenzie sometimes, she can be a little creepy and I like that a lot about her, she’s not just plain voice but she really sets the tone for the episode sometimes

Evan delivers confessionals so stoic and plain it actually sucks some life out of me

I mean they are both in danger of going home today and he’s like “This is the only opportunity of creating a really cool makeup we dont want to be on the bottom this week. I don’t want to go home. No. Not at all”

I think I’ve seen Melissa’s design before, in a horror challenge from season 6 I think

The one with a Teletubbie ring on the head

Okay, picture the above creature but with some gold color on top, that’s the design they’re gong for and I think it’s a good idea

It looks better than I thought but it looks so, bland and normal, specially compared to the ideas the other teams have, though sometimes that can be for the better. Their makeup has killer paintjob and details though!

The chest piece is preeeety awful though, like, really out of place awful, and it has no color

And it looks silly, yeah, it looks like they didn’t finish painting it.

It’s like something from Season 5

I like the way it goes from perfect arches to crooked putrid remains,  I love the different colored eyes and the gray pupil, it’s like something mythical. I love mythical ceratures on FaceOff. This is right up my alley!

I hope the judges love it because I do, so much

Logan and Adm’s creation is pretty awful and silly

It looks like it belongs on another challenge

The 80′s wig is pretty out of place there, too

It has some things on the face but it can’t really read that well from afar, I think it’s too skin-colored

The chest piece is cool tho

I’m not sure about the hand coming out of the neck

TEAM BLUE’S MAKEUP is also pretty great looking, great color sceme and design.

OH MY GOD, THE EYE CHEST PIECE TOTALLY WORKS

One of the most creative chest pieces for sure, man I really like this makeup as well

I’m not sure who sould be Top Spot at this point

I really like the ring on the head too, good job, Melissa and Keegs.

Team Rage made something that I presume will be safe, it’s pretty safe looking 

Team LOVE’s makeup has a GREAT color sceme but I think the wings are too high

Glenn says Team Sassy’s chest piece looks like it was just pasted with glue, it’s true

Glenn has a point in that the makeups feels very Native American, i had that on the back of my mind but didn’t know exactly what i reminded me of

I like seeing them get praised because  on other places they were so bashed, and I feel like sometimes it went too far. Like Cat had great talent but was put on a horror-themed season (and even then she failed on the most fantastical of challegnes, how ironic) but I liked her, Niko made it all the way to 4th but everyone said it was a fluke and that he got lucky everyone else just did worse than him all the time and that he was just a pretty face, but together they seem really great so far. 

It makes me feel nice, totally rooting for them

CONCLUSION:

What. a. great. episode. The first half of building and sculpting went by pretty normal, standard, almost looking like a middle of the road episode but the second half had me stitches, it was so funny and the judges seem to be enjoying themselves more and more and I love that! Neville is letting his comedic side take over, Ve Neill isn’t afraid to express how happy she feels about a makeup and Glenn makes a great stoic to contrast the funnier judges, also the makeups the teams created were astounding! Agree with the top spot, I’m so glad that Team LOVE are finding their ground and the elimination was also very fair, I thought Stella and Jasmine had some serious talent to show everyone else but I think it was the team dyamic of that season what did them in, I think they’re better individually, (Stella more so), but you gotta get with the times.

FACE OFF: ALLSTARS LIVEBLOGGING - GREEN SCREEN EDITION

I love this green screen challenge and I hope they make a comeback soon, even in this same season. Hopefully it’ll replace focus challenges, but I don’t think so. I still am unsure about the team format or how it’s going to work out in the finale, are we going to see 3 teams or 2? 6 people in a finale seems like a lot so I’m leaning towards too, but even then, will the winner be individually rewardd or do they alsp win the competition as a team? Because if it was going to be teams I’d prefer for them to bring 20 people back and ahve a higher number. Anyways, the creatures were cool, the judges are back with the sass that I missed so much and, I forgot to react to this but the friendliness is back too! When Niko was trying to open the mold, almost everyone was there to help him, there were like 6 people trying to help them, I’m glad to see it’s still so sweet and drama-free. I love art guys, thank you for it! See ya next week! On with the drawing! Also, sorry it’s late but I’ve been sick and busy with social life and school life and what not. Drawing the Face Off: All Star Cast - Gage Hubbard

Mere hours away from the new season, this is the last contestant I get to talk about, ooOOH here GOES! I can’t believe hey brought someone from Season 1 back guys, I really can’t, I loved reading that a season 1 contestant would  return and I hoped they would bring back people from seasons 2-5, I mean, old returnees I would love to see would be: Matt, Eric Fox, House, Laney, Ian, Kris, some more people tha were so talented and cool, but I’m cool with having Gage here because that would mean they brought back everyone I loved in Season 1 at least once (except Frank tho I did like him in Season). Gage was a cool dude, the first gay man to be on the show if I’m aware and he was very likeable and great, I really just wanted to hand out with him. I don’t remember anything else at the moment, I liked his style, the way he spoke and his happy attitude, I am really interested on what he will do in his Season, and how he will behave, I love him!

Drawing the Face Off: All Stars Cast - Cig Neutron 

Run through the stats, and buy fancy hats, here’s a kid, with a beard for gore makeups!

A superpowered mind, and his powerful hat eye, He’s gonna save the show from pure destruction This is the soooong of Ciggy Neutron...

I had fun doing that, I hope you get it. You know Cig’s memorable, you all know Cig’s talented, you know Cig  is SET to be a powerhouse this season, that is if he doesn’t let his mind get the best of him ‘cause he really had some wacky ideas! Which were really fun to watch! That ocean monster he made was so amazing I couldn’t believe it, his ICE FAIRY? It was BEAUTIFUL. His CLOWN made of SEWER WATER, how does one come up with such a cool idea and HOW DOES ONE IMAGINE HOW A SEWER CLOWN LOOKS LIKE SO PERFECTLY? Cig does, Cig is a god amongst all us mortals, I love him so much. It’s a shame he was in the same season as Goddess Dina, because he would for sure take it with any other combination of artists. And his personality? He was a spotlight stealer! Some say he tries too hard with his weird hats and unusual beards and there was one time he wore a vest, I think, but I found all of that really fun and cool! And to me it doesn’t matter that much if you have the talent to show them off (unlike, say Doc from the same season) I love him, I really do love him and can’t wait to see him today, at last!

Drawing the Face Off: All Stars Cast - Logan Long

Today is the big day folks! We finally get to see em all in the TV! 3 people left to have opinions on, so here’s Logan! Here’s Logan.... here’s... logan

Okay, you got me, Logan is someone I do not know what to think about, I mean he made the final three! He was for sure deserving of it and a very smart guy in designing his makeups (except in the beggining where the coaches almost chose him last lmao) His Slayer superhero was really cool (though I preferred Adam’s) and his GuardiansOfTheGalaxy-esque final team was really fun to watch, but on how he was? I don’t know if it’s my memory, the fact that it’s been so long since I’ve seen Season 8 or the fact that Season 8 wasn’t really memorable to begin with, I do not remember this guy’s personality. I remember him being serious and monotone but at the same time I’m not sure if that’s how he really was!  Well, I hope I can recall it in this season to come, cause he’s shown to be capable of doing great things!

Drawing the Face Off: All Stars Cast - Tyler Green

Tyler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there annyyyooone on Earth that hates Tyler Green and his amazing energy and ambition?? My mother loves Tyler and was the one she hoped to return when I told her about All Stars, my sister jumped and clapped when I told her Tyler was coming back, and I am so glad he’s getting this chance because I told myself way back when “Awww, it’s a shame such an energetic, happy and talented guy didn’t win, and I doubt we’ll see him again”,but I’m so DUMB! Season 6 was for the most aprt dominated by Tyler and Rashaad, Tyler was able to create really cool prosthetics and very fun ideas like his Whangdoodle and his Tree Magician (also his robot kicked ass) but Rashaad was such a consistent person and simply unrivaled in fabrication that, while close, it gave him the edge. Tyler is the best second place ever in the show apart from S3 Laura (but she got her win later on)   so, Tyler is my pick to make the final 3 again and if I bet on anyone winning, it’d be him. 

So, Tyler, best of luck, everyone loves you!

Drawing the Face Off: All Star Cast - Stella Sensel

Stella Was A Contender And She Was Always Cool I remember being sad at Stella’s elimination despite the obviousness of it, I don’t know, Stella, for me, was sure to make the final 3 with Dina and Cig, and she was so likeable and cool that I wish Drew would have gone in her spot. Since I know she can do really cool stuff I expect her to go far (if the team challenges don’t mess her up) but probably fall down short of the finale, I expect her to go in 4th or 5th place again, but, then again, I would have Stella for a lot of the season and I’m satisfied with that <3 Her alien is one of the prettiest I’ve seen and I don’t like the alien challenges that much, and I hope there’s not any animal challenges next season cause :P I remember her hybrid being on the nightmare side, albeit a bit cute. Still rooting for her all the way and if she wins, I won’t be surprised nor angry. Stella I Love You Stella I Love You Stella I Looove You

Drawing the Face Off: All Star Cast - Melissa Ebbe

Melissa’s great! Great personality, great skill, great style, all things great! There’s no way I can dislike her and she showed a powerful presence on Face Off’s recent season 10, there’s just one thing that prevented me from rooting for her to win: Rob Seal. Melissa was probably the only person who could challenge Rob Seal’s talent and I was so afraid of that because I LOVE Rob Seal and wented him to win so hard, so to see Melissa slaying the last challenges and Rob Seal seemingly going down a downward spiral was hard, but ultimately, despite being a threat to my favorite, I could never dislike Ebbe, and instead I respected her talent and tenacity. Incredibly consistent, skilled and an eye for detail, I’m not surprised Melissa was the one called back for All Stars.

Drawing the Face Off: All Stars Cast - Rachel Wagner

Rachel! Highly talented, highly creative, victim of one of the most questionable and probably controversial eliminations in Face Off. You see, despite being overshadowed by the big cast of Season 7, I liked Rachel, she was cute, had awesome ideas (like, I loved her Old Queen Monster with a mouth on her Belly idea on the monster poster challenge) and seemed to be very consistent. There are 3 people who are surprises on this cast: Cat, Keaghlan, and Rachel, but of all of ‘em, I’m counting on Rachel to step up her game the most, after all, she has really cool ideas, and her shade of pruple is fantastic :’) Also, I love her short hair now, I’m just drawing the versions I remember of all this cast.

Drawing the Face Off:All Stars Cast - Evan Hedges

To be honest I didn’t expect him to be in All Stars, and I was quite surprised to see him in the reveal when I thought I was going to see, uh, I don’t know, Meg? Scott? Yvonne? Robert Lindsay?  (Okay maybe not him) all more colorful and fun people. 

Sigh, I gotta put my Evan hate aside, he is talented and a nice person, it’s jsut that he’s pretty unspectacular and I still stand he was given a free pass to the final 3! When Scott was there!!! (incoherent rage) So, I’m watching Evan on All Stars in hopes that I can find a personality in him, cause I knoew he’s talented. I just am not rooting for him, personally

Face Off: All Stars Cast - Keaghlan Ashley

Uhm, I hope I get to know Keaghlan more in All Stars, I literally don’t remember what she did, tho I remember she got eliminated in that weird animal hybrid episode. All I can hope is that she pulls a Miranda! which can be said by like, 4 people they brought into this All Stars cast.

Drawing the Face Off: All Stars Cast - Adam Millicevic

Well, again, bashing season 8′s unmemorableness, Adam was certainly someone... memorable. Yeah, i remember some of his makeups, most of all his great superhero suit and the baby monster makeup that eliminated him, but I remember he wanted to go all out on his ideas and not hold back. I actually quite liked his baby moster makeup and thought Julian would be the one eliminated, but it didn’t happen like that. It’s cool to see him back, to see what ideas he didn’t get to make and bring some more fun and creativity to the All Star season.

Drawing the Face Off: All-Stars Cast - Emily Serpico

Make way for one of my top three contestants of all time and one of my bets to make the final 3 this season! I LOVE Emliy, love her wholeheartedly. She made my favorite Face Off makeup ever and I’m sure she will keep impressing me next season, is the pressure of competing with all stars doesn’t affect her. On one of the worst Face Off seasons, Emily stood out, at 18 years being one of the biggest talents out there and coming just short of the win. She’s talented, creative, very detail-oriented and has amazing McGyver powers that seem to save her at the last moment! For all this and more, Emily Serpico is one of my favorite ever contestants on Face Off and I’m so happy she gets a second shot.

Drawing the Face Off: All Star Cast - Jasmine Ringo

If anyone deserved a second shot at Face Off, it’d be Jasmine most of all. See, the Gauntlet was a new concept when her season arrived, nobody had ever been prepared for it and we didn’t really know who it could eliminate. Jasmine Ringo was doing really, really well, being consistently on top and winning a few challenges of her own, but when the Gauntlet came around she really, really wasn’t prepared. I’m glad to see her back because she has so much talent and she showed it, and was a really nice lady overall, the point system of the Gauntlet was a little bit confusing in the first season it was introduced, but at the end of the day, she couldn’t make one good look in 3 stages and sadly, she became the first victim of the Gauntlet.

Drawing the Face Off: All Stars Cast: George Troester III

George deserved this second shot, in a season where there were many, many standouts like Season 7, you had to have either a lot of talent or personality to really make yourself noticed. Dina brought incredible, untouchable talent, Cig brought a  balance of both, George brought big talent but even a bigger personality. This guy is just so funny and so likeable, when he went out in 4th place I was bummed! I mean, the judges even liked him so much they convinced theriselves his final makeup was a homage to Japan monsters instead of a silly squit suit. It is wha tit is.  I’m so happy to see George again, he’s probably one of the funniest contestants that’s ever appeared on Face Off (if not THE funniest) so at least the entertainment and laughs is something I can look forward next season! Love George, one of my final 3 hopes, at least hoping he’ll go far enough to wear really short tight shorts.

DRAWING THE FACE OFF: ALL STARS CAST Cat Paschen and Niko Gonzalez

I couldn’t not draw them as a pair, it’s incredible that they’re still together after having competed as a couple waay back on Season 6, and we get to see them both again! 

My sister and my mom were completely in love with Niko in Season 6, because he was cute yet adorable in a way, while I did not watch Face Off until Season 7 started, I revisited his season and got the same feeling, Niko was great, he was cute, adorable and a cool guy, just not a very skilled guy in makeups, I’m surprised he went as far as he did in Season 6, but I hope he has improved and can show us some really game-changing makeups next season. I’m excited he’s back and my family is too! I honestly missed him

With Cat, my sister was not excited at all to see her back, but I am! Ever since Miranda slayed Season 5 I am hopeful about early boots returning to play again, I just want to know that Cat was invited back because she improved and not to accompany Niko. Cat was not bad, I think she’s one of the cutest contestants of Face Off, and she had cool ideas (like, I did love her orange fairy idea and thought it was cool, bug Glenn disagreed), she just needed to execute them well and we never really saw her shine at that. If Cat’s able to pull a Miranda and kick ass in All Stars, I’ll fully love her.
