Fae smiles at his protest, happy that he didn’t think she was some dark and gloomy gray cloud. “Oh yeah I’ll be fine!” she responds, putting her book back in her satchel before slinging it over her shoulder. “I’ve been doing this since I was able to walk.” Turning her small body around on the branch she was currently on, the redhead begins her short descent down, jumping to the ground from the final branch. 

“Alrighty!” Letting out a breath,  Fae wipes her hands together before looking up at the boy before. Wow, he’s tall... And cute... Kind of like Dale... She blushes. “So, uhm, what would you like to do?” the girl asks softly, pushing a stray piece of hair behind her ear.

If you manifest your true self through nature and your normal surroundings, I find that the most eerie. Like when you see birds suddenly start flying in a different direction or when you see moths forming weird shapes, I think that’s the weirdest way to let yourself be known.

"A little.." Fae admitted shyly, her cheeks still warm in a blush that made her thankful it was dark out. An even bigger warmth spread through her body at his next words, her heart beginning to beat just a tinge faster. "You really think so?" Her words come out in an almost whisper. "Little... little shy old me?"

The redhead snuggles into his hold around her, feeling comfort in their closeness. "Oh, uhm.." Biting her lip, Fae has to think for a moment. Honestly her parents hadn't even crossed her mind through all this. "Well, you know my mom... She'll probably bake a cake for the occasion she'll be so happy," she giggles, knowing that probably isn't far from the truth. "She's always loved you as her own... And Dad... Well I dunno.. He's always joked of the possibility... And he loves you as his own too, but I'm not sure... He's not too fond of his little baby growing up, you know..." She smirks at him, showing her distaste on the issue.

Fae couldn't help but smile at the boy's words of her being a good friend, her cheeks heating up in a blush. "Thanks, Marius. And maybe... I think he just wants to be treated like a normal kid though, you know? No special treatment or anything." She shrugs, silence passing over them for a moment before sighing. "Anyway, enough about all that... You probably think I'm nothing but depressing.." She frowns, wondering if maybe he really did think that. "Uhm.. Do you mind if I get down from here? It's kind of weird me being all the way up here with you still on the ground.."

Fae sighs. "Maybe... Maybe I'm just being silly," she complies, realizing she was probably being a bit over-dramatic about this. "Sorry, I- Well sometimes I find myself being a bit protective over him, I don't really know why..." She blushes unconsciously. "There were complications with his birth when he was born, so he has some problems with his heart and lungs.. He's mostly okay really, he just.. well sometimes he just needs to be careful that he doesn't overdo it." She looks down at her feet, now dangling from the branch where she sits. "I worry about him," she admits. "He doesn't want me to, he hates when people fuss and worry over him, but I... I just can't... can't help it.."

Fae smiles, blushing. "Well I dunno, I don't... I mean I don't want to ruin.. this.. b-by, you know.. making you think I was like weird and creepy or something," she explains, tripping over her words. "I mean it was only lately that I realized I really liked you- I mean, you know, like liked you, but- yea, I always... Always thought of you as my Dale.." The redhead gazes over at him before turning her attention back to the skies. "Sometimes I found myself even getting jealous when you talked to other girls.." she confesses weakly, a soft laugh escaping her lips as she realizes then how silly she was not to see her crush before. "Oh, and I'm- I'm really happy too, by the way," she adds as an afterthought, catching his gaze again.

Fae feels her heart lightly flutter inside her chest, accompanied by what felt like butterflies deeper down in her stomach. "Oh, of course it's okay!" she answers him, although immediately feeling a bit self-conscious as she fears she seemed to eager. "I-I mean, it's... it's flattering, really," she adds in a softer voice, and blushes again. "I kind of... Well I kind of always thought you were mine, too.... Like not in a creepy possessive way of course, but... well I.... I just always kinda thought of you as my Dale, you know?" The redhead feels her lips tilt up in a soft smile, still looking into his warm, friendly eyes.

Fae looks up at this, her eyes wide and doe-like as she almost thinks she heard him wrong. "R-Really?" she asks softly, looking shyly but deeply into his pretty amber eyes.

Fae feels her cheeks heat up at Dale's words, looking down again while subconsciously biting her lip. "Yeah... Yeah that's true," she agrees softly with a smile, her hand drifting down to take gentle hold of his. "I mean we'll still go on our adventures and stuff...be in our own little world at school..." Fae wanders off a bit, a chuckle escaping her soft lips. "I mean really, it's kind of like we were a couple already," she smiles. "You know...without the whole kissing thing.." Her blush grows deeper.
