Hello, I hope you are doing well and in good health. You are my favorite Uchiha/Indra writer <3 Request where Indra is passing through Y/N’s village with his disciples and she can’t help herself from curiosity so she secretly watches him teaching ninjutsu to his disciples, beginning to learn a bit herself. However this is a misogynistic period, and women are not allowed to practice Ninjutsu and Indra catches her
AAAAAAA THANK YOU! Such an honor! (every request I receive about Indra adds years and youth to my life)❤️🩹

The afternoon air hangs thick with the scent of scorched earth and sweat. Beneath the towering pines, Indra’s disciples move in disciplined unison, their strikes sharp, their footwork precise, each one a reflection of his teachings, his control. He watches them with a gaze that never softens, never relents; perfection is the only standard he allows.
(Y/N) should not be here.
She knows this.
And yet, she lingers at the edge of the treeline, breath held, body still, watching.
She has only ever seen men wield such power, only men have been allowed to. But watching Indra now, the way his movements dictate the very air around him, the way a flick of his wrist can break an opponent’s stance, the way his presence alone shapes the battlefield… she cannot stop herself from wanting.
So she studies.
Memorizes.
Repeats each motion in the secrecy of the woods where no one will see. Her hands move as theirs do, her steps echo theirs, slower, clumsier, but improving. She listens to every command Indra gives, every correction he makes, and applies them to herself. If she cannot be taught, then she will teach herself.
But curiosity, no matter how careful, is a dangerous thing.
A crack of a branch underfoot, so small, so insignificant, yet enough.
Indra turns.
The movement is slow, deliberate, as if he already knows what he will see. And when his gaze lands on her, it is not with surprise.
It is with disappointment.
The air grows heavier. The disciples say nothing, do nothing, barely dare to breathe as their master steps forward. The space between them vanishes too quickly.
(Y/N) straightens her back, refusing to shrink beneath the weight of him. She does not regret watching, does not regret learning.
Only that she was caught.
Indra regards her for a moment that stretches too long, his unreadable gaze scanning over her hands, her stance. He has already seen everything.
A long pause.
Then—
-Pathetic.
The word lands sharper than a blade. Not because it is spoken with anger, but because it is not. It is calm, detached, as if stating a simple fact.
-Do you believe,- he continues, stepping closer, -that imitating the movements of men makes you their equal?-
She does not answer.
-Do you believe,- he repeats, gaze unyielding, -that watching from the shadows makes you worthy of standing beside them?-
Still, she does not speak.
Indra does not tolerate silence. His hand moves too fast to track, fingers seizing her wrist. Not tight, not cruel. Controlled. He lifts her hand, palm up, wrist exposed, as if inspecting a flawed weapon.
-Fragile,- he muses. -Weak.- His thumb presses against the delicate skin there, as if testing its breakability. -Your hands were made for quiet labor, not for battle.-
(Y/N) grits her teeth. She will not yield.
But Indra is not finished. His grip shifts, faster than breath, he twists her arm just enough to unbalance her, to force her knees to buckle. She barely catches herself before hitting the ground.
-You do not belong here.
He does not strike her. He does not need to. His words are the blade, the final cut.
Indra releases her as though she is nothing, as though she is beneath even punishment.
And then, as if she is no longer worth his time—
He turns away. Dismissing her.
But (Y/N) does not move.
Her pulse hammers in her throat, her wrists tingling where his grip had been; an echo of his power, an unspoken warning. She should be relieved that he disregarded her, that she is not lying on the ground in disgrace. She should be thankful.
She is not.
Indra is right about one thing—she is weak. But only in comparison to him.
And that realization fuels something inside her, something reckless. She should lower her head, retreat into the shadows where she belongs, but instead, her fingers curl into fists.
She lifts her chin.
The defiance is silent, but he feels it.
Indra does not need to see her face to sense it, does not need words to recognize when a flame refuses to die.
He stops mid-step.
His disciples remain frozen, their gazes averted, none daring to acknowledge the quiet storm brewing between them. None daring to breathe in his presence.
Slowly, he turns his head, his dark eyes catching hers with a sudden intensity.
Dangerous.
Still, she does not lower her gaze.
He should strike her for that alone. He should carve the disobedience from her bones and leave her to rot in the insignificance where she belongs.
And yet, Indra smirks.
A slow, deliberate thing. Not kind. Not warm.
Hunting.
-I see,- he murmurs, tilting his head slightly, as if regarding a specimen not yet fully understood.
The shift in the air is suffocating.
This is not the same dismissal as before. This is something else.
(Y/N) swallows, but the fire in her does not smother itself.
Indra steps forward again, and this time, he moves with the unhurried precision of a predator that already has its prey caged.
-You do not listen.
She does not move.
-You do not kneel.
She does not look away.
His fingers find her wrist again; not tight, not forceful, but calculated. A touch that lingers, a touch that assesses.
-You believe yourself capable,- he muses, voice low, dark. His grip shifts, sliding up to the delicate bones of her forearm. Not testing strength. Testing resistance.
His thumb drags against her pulse.
(Y/N) inhales sharply.
He feels it. Knows it. And it amuses him.
-You are too fragile to be a warrior,- he murmurs, but there is something in the way his fingers flex, in the way his gaze lingers over her skin.
Something that suggests he is no longer speaking only of battle.
(Y/N) clenches her jaw, refusing to react, refusing to let him see the way his proximity affects her.
Indra watches her for a long moment, then, he lets go.
A deliberate act. A deliberate distance.
But before she can breathe again, his voice reaches her, quieter this time, but no less powerful.
-If you wish to learn,- he murmurs, tilting his head slightly, -then be prepared to endure.-
And then, as if he has not just unsettled the very foundation of her world, he walks away.

Whirlpool Queen, Maelstrom King by cheshire_carroll :

Sansa remembering is an anomaly, but The North Remembers and Sansa is of the North; She Remembers.
Sansa thinks very little of this new world, or this new village she is meant to call ‘home’, but she does love her new brother, who shines so brightly the gods must surely have breathed star-fire into his bones when they created him.

But Konoha does not deserve him, and she will not let them take and take until there is nothing left of her bright brother. Sakura Haruno
• Weathering the Storm by summersirius : The lost years and everything in between. —Shikamaru/Sakura. Or
(Katsuyu does not accept Sakura as a summoner and bonds do not break no matter how much she wants them to).
• Missing Motive by AzurOwl : Of course she says no. Why would Tsunade take on a girl so clearly unmotivated and with no clan backing?
• The Nearest Star by summersirius : The quest for strength comes from the spirit or in this case, the soul. —Minato/Sakura
• Ancient History by EmptyHead : Investigating a mysterious mission payment leads Naruto to discover that Sakura has done more to protect him than he was aware of.
• the Fox, the Flower, the Kaleidoscope by shefalls (orphan_account) : After a particularly disgusting and grueling D-rank mission, a dazed Sakura agrees to go out with Naruto. It's not love at first date. It isn't even a like. But is could be, so she stays. — Naruto/Sakura
• Right Soul, Wrong Vessel by Polka_Dot: Haruno Sakura had finally given up on Sasuke and settled comfortably in her new single, independent life when Naruto cartwheeled her into the past. Not a few years no, but to the very founding of ninjutsu.

Naruto oc/si/au fanfic recs
Where Food is Best by Lady_of_War_and_Heartache : When Yusami finds out she's been dropped into the Naruto universe, she doesn't know if she should feel relieved or cheated to have missed out on all of the cool ninja stuff.
Featuring: a civilian woman beating Danzou at his own game, Naruto finding the love he's always deserved, and a hefty amount of ANBU operatives wondering if the Uchiha are accepting volunteers for that little coup/revolution
Beauty Is In the Eye of the Beholder (and so is madness) OikawaStar88 : (AU) We Were Children Yet They Expected Us To Save the World (them)
Doing the Work by MarbleGlove : There’s more to peace than the absence of war. The work is as hard and uncertain as any Shinobi mission.
AKA: A highly self-indulgent fic in which a civilian woman helps an orphaned Sasuke and winds up saving the world.
Spiral by The_Floating_World : Or Miki is in the most ridiculous situation imaginable and finds herself too tired of life's bullshit to quite care.
(Yet still somehow manages to continuously muddle her way into disaster)
beloved, once by searchingforenadi : “She had thought she would spend the whole day wondering where she went wrong. Instead, Itachi’s tired eyes reflected her own.”
The night of the Uchiha Massacre, Uchiha Miho perished under the hand of her brother. She didn’t expect to wake up, much less as an infant - again.
(SI!OC who tried and failed… and now had the unwelcome chance to try again.)
to continue being alive is also an art by rozaceous : "Wave has been nothing but a disaster since the second that Naruto had gone bleating to the Hokage about needing a mission harder than catching cats and Tazuna had walked through the door reeking of booze. Mariko had, at that point, been struck by a sudden and powerful premonition of some of the shit that Future Mariko was going to be unable to escape, and had strongly considered asking the old man if he was willing to share the contents of the bottle he was toting around."
sins of our fathers by sleepicide: “The sins of the father are to be laid upon the children.” OR;
A Hatake, an Uchiha, an Uzumaki and a civilian girl, it sounds like the start of a bad joke.

NARUTO Fanfic Recommendation
Uchiha Sasuke/Original Female Character(s)
• Gift of Acuity by gardengalaxy :
After being saved by the Uchiha Police when she was younger, this civilian girl is no longer content with sitting on the sidelines, not after seeing how much worse Konoha has gotten without them. In an act of bravery, she reaches out to Sasuke Uchiha with her suspicions of Genocide.
It changes everything.
• Just a Cloud Away by itszxya :
Sasuke Uchiha came into Himari Sato's life like a whirlwind, tilting her world in countless unexpected directions, yet somehow she was grateful for his very existence.
• Why Make Things Difficult by StarSongVII
What if the Uchiha clan massacre had been averted?
When Tsukiko wakes up in the world of Naruto, that’s her first order of business. Everything that happens after that is just a hot mess in a dumpster fire - think arranged marriages, clan politics, international politics, learning to ninja, and more. But when you get isekai’d into one of the greatest stories of all time, shouldn’t you do everything you can to change things to your liking?
The biggest problem, as far as Tsukiko's concerned, is that she never finished the original story or checked out the sequel. So she'll just have to wing it. How hard can it be?
• Devilish Whispers by OikawaStar88
Uchiha Akari wakes up with copper in her mouth and blood on her hands: a twin without her brother and a human without a heart. There's something that lingers in her mind too, cruel and cutting echoes from a lifetime ago, a wildfire in her heart that threatens everything and anything.
Perhaps her name should have been a warning, the madness that lingers in her eyes, too.
Yet no one takes heed.
(In which Uchiha Akari cares not for a world that cut her down, yet she loves her brother very much so, for she is his and he is hers. She will sooner die than not be useful.
Haven't you heard?
Madness is subjective, and the world could burn for all she cares, so long her brother wills it.)
