headcanon that playing baseball was something Tony pursued in school stemming from the sport being an activity he used to bond over with his dad—but stopped playing it ever since dad was separated from the family. Just another part of his childhood he tried so hard to leave behind in pursuit of growing up too fast (as a coping mechanism)

and that Gregory persuaded him to give it another shot later on, which he eventually did—which can also serve as a metaphor that it's the nudge he needed into warming up at being okay to just feel like being a kid again due to his ever growing friendship with someone like Gregory

It seems glitchtrap/the mimic makes gregory/ggy more. Impulsive? I wonder if that impulsiveness bleeds into gregory today. He mightve spent some of his most formative years under glitchtrap and I think it mustve affected him unintentionally
