I have decided to completely revamp the lore and it’s now a kinda nuclear robotic zombie apocalypse kinda deal!! But before I get into the lore have a redesigned Centi

Aaaah after almost a month I finally finished this!! This is probably one of the most long and detailed projects I’ve ever done let alone manage to finish 😭

basically Lostpaw finds Bonemask and the deputy Hummingsong standing over Finchstars body, this isn’t shown but he is immediately made Loststep and the new deputy despite only being 3 moons into his apprenticeship. He tries to run away eventually, but is caught by Hummingstar. StarClan tries to give him a prophecy but being wounded and feverish it turns into the most traumatic nonsensical fever dream, he wakes up alive but in a unfamiliar den :)

Making character art for my wc oc comic Time Doesn’t Heal All Wounds! First is Loststep, the new deputy of ThistleClan. Hes a timid, shy, and somewhat naive cat, which would be fine if he hadn’t been announced as ThistleClans newest apprentice two moons ago. He becomes skittish and defensive when asked about his new role, especially when Hummingstar is nearby. He’s only a minor character in TDHAW, but the sequel Red Tide War will focus more on him!

Wyvern and Onci!! Onci tends to distance herself from others, believing she is a poison to those around her. Caine makes her npc dance partners, but they always end up beheaded at the end. (Onci genuinely cannot remember why or how it happens). Wyvern is snappy and intimidating, but deep down she’s a big sofite who is very overprotective of those close to her. (She’s the mom friend Soleil wishes she could be) Caine INSISTS she’s a dragon and she’s over it

But fr this was a fun challenge! I haven’t introduced the old man yet but he is in charge of the beta testing for tadc! He only observed from a “distance”, but once things went downhill he put on a headset without deleting his memories. What he doesn’t realize is he’s only given Jane the advantage

Another tadc oc! I still need to make Jane and Amelia proper refs but I’ll probably be too busy with work the next few days 😭 anyways Soleil the silk dancer! She has the most amount of her memories out of everyone in the beta test (which isn’t really saying a lot) and while she doesn’t fully understand why she feels very intense guilt. She was the first one in the circus, and tries to act like the “mom friend” but it’s so awkward that she fails miserably at it.

I’ve been trying to add more symbolism isn’t their designs! For Soleil she is supposed to have a wolf in sheep’s clothing/sacrificial lamb kinda vibe? Her color palette is more muted since her connection the real world is stronger!

More of Jane!! This was just a little animatic but I couldn’t stop thinking of it and how it’s this 😭 Essentially Janes one of the og beta testers and one of the last ones left, she learns the truth and it finally pushes her to her breaking point. However her anger and desire to set things right stops her from fully abstracting!

Tadc ocs Jane Purr and Amelia Purrish!! They’re beta testers for tadc and willingly put on the headsets (but obviously didn’t know about the trapped for eternity with no memory) thing. They were dating in the real world, Jane put the headset on first and Amelia followed a few weeks later once she was declared missing.

*Jane convinced Caine that getting alt outfits would keep this interesting for audiences. These are their default outfits!

Jane Purrs name comes from Jane Foole, one of the first recorded female jesters, and Catherine Parr one of the queens she served. Amelia Purrish comes from Amelia Butler the first female clown in the us and Tammy Parrish who’s picture is often mistaken for Butlers!
