the crew of this spaceship is wild. we got a dragon trapped in human form, a ghost, a human from a planet where they evolved feathers instead of hair, a human with a glass hand that does something magical i think?, a human infected with spores that grow vines out of her body if she doesnt drink enough water, a horde of insects in a trenchcoat pretending to be human, and of course a dude named ed dressed as a wizard

main takeaway from isles of the emberdark is that you should bond a powerful being to destroy fascists. secondary takeaway is that HOID HAS A WIFE??? AND MAYBE KIDS????

Just finished reading Brandon Sanderson's Isles of the Emberdark and it has reaffirmed my love for Sixth of Dusk for being so absolutely hilariously unbothered by the weirdness of the Cosmere.

Dusk: *Experiences horrors beyond his comprehension* I don't get it.

Dajer: The Cosmere is far larger than your primitive brain can comprehend

Dusk: Yeah dumbass, so are some fish back home, what's your point?

Dusk: *Sees a god of myth and legend* *PICKS UP HARPOON*
