keenan knew what some of the others could be like (and it wasn't like he didn't play his own fair share of pranks) but this was no joke, at least in his opinion . he waited for a moment when nik opened his eyes and got a good look at everything, heaving a silent sigh of relief . "good . i tried to get some things that i could actually see you wearing, y'know ? " it was a good sign though that he knew nik well enough to get it right . he couldn't keep his hand from drifting up, his fingers cradling nik's cheek softly for a moment . "gotta keep you fashionable . "

            nik  couldn't  help  but  playfully  roll  his  eyes  at  keenan.  the  other's  sense  of  humor  –  always  made  him  smile  .  and  there  wasn't  a  moment  when  he  wasn't  always  cheering  nik  up  with  his  playfulness.   it  also  didn't  help  that  nik  was  cautious  cause  some  of  his  teammates  tended  to  play  one  too  many  jokes  on  him  and  a  few  others.   he  kept  his  eyes  closed  ,  only  to  feel  keenan  snap  something  around  his  left  wrist  .  and  then  came  something  cold  being  slipped  onto  his  right  pinky.  at  keenan's  words  ,  nik  reopened  his  eyes  and  looked  at  both  the  bracelet  and  ring.  lips  formed  into  a  bright  smile.  "  these  are  absolutely  perfection  ,  keenan.  "  nik  said  .  "  i  love  them  .  both  of  them  .  "

"i won't! so suspicious." keenan sighed playfully but he could understand why nik might be a bit hesitant to do something like this, especially considering some of johann's jokes. but this was no joke and he hoped that nik would like it. carefully, keenan opened a small box, gently snapping a leather bracelet around nik's left wrist (it had the bayern logo stamped on it) and then a small silver ring was added to nik's right pinky. engraved on the band were their shirt numbers. "okay. you can look now."

               while  he  trusted  keenan  a  hell  of  a  lot  ,  he  still  couldn't  help  but  be  a  tad  hesitant  to  do  what  the  other  asked.   a  small  laugh  fell  from  him  before  he  straightened  up  and  held  out  his  hand.  "  alright  ,  but  don't  make  me  regret  this  .  "  nik  replied  ,  closing  his  eyes.

keenan was surprised. while he'd definitely gotten a clap on the shoulder and such before from nik, he'd never gotten something like that before. wondering if it was wise, he turned his head just enough to kiss nik's cheek lightly. if nik wanted to, it could be shrugged off or attributed to high spirits. but it was there all the same.
