I just can't help feeling that Solas taking Lavellan's vallaslin and then leaving them is so cruel. I know he doesn't mean to be cruel. I know he doesn't even mean to do it like that; he wants to share the truth about himself, and he just can't, and it's that realization that pushes him to end the relationship, because of how close he comes to telling everything to this person he loves. I know that he loves Lavellan and wants to share just one piece of the truth, even if he can't share all of it.

He sees right away how much the revelation about the origins of the blood writing has hurt Lavellan. And if Lavellan pushes back on the idea of removing them, he drops it immediately. He never forces the issue.

But it's still such a sudden decision for Lavellan to make, after such a painful revelation. And what if they do end up regretting it? What's going to happen if they return to their clan, or try to make contact with another if Clan Lavellan has been lost? How will they begin to explain this to their fellow Dalish elves (keeping in mind that they don't yet know who Solas is)?

"I met a lone elven apostate, and it turns out he's a Dreamer, and he told me that one of our most sacred traditions is actually a mark of slavery. And I believed him. And I let him remove my vallaslin."

I think the decision might be easier for Lavellan whose clan is still alive and well, if they know they still have a home and a family to return to. For a Lavellan who has lost everything, their home, their family and friends, who has probably had to fight to maintain their identity and their beliefs in the Inquisition even if they've also made friends and found community--the choice is heartwrenching.

In taking the vallaslin, Solas takes from Lavellan the most obvious sign of Dalish identity, community, culture, and tradition. And then he breaks up with them. Lavellan can't even say "I've lost everything but at least I have you."

Every time I see gifs or videos of that scene, of Solas gently saying, "Ar lasa mala revas," literally I give you your freedom, it just breaks my heart, because I know he means it. I know he wants to give them that.

But what kind of freedom is it? And at what cost?

I got the idea from the Curator from the Dark Anthology games. I liked the idea of conscious, omniscient observer who doesn't interfere with anyone's free will but will interact with the universes local inhabitants.

He looks pretty much the same in every universe. Black hair with shaved sides, one blue eye and one red with black sclera and tailored three piece suit with black and green being the main colors with gold as the trim.

His race traits are dependent on whatever the dominant life is in whatever universe he inhabits at any given time. So, if he were in, let's say, Arlathan (Dragon Age), he would have a slender, lithe build, larger eyes, and pointed ears to better blend in with elven society. If he were to find himself on Aya (Mass Effect: Andromeda) then he would resemble an Angaran. His age, or rather the age he appears to be, could be described as indiscernible; meaning you can't really tell.

He sort of functions like an Archivist, a spirit of wisdom that once "knew all" from the Dragon Age Tresspasser DLC. He records any and all information, stories, history and important events, or rather the libraries he resides in records it all for him. Within the confines of his library, he gains the ability to "know all." Meaning that only inside his library is he omniscient. Once he leaves, he looses that ability.

Currently, he resides in Tevinter in an undiscovered, underground and very ancient library that is connected to all his other libraries across countless realities via a doorway similar to an Eluvian.

The answer to both questions:

I would have to say Curator Caos (also goes by Havoc.) I originally made him for the Ghost BC Fandom but he has since transcended and has been integrated into all my favorite Fandoms.

If given the opportunity, I will tell you all about him.

How do you think each of the Papa's and Ghouls would react/say when they find out they are going to be a father (or mother for the ghoulettes)?

There's far too many Ghouls for that. So, I'll do 3 Ghouls and 3 Papas. Hope that's ok.

Aether: When told he's going to be a father, he can barely contain his excitement. Tail wagging, ecstatic jumping in place. He has absolutely no idea how to be a father but he's determined to be the best father possible.

Mountain: Although he seems calm and content on the outside, on the inside he's freaking out. He gets every possible thing a baby could need and sets up the nursery himself. He's constantly checking and rechecking the nursery to make sure everything is in its place and everything I baby might need can be easily found.

Dew: Although, usually Dews rage and feral disposition can not be contained, when he finds out he's going to be a father, he sits down on the floor and is completely silent for hours. He ponders over the idea of being a father for a long time, unsure how to feel. However, he undoubted comes to terms with the fact that whether he likes it or not, a child will be born and it's his responsibility to take care of it.

Primo: He never thought this day would come but it did. He's overjoyed with being a father. It's the one thing he always wanted but never thought possible. He will be sure the child is well taken care of and will drop everything to be there when it is born. The child will want for naught.

Terzo: Absolutely ecstatic. Can not contain his joy. He gets the baby clothes that look just like his so that they can always be matching, the nursery is decked out in all kinds decorations and he hires several nurses and nannies to attend to every little need the child might have.

Copia: Although he is completely terrified of being a father, he knows all too well the feeling of growing up without the love of his parents and he is determined to never let his child feel that way. He assures his partner that he will be there every step of the way and he will make sure that child has every possible thing it could ever want or need. Once it is born, he will shower that kid in never ending love and affection.

I'm a little scared to ask honestly and you definitely don't have to answer this, but do you think when Tobias said "he... Or They." during the rolling stone interview, that he meant the pronoun "they" that people are interpreting? It sounds too good to be true...

I don't know. But I know that if he saw kids interpret it that way because they find some kind of comfort in it or they can relate to it somehow, he would have no issue with it whatsoever. He's a good egg.

In today's episode of Unhinged Bus People:

Here's a list of what he said and did while I was peacefully minding my own business on the bus.

1) Went on a conspiracy filled rant about how Communism is destroying the country and how its definitely not the same thing as Capitalism.

2) Said all hospitals are Communists because covid. Would not elaborate further.

3) Used air quotes around words like Communism, Capitalism, Hospitals and Covid.

4) He wasn't even talking to anyone on the bus. He was talking to the seat in front of him. Like, the literal SEAT.

5) Pulled 6 pairs of socks out of his pocket.

6) He was wearing a festive reindeer antler headband over a hat and a hoodie

7) Called me a r@p!st because the lady in front of me wouldn't get out of the way so I could get off the bus and I said "Excuse me" and he yelled "DON'T LISTEN TO HIM HE'S A FUCKING R@P!ST"
