It was only after the other pointed it out that Al actually took a second to glance down at his appearance. Wow, he'd be embarrassed, only he really didn't much care. The only person whose opinion mattered much was right here and he wouldn't think differently of him because of it.

"To be fair, this was a nice shirt." Key word here being was.

The blonde bought nice enough clothing, but he wore them ragged before tossing them. If he could sew it up or bleach out a stain, he would. Being in fights on a daily basis, he didn't really have the funds to replace them every time someone fucked it up.

"Whatever you want, as long as we can take a nap afterwards."

Honestly a valid response. When did any of the two of them plan beyond step one or two?

He flashed a sharp toothed grin, though it died fast at the sight of such tattered clothes- and were there more dark circles beneath the blond's eyes than before?

Clicking his tongue, Riel snaked his arm around Al's waist and leaned in toward him, dropping his voice to a low whisper.

"I'll take options one and two within the privacy of my bedroom, dearest. But not before I get you out of these little rags."

He straightened again and winked. "You dress like an orphan! You're lucky you've a cute, more kissable than punchable face you little fashion disaster."
