junk food is always better than no food

I’ve met people who will actually argue against this (and I suggest just blocking anyone who does) but if your choice is between going hungry and getting fast food or snack food….PLEASE JUST FEED YOURSELF. No food is actually bad enough that it’s better to skip eating entirely. Malnutrition is more dangerous, more immediately, and more long-term than any consequences of eating a damn twinkie or a cheeseburger.

Hello it’s me chavier anon again. the way people mischaracterize charles solely based on racist stereotypes from both parts of his heritage is. beyond upsetting to me. somehow he is both calm and mystical and yet also a beast with anger issues. which parts of these do come from canon (sort of) such as him being relatively quiet and him knowing when he needs to throw down but they stretch is so out of proportion and don’t even recognize that they’re doing it because of their own preconceived notions. ugh.

Charles is a really emotional guy but he’s not JUST angry, and he’s not angry just because he’s angry; he’s angry because he feels rejected and alone, or as an extension of his pre-existing grief.

Charles doesn’t know who he is, what he’s meant to do, or why he exists; and… That’s frustrating. It hurts to not have a clue about what you’re even here for.

I don’t really have much more to add, since you summed it up quite nicely.

Teach me more about Chicken Dancers please, I wish to learn

Hello there anon!!!!! Though I dance chicken myself, I don’t know everything about powwow; so some of this information may be incorrect!

Men’s Chicken is an indigenous form of dance, specifically seen in powwow; it originated with the Blackfoot and/or Cree peoples of the Northern Plains.

The moves are meant to imitate the mating dance of the prairie chicken grouse, while still keeping in rhythm with the drummers.

Even though Men’s Chicken is considered a male dance, anyone can dance it.

Regalia for Men’s Chicken is very similar to the other dances you see in powwow, following the basic premise of; a Roach, head covering (scarf, etc etc), Neck-covering (forgot what they’re called), vest, shirt, gauntlets, loin and back cloth, a Bustle (not for Grass dancers or Men’s traditional), leg coverings, and Moccasins.

However no two dancers will have the same regalia or the same style!
