This pretty, not-so-little bug was chilling by the elevator here.  Mantises are only kinda super cool, but probably should be down in a garden instead of the third floor of an apartment building waiting for the elevator.  Eventually I shooed it away so it wouldn’t be in danger of some bug-phobic person or someone’s dog thinking it was a tasty snack or something.

So for Pokemon Go.  I’m trying to log in again so I can catch pokeymanz and it’s just like NOPE.  It’s been doing this all day.. Was using the trainer club account, so was getting the verification error for a while, but now I’m not even getting that.. It’s just sitting there with a spinny wheel of doom. D: Halp.

Screwed up some perspective, so let the bird take a look.  She would prefer my Cintiq have a perch so she can judge my work all the time.

I am amused by how the camera on my phone much prefers to set the white balance based on the screen rather than the lights.  The only way she looks white right now is if she’s standing on the friggin’ screen.

When I opened the door this morning to run some errands, this itty bitty alligator lizard fell down from somewhere.  Despite being adorable, I figured I should release the little dude and let it go over at ACCD because it really should not be right next to a fairly busy four lane road.  He was all ready to go by the time I got there, and I shooed him into the leaves to go live a nice life somewhere with less four wheeled vehicles of doom.

Omg so I managed to gene up both of my nocturnes today (minus spines for both, spines whar be ye?!) and dear frelling lord their babies are gonna be gorgeous like 98% of the time.  The babies will actually have blueish spines (between mulberry and denim) once the spines gene proves it exists.  I really like the red through yellowish section of the FR color wheel.

Also Zircon (the male) is just stupid gorgeous.  I wasn't going to do gem genes on them until I saw how he looked with facet and then it just had to be -- was gonna go with current on Garnet initially and IDK what for Zircon.

So one of those things I do for fun is to cast competitive Natural Selection 2 matches.  I play it too, but don't have a team this season, so at least I get to do something and cheer on cool folks and stuff.

Anyway, omg, someone set off a huge drama bomb in chat and I'm just trying to wrap my brain around the chaos that apparently went on while I was trying to say what was going on in the actual game.  I love reading trainwreck drama but I couldn't read half of it because my IRC logs for Twitch chat cut off. D:

But still.  Omg, chat.  Why.  Whyyy.  NS2 community, why such dramaz?
