Lagonda Rapide DP2051, 1988, by Zagato. Carrozzeria Zagato has had a long relationship with Aston Martin, in 1988 they created this luxury coupé design study that was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. Zagato had obtained an engineless unnumbered rolling chassis from AML which they shortened and fitted with and angular 2 door saloon hollow body structure made of steel tubing, plywood, expanded foam and body filler with painted on windows rather than glass. The project didn't progress beyond this model
