We’re gearing up to start another ttrpg campaign and I can’t stop drawing my new character. ✨

You’ve probably noticed that the comic has been on a bit of a hiatus this year. This was mostly unintended, but as it turns out, moving a whole state plus working on some pretty big commissions takes it out of you! The comic will be returning in the next couple of weeks though, and I’ve got a backlog of scripts to work from.  HOWEVER one of the commissions I’ve been working on released last week! I was lucky enough to be able to work with @spiritspodcast to create a follow up booster back to their Major Arcana tarot deck that I illustrated last year. Julia, who has the best ideas, outlined the myth of Hades and Persephone over the suit of Cups, and then gave me free reign with the visuals!  If you have the major arcana deck (the second image), you can grab this to supplement your deck. Hello!!! You may have noticed that I went AWOL for the majority of this year. Between moving and the general slow motion train wreck that's been our country, I had to take some time away for my mental health. But I'm back!

I didn't plan for this to be my return comic, but uh, I didn't plan to get covid either, so here we are.

Given that the entirety of Tumblr has decided to form a Dracula book club, I think this comic is once again relevant.

My money is on Vlad or Nosferatu. The former because any person wearing an outfit with those buttons has to be sure of himself, and the latter because anyone with sense clears the room when they see those fingernails.
