(Miscellaneous au-based ramblings warning :) since I wasn't asked anything specific you're getting Random Thoughts. Anyway-)

how do i. Phrase things. Give me a sec. Time for a list i guess~

-the events of ch3 in this wouldn't be too different from in canon, aside from the doom board and the original game/Mantle stuff. Haven't figured out exactly how different it is yet, but that's for if I do anything more with this idea.

-battat has (almost) entirely dropped the Mike theorising (why would he need to figure it out, he's Mike now!) in favour of trying to solve... whatever knowledge he gained through the shadowcrystal. The other two picked up the Mike theory stuff in his place (despite not acting as Mike at all anymore)... possibly hoping that if they can solve something there they can help him/bring him back/however you wanna phrase it.

-the wider TV World is mostly unaware of anything happening - most of the technicians and higher-ups backstage are aware that something happened but don't know exactly what. Whether Tenna is aware of anything is... uncertain. He doesn't act all that different, but whether he genuinely hasn't realised or just thought it'd be better to not mention it isn't generally known

-the "pupil" on my shadowcrystalled design* for battat is actually a very small piece of the shadowcrystal that got stuck in there during an... Incident. I'm sure that hasn't affected his mental state at all! The other two were also injured by the crystal during the same incident, though they don't have any pieces of it. (I'll have to draw my designs for them at some point, thinking about it.)

-I have at least 3 prospective times/locations that you'd fight him in. I haven't decided yet lmao.

-battat isn't nearly as far gone as he could be. Sure he doesn't really remember nor care who he used to be and has kinda gone mad, but... there's still traces in there. (And also he's not like. Malicious or anything. Strict boss, pretty unstable, most of the techs hate him for making them work overtime constantly, and somehow even more reclusive than before, but he doesn't intentionally hurt people. ...generally.)

-the other two feel a. Not insignificant amount of guilt over supposedly letting this happen.
