So I may have missed @feuillyweek but it's always Feuilly week in my heart anyway so I don't care. Would I really miss a reason to draw Feuilly be happy and comfortable and surrounded by cats and lovers ?

(can you guess who's the missing lover ? He's currently asleep. They are clues !)

Also one of the books is a private joke with @crow-songs-at-dawn (well it's her joke and I stole it :D)

So, as you may know if you've been watching the tags, I spazzed and completely missed Feuilly Week. So, as per the poll I sent out this week, the majority of people wanted to just extend Feuilly Week through the end of November, so you have a chance to finish (or start! ;D) any works you would like to. Enough people were interested in a second Feuilly Week before next October, though, so I may consider running one in early April, perhaps? But that's not set in stone.

So, without further ado................

Hello, fellow Feuilly lovers!

Feuilly Appreciation Week is here!

All  fanworks are welcome: fanfiction, fanart, photosets, gifsets, fanmixes,  fanvids, polyvore sets, cosplay, moodboards – you name the medium, it’s  welcome.  ^_^  The only requirement is that your fanwork be centered on  Feuilly.

Gen works are welcome.  Ship works are welcome  (platonic or romantic).  As long as Feuilly plays a starring role in  whatever you’re creating, anything else can fly.  ^_^

And because this has come up a few times, yes you absolutely can tag your any works for other events for Feuilly Week as well. (For example, I think @brickrenouveautions is kicking off soon?)  The more Feuilly, the merrier!  ;D

The week will run from November 12th to November 30th.  

The tag for the week is #feuilly week or #feuillyweek (or #feuilly week 2024 / #feuillyweek2024).

I  will be doing my best to track the tag and reblog everything posted for  the week to this blog, but tags have been really dodgy since... forever... so if you really want to be sure I’ll see it, please @ this blog!

OK, the consensus seems to be that you would like to just run Feuilly Week through the end of November, which works just fine with me! I will keep a closer eye on the tags (if you really want me to find your post, please @ the @feuillyweek blog). As you probably know, tags aren't always 100% reliable, but I will watch the #feuilly week and #feuilly week 2024 tags just in case.

Since a decent number of you wanted me to run a second week, though, I will definitely consider it! Maybe sometime in April, as that would be the halfway point?

But in the meantime, you have 2 weeks left of the extended Feuilly Week and I look forward to seeing everyone's creations!

Is Feuilly week going to run again this year?

OMG, nonny, I'm so sorry, I've been a disaster this summer, and I somehow never got a notification of this ask?

But I just woke up and realized that it was mid-September and what that meant. OOPS.

So, YES, there will be a Feuilly Week this year! I'm thinking it will run from the 13th to the 19th of October, because that's when it usually runs. I hope that works for everyone and thank you for trying to remind me while I was off being a disaster. 😅

So.

I dropped the ball on this one, guys. I'm so sorry. Many many things have been going on that would make good excuses, but at the end of the day, I forgot to remind everyone about Feuilly Week and I feel terrible about it.

So, what to do?

I'm assuming everyone else is as prepared as I am, which is to say NOT AT ALL, so to buy us all a bit of time, I'm unofficially extended Feuilly Week to the end of October. I'll keep monitoring the tags and reblogging things as I see them, and hopefully that will give us all the time we need to actually make a thing.

But Feuilly was not one to be scared off by old wives’ tales.  Not when the woods called to her, sung to her, danced in her bones and made her restless with yearnings she could never put a name to but felt intensely for all of that.  So she crept along the fringes, touching the tender saplings, inhaling deep of the fallen leaves, listening as the wind ruffled the branches.

Did a little scribble for @feuillyweek ! As usual, idea started with @andersssandrew who suggested HOODIES. And since it also fits with one prompt of Misérables Month, well…

I really like the headcanon of Feuilly and Montparnasse having grown together in foster care for a few years, and consider each other brothers. Meaning they fight, bicker, and spend some down time together where they get some self-care and gossip.
