Perfection.. pure perfection.
The Retort I Was Waiting For
Tamlin: When you fuck her, have you ever noticed that little noise she makes right before she climaxes?
Feyre: With Rhys, it’s not little.

What she says: I'm fine
What she means: in ACOMAF rhysand promised he would fuck feyre against the wall and then the next time they had sex it was definitely not against the wall which was fine but then in the 600+ pages in all of ACOWAR it literally never happened and I don't understand why SJM would do this to us I feel personally betrayed and let down and more than a little disgruntled

Omg this was awesome. I legit cackled when Feyre and Mor started shooting Rhys that was amazing!!!!
Locked and Loaded
A Court of Thorns and Roses
Summary: The Inner Circle takes laser tag way too seriously. Modern AU.
Laser Tag AU
Disclaimer: I do not own the ACOTAR series.
Before she had met Rhys and his friends, Feyre had never gone to laser tag. She had never really thought about it, though, too preoccupied with classes, family, and her at-the-time (douchebag) boyfriend. Someone had brought it up to Tamlin once, when they were both still dating, and he said something about the game being childish and pointless. She hadn’t minded too much at the time, it had never really been on her bucketlist.
But after she was adopted into a certain small tight nit group of friends…

Yes! I loved the book. There were a few things that could have been done better, but there always is. She even listened to her fans, she made more characters different ethnicities and different sexualities, while it might have not been completely accurate she tried to listen and I think the things she listened to us on are the things being criticized most. I personally am in love with all her books they hit my feels in all the right way and I just love it all. I don't understand why anyone feels the need to hate on it so much it's a fiction book ie not real, so it's her reality, what she says goes because those are the rules of her world and that's how she envisioned it so there is no reason to hate.
Acowar
So after looking at #acowar, I’m honestly disappointed with the reaction. I feel like I was the only one who thoroughly enjoyed it.
Well done, Sarah. Don’t let people who thought they could write you’re story better than you affect you. I read you’re books to hear the story you were/are to tell. I think too many people forget that.
Thank you, for sharing, Sarah.

This but gosh I still don't like him. I did feel really bad seeing all the crap she brought down on him but I still kinda liked it a little. I do like how she shows that there are bad things that could happen because of your actions though.
I really hope I don’t get hate for this
I understand Tamlin. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t quite forgive him for everything that happened, but make no mistake his character was real. It wasn’t some “Big Bad” or “Pure Evil”. He was a gray character. Like, most everyone in the series. The bad guys could get you to root for them, the good guys could make you cringe at them. While I’ll admit I didn’t like it with certain characters(huhu Aedion), they felt so real then. Tamlin was doing what he’s always been doing. Protecting. Ferociously protecting. Yes, he was protecting someone who didn’t want to be protected, and yes he is Sarah’s personal version of Gothel from Tangled singing “Mother knows Best” but damn, the things that happened in ACOWAR… I felt bad for him. And wishing Feyre happiness? I broke.
More than anything though, I salute Sarah for always making these amazing characters. I mean, I was SO into Feyre just burning everything to the ground with the Spring Court–
But when you start to see all those repercussions?… Hot damn.
He says a line that goes, “I once told you I would fight against this” or something and it felt like he was also telling me, “You forgot such a crucial part of who I am. You forgot the good in me.”
And I could feel the guilt seeping in my bones.

Honestly what I don’t get is that why people are criticising SJM’s plot line and story. All revolve around the way Morrigan is closeted and has been abused and how Rhys is “supposedly” a feminist.
People are repeatedly saying that SJM has written a world with fae and it’s fantasy and that she could’ve written a world with no judgements. Honestly? It’s how everything and everyone functions. People always judge and it’s beautiful how SJM actually brought that out with a FANTASY book. She keeps making Feyre bring out the similarities between the fae and humans, and how they are more or less the same in behavior. It’s HER novel and HER world. How is it anyone’s place to criticize the world she has created?
Second, yes… Morrigan is a survivor of abuse and she has been treated terribly. Sarah J Maas did NOT try to justify abuse. Nowhere is it written that it was OK. In fact, abusive relationships are looked down upon by every character in the series. The fact that someone thinks that Rhys is a “pretend” feminist is funny. What has he ever, ever, done that could point in the other direction? Yes it was horrible for him to bring and ally himself with his Cousin’s abuser but that’s what SJM tried to bring out. That not every character is flawless. It was literally war. People are thinking in terms of OUR lives. Are those people or rather, fae and illyrians, living a life like ours? There are similar things, yes. But it was literally a war and he did it to ensure they won. He made a mistake but it was for his people. The fact the illyrian ladies not fighting makes sense when you actually read carefully. As much as Rhys tried to get them to train, the lords wouldn’t have it. He didn’t want them to go into war without proper training. But they’d received training so he let them fight. Those were HIS people. He LITERALLY gave his life for them. It is insulting to both SJM and her characters to call them ignorant to abuse and anti feminist. Finally, I think it’s a great book. With realistic problems, realistic characters (maybe not because Rhys Goddamn) and intricate personalities. People should look deeper instead of being quick to criticize. Yes, she is a professional. No, she didn’t promote abuse. She stopped it in the second book and made us aware of what it can do to you. She is a lovely author and does not deserve the unnecessary hate.
