Review: The Wicked Whims

The Wicked Whims - Diablos LB W5 P58 (NE Subdivision) - Th 8pm-11pm EST Website N/A - Discord Date visited: 7-9-2020

Basic rundown: Date opened- May 21st, 2020 Plot size- large Themes- 18+, dance club, casino, pride

Environment: Outside- "Portal to ecstasy" plant tunnel to entrance. plant decorations are pretty, though a bit hard to navigate without feeling claustrophobic Lighting- yellow standing lamps, and Shiva chandelier downstairs, main floor has wall mounted lights and sunlight through windows Decoration- black and red themed furniture, gold walls in places, and pride colors thrown in Seating- red/black couches to view stages, and rainbow stools at the bar Defined sections- dance floor downstairs, with dance stages in a U around it, front desk and casino on main floor Spacing- line of couches alternating between red and black, large open dance floor, wall for bar, casino is entered through small hole in wall, and front desk before stairs Use of different levels/loft space- downstairs starts with a long hallway, lofts make downstairs look a little cramped. main floor has casino room to the left.

Atmosphere/Vibe: Staff roles- bouncer, dancer, bartender, casino master, photographer, and escorts Staff interactions- managers were lovely to meet with, and the staff were very nice How welcoming- felt like we could walk right on in Hello's/goodbye's- greeted at the door via DM, greeters try to dote as people leave Patrons- prohibited from use of weapons and minions. patrons seem respectful Live performances/playlists- Nothing currently, plan on bard in the future

Menu/Bar Info: Link- N/A atm Variety- alcoholic, non-alcoholic (specify for it), and food Price range- 5k-8k Bonus items- 100k "Specialty Drink" Number of bars- one long bar

Reservations/Services: Estate- 500k per hour, 50k per dancer/bartender/bouncer hired to work event, free venue appearance change Staff (in house)- photography session (30k starting rate before added requests, includes 1-2 unique shots during club hours) Staff (private)- private dance (50k per half hour, 100k for an hour, and 20k every 10 mins over), private ERP session (100k per half hour, 200k for an hour, and 25k every 10 mins over) Staff (after hours)- photography sessions (150k per hour before added requests), private dances/sessions unknown Raffles- 15k per ticket raffle VIP- unknown

Likes: - Plant decorations covering the majority of the main floor is very beautiful - Staff is courteous and responsive - The dance floor is extremely inviting for patrons to hang out for a while and chat with others - Manager gave me and my friend a private room with him to conduct part of the review

Dislikes: - Spacing is a bit of an issue for stages due to rafters, and the casino portion. - Outside path is a bit difficult to navigate/see through

Extra: What they plan to improve- creating a carrd/website, and plan on bard performances in the future Average staff count per shift- 15-20 Staff wages- 20k per hour, keep percentage of services provided, drink prices go back to house Other- give out free cookies sometimes haha

Final thoughts/Rating: 8/10 The decorations are beautiful, the layout could use a little touching up to feel more inviting, and the staff and management clearly care about the establishment. I can feel this is a welcoming estate with a lot of potential, and I am excited to see what they can accomplish.

Hello one and all from the furthest reaches of Eorzea, and welcome to Interworld Reviewers! A little run down of what I plan to do with this blog: -I plan to use this space to express my first impressions and interactions with the role play establishments within FFXIV. This will primarily be on the Crystal DC due to that being where I have my character. On occasion, I might try visiting over data centers, for now Crystal is where I plan to review the most. -Each review will host a few different topics of discussion, over the basic information I intend to fill out (environment, atmosphere/vibe, etc.) -Though Tumblr is new to me, I hope to use it well and for these reviews to be posted and seen with ease. -If you are from an estate and would like a formal review, please feel free to send me a message with your in game name, the name of the estate, it’s location/schedule, and and basic information about what to expect. I’d love to get more variety in estates I visit! A little about myself: I have been playing FFXIV for over 2 years, and have found many new friends and connections through my time here. I am on the world Brynhilder, and my current main class is PLD, but I focus more on culinarian than fighting in my free time. This reviewing thing at first was more to keep track of establishment schedules and weblinks, now it’s become a bit of a passion project, and I hope to entertain through every post while remaining informative.
