Okay, for Allane she loves helping people and trying to fix things. Even when those things tend to overwhelm her. Her brother is more calm about it. Auvert just takes it one day at a time. Sasaku spends her time worrying about the others constantly and Ozah'ra gets overwhelmed like Allane does, but more intense since he is younger. He is much like his love Alphie in that reguard.

All in all they love helping others more then themselves ...that tends to be a trait in all of them now that I think on it. 😅

Texas Republicans are now trying to pass Bill SB1646, which would remove transgender minors from parents who affirm their gender and support them getting proper transition care.

I repeat, they are trying to criminalize parents supporting their trans children and make it legally child abuse, and a removable offense

Valentione's Day

This is the sister ffxiv oc fic to the one @bard-of-light did for Allane, so mine is for Mehna. Hopefully it goes well I really worked at it.

The world is as hers was with her wol Mehna and all our other oc's have the Echo.

It was quiet today and the most freetime anyone has had in awhile. Laying on the bed, Mehna now had time to actually gather her thoughts for once.

"It just had to be today didn't it? I should ...do something for Ali, but what?"

Mehna's ears reflected her mood as they droop a bit. Sighing in defeat she decides to just go for a walk and pray an idea comes to mind.

Nothing is ever simple is it?

Walking along the Rising Stones, Mehna makes note of other couples doing couple things.

Isert was busy trying to flex for Estinien again and she chucked to herself as the elder dragoon just pushed him away playfully. Again, not surprising with those two she thought.

She saw Lyse and Inako busy training Ozah'ra with a bemused Alphinaud watching intently. Yep. Even Alphinaud was sneaking kisses during the training. She'd have to tease him about his non existant sneak attempts later.

Turning toward the tables, she noted her brother and G'Raha cuddling on the chairs. 'Typical Ewe'ya, show off that he is.' She thought, tail swishing a bit in annoyance.

Lost as she was in her own thoughts Mehna didn't see as someone bumped into her.

Oof.

"Whoa there you are! I've been looking for you everywhere Mehna." Alisaie mutters as she dusts herself off.

"I got worried you were off brooding by yourself again. So I came to keep you company, and yes you do brood so don't even say you don't." She finishes as a playfull smirk tugs at her lips.

'Damn it, she's being cute.'

Clearing her throat, Mehna pouts a bit. "I do not brood well at least not often. Plus you brood every now and then too Ali."

Alisaie huffs. "Really Mehna you must have a better come back than that." She remarks, jumping a bit as Ewe'ya hugs you both from behind.

"You two could be broody soulmates." Smirking as he dodges Alisaie's punch. "Ha! You missed- oof!..." He exclaims as Mehna's tail side sweeps him making him fall.

"Would you stop it already you know how I am about sudden contact. At least you should know anyway."

If glares could kill, or in this case maim... 'Playfully of course.' her inner voice added. "So go away brother...now." Ewe'ya pouts indignantly. "Oh fine I'll leave you two love birds alone." He chuckles while dodging both yours and Alisaie's punches.

Scoffing Alisaie turns to you. "Your bother is a little shit Mehna. Just like mine, shall we beat them up later?"

'A tempting offer'

Mehna sighed as they walked along together, no real direction in mind.

"No no best to not give him attention it would just go to his head." Alisaie did her best mock-shocked impression. "Oh no we definately don't want that."

A moment of silence passes.

"So...on a more serious note, I have a present for you. Well, more like a confession really." Alisaie pauses, looking a bit red in the face. "Damn I always fail at expressing my feelings. I would like to... go out with you Mehna. Just you. For ...Valentione's Day..."

There it is! The cute! Say something...

'Anything!'

Mehna was unprepared again and just nods to her.

"Y-yea I'd like that Ali no, I'd love it. Where would you like to go?" She asks finally, excitedly taking Alisaie's hands in hers. Alisaie thought for a moment then looks at you eyes on yours.

"I seem to recall that hotspring we won tickets for but never went to. We should go there."

Mehna beams at her. "You know I completely forgot about that. I have been wanting a vacation of sorts." Alisaie smiles back at her while kissing her cheek. "We should pack then, and I can finally wear that present for you." She says while smirking.

"What present is that love?" Mehna asks completely oblivious.

"Really Mehna must I flirt harder?" Alisaie asks as she whispers something in Mehna's ear. The result of which had the young warrior blush red and giggle like a little kid.

"Happy Valentione's Day Ali ... I know I don't deserve you."

Alisaie proceeds to hold Mehna by the ear and scold her. "Mehna...none of that you promised." Mehna whines. "Okay okay! I won't say it again."

Alisaie smiles in triumph.

"Good. And yes Mehna, Happy Valentione's Day."

A passionate kiss follows as the sun sets in the distance. A truly happy day at last, after everything...

A very good day indeed.
