can i talk about how well bridgette and felix's outfits match each other? and just how good their outfits are?

like, yes there is a big difference. felix is on the extreme side of proper fancy and professional—he literally wears a suit on a daily basis to school.

however, i'd say bridgette's slightly unconventional as well. her casual fit includes jeans shorts and a small jacket. but she is also wearing a white polo shirt, which i'd argue can be smart-looking, and a pair of brown brogues. so i'd say bridgette is smart casual.

something about these two just makes me go "yeah, they suit each other". not in terms of physical appearance or personality or interests, but the way they dress. like look at the two ppl behind them, they're both wearing very casual clothes but are slightly different, and yet they suit each other.

like if bridgette, as a fashion designer, wore full on fitted outfits that are unique and colourful, or even something simpler like hoodies, she would contrast felix massively. but because the only colour that pops out is her blue jeans, which matches her eyes, she doesn't look that different from felix. likewise felix's grey shirt matches his grey eyes. the two match each other pretty well.

and even tho bridgette's is more on the casual side, her clothes are drawn to be very sharp and angular, which shows her bubbly personality. even her shirt is oversized, which shows she is more carefree. her jacket sleeves are pulled up to show she is physical and hands-on. contrasting this, felix's is very fitted to his body showcasing the kind of person he is: strict, neat, organised, professional. he's always serious. bridgette doesn't button her shirt, felix has a tie , showing how the levels of comfort they feel.

but amongst all, they still suit each other. somehow.

I like toxic yuri a normal amount and I believe that Musa has a bit of bad luck when it comes to partners, Riven being the first example. I'm all for two bissexuals getting into a messy relationship that clearly has no way of working out

Hehe I'm glad some people noticed! Musa in her original design already had the armband, while I was drawing I noticed that it matched Darcy's purple aesthetic and so I gave her a hot pink armband to compliment with Musa's

sometimes i think i have a fear of commitment but then i remember that i serve a fandom that is technically a subfandom for a concept that never went through, with a 3 minute video and a song.

and no matter how many times i move on, i always come back. it's been... six years for me.

darmusa headcanons because i cannot sleep:

darcy secretly likes and listens to opera, but is ashamed of it. when musa found out, she was ecstatic to have something in common with her—music. so forth comes theatre and musical dates.

sometimes during these dates, when darcy gets bored during songs she doesn't vibe with, she'll play a little magic trick with the actors/singers for fun. musa doesn't know. she just thinks how creative it is for the performances to include something new and dofferent (yet dangerous) each time to keep the excitement going.

darcy surprisingly REALLY cares about her own appearance, and has a habit of consistently rubbing dirt or dust off her clothes to keep herself clean. whereas, musa doesn't care as much about getting her clothes dirty because of her tomboy nature.

however, since dating darcy, she has gained an interest in dressing up for darcy. it's helped her get closer to stella.

musa only wears girly clothes (skirts, dresses, heels, nails etc.) for darcy because darcy likes to be the one wearing the pants in this relationship.

it's known that musa is incredibly insecure in herself. however, darcy doesn't care about musa's flaws. she's also expressed this many times and states that she likes musa because of the way she is. sometimes annoying. sometimes too kind for her own good. but she likes that musa is quiet yet passionate about her own interests.

darcy also finds that she relates to musa. she's the most quiet of the trix (though it's because she's always planning), and she finds that she doesn't get the spotlight as much. seeing musa being her equivalent in the winx made her take an interest in the music fairy.

it helps that neither of them are big into PDA.

out of all her friends, musa hates stormy the most because they have a lot of cat fights for some reason. darcy hates stella because she claims stella is the most annoying of all the winx. they both take the time to defend their own friends respectively.

being the witch of darkness, darcy can easily see things in the dark with the help of her powers. but since musa has really pale skin, she doesn't have to try to find musa. darcy loves this detail because it's almost like musa is the light of her life.

whenever musa, the winx and the specialists go on shared missions and riven acts out, musa would later gossip with darcy about it. they both gossip about their shared ex whenever they can and they love doing it.

when the winx are faced with the trix, darcy would single musa out into another, more secluded area. then they would spend their time talking and chilling instead of fighting just to catch up.

both musa and darcy are academic weapons. the only difference is that musa has to study and practise her spells a lot, whereas darcy doesn't study and can master a spell on the first try. darcy brags about her superiority with this one.

even though darcy is the top in the relationship, musa tends to make the first move.

Musa x Darcy Headcannons

~ Both of them go shopping together quite a lot at the mall. Darcy to get things for potions, books, clothes and things like that. Musa to get music sheets or CDs. Both of them are willingly dragged to each other's interests and just watch with a smile as the other finds some good things in the store.

~ Musa rambles quite a bit daily. Not really about one thing, but get her talking about a story and she will just go into every detail. Like a boomer mom, but in a fun way. Darcy is listening, but god her brain is about to explode and her eye is twitching like please get to the point Musa.

~ Darcy, on the other hand, doesn't really ramble. She says things that are to the point. But get her talking about witchcraft and how it works, and she's already pulled up a blackboard and is happily talking with a small smile on her face.

~ When the two of them hang out, it's very much an introvert hangout. They talk/rant about the things they want to talk about, and then Musa practices on her instruments and Darcy draws or something, and then short conversations are started in between.

~ Musa is an introvert who is an extrovert with the right people/people in general and is outgoing but has a low af social battery. She'll be enjoying hanging out with people for a few hours, when suddenly, she's just like, "Why do I want them to leave/why do I want to leave?"

~ Darcy is very obviously an introvert, unlike Musa who people think is an extrovert. Regardless of whether she likes someone or not, if she's tired and doesn't want to talk, she'll talk less.

~ Tecna and Bloom introduced Musa to some video games, so Musa decides at one point to see how Darcy does with them. Musa doesn't choose Mariokart or the Legend of Zelda, she chooses the most frightening horror game possible.

~ Musa loves horror games/movies and is completely desensitized to them. Gorry ones and all of that. But psychological horror that makes you question your life and sanity forces her to burrito herself into a blanket at night to try to fall asleep (also with Darcy spooning her).

~ Darcy doesn't outright love horror like Musa does, but then again, there are very few movies or TV shows that get her to pay full attention without her having to draw while watching it or something. If someone is watching with her, then she'll pay attention.

~ Darcy enjoys watching horror movies with Musa, and either normal horror or psychological horror won't scare her. The thing that gets Darcy though are jump scares, and she'll flinch like hell during them. That's why Musa choosing a horror video game hardly went well. Darcy's heart rate after that was insane.

~ Both of them (being alternative badasses ofc) go thrifting quite a bit together. Musa goes to the tops and denim stuff, while Darcy goes to the skirt section first because they have good long skirts there.

~ Darcy, along with drawing, also makes jewelry. So Musa would sometimes just find Darcy at her desk or something making a necklace, and Musa is just like, "Ahh babe that looks amazing!"

~ Musa also eventually learns to make some jewelry, and she mainly makes belts or things to hang from her belt loops or things like that.
