YES!! Seriously this was one of the coolest features in the older ones. The backgrounds were so lush and animated. If you look at the current backgrounds in XIV compared to any previous kof, there's only a couple stages that really have any kind of motion to them.

That kind of attention - stage ambiance, teammate interaction, it really does make the vitality of a title.

i really wish kof would bring back having your teammates sit on the sidelines because this is where the real characterization is hiding, special shoutouts to ones like this where they celebrate your victory after they’ve already been defeated

Silver and Guy were both fun in KoF XI. Really unique cancels with guy.

I think this looked nicer than Mai's current model in xiv though. Her face especially looks rather flat this time around where As her old 2-D Sprite had a bit more character. Dear or Alive's take on her is really good too!
