Today, March 2nd, a group of Ukrainian witches will be coming together to perform new moon rituals and workings for the benefit of Ukraine. We’re inviting everyone willing to lend a hand to join us and strengthen our international network.

FOCUS: protection, defusion, breaking the cycle, justice, peace

INTENT: seeking protection for the Ukrainian people and their homeland, de-escalating and defusing the threat of nuclear violence (ultimately ending their proliferation), using the current momentum to dismantle imperialist and oppressive systems that treat people and the earth like expendable resources, seeking justice for the innocent

SYMBOLS: sunflower seed (a symbol of resistance and unity), scythe (cutting down negative influences), [to be added: defusion symbol & explanation]

We’re asking our fellow witches and all friends of Ukraine to please incorporate our goals and one of our selected symbols into your personal workings to power our efforts today. No set time, no sign-up page - we simply ask that you join us to the best of your ability.

If you’d like to do something immediately practical please consider buying a protective helmet (£71 GBP / $95 USD) for a civilian volunteer defending their homeland, or donating to a charity helping vulnerable Ukrainians and their animals.
