Hello!

We are the mods of the Non-profit Jihyun Zine! We would like to thank everyone for expressing their interest for a Jihyun-centered Zine. Before we open applications, we wanted to share more info about the zine! 

The Zine Organizers: 

There are 6 mods for the Jihyun Zine.

Mika (@mikaziqiart) and Abby (@artisticnoodles) are our artist mods, Mika has experience participating in other fanzines and Abby is a co-founder for the upcoming VFA week. Mari (@imaginarydaydreams) is our writer mod. She is currently writing for the 2019 Mysme Calendar. Mina (@jihyunscompass) will take care of our social media. She is a mod for the upcoming NSFW Zine and the founder of Angst Week and VFA week.

Fran (@tomura) and Lin (@lingfaces) are our designer mods. Lin has been an artist for 10+ years and she is working towards a degree in CFA/CAS Graphic Design. Meanwhile, Fran is a self-taught GFX designer and owner of fynge!

Each mods bring a variety set of skills and experiences together to make this zine wonderful and enjoyable for all the Jihyun fans out there. You can find more info about the mods on the mods page.

Zine Info: 

The Jihyun zine will be a digital zine centered around Jihyun Kim, his life, and his relationships. The zine will be formatted as a SFW reflective journal focusing on Jihyun’s life after his route. Additional information about the zine theme can be found here.

All zine proceeds will go to ChildHelp, an American non-profit organization that advocates the prevention of child abuse and provides treatment to victims of child abuse. 

Future contributors: 

We are accepting both artists and writers for the zine! All zine contributors will be given a free copy of the zine.

We are looking for 20 artists and 5 writers, however we are willing to increase the number based on the number of applications submitted (so please help spread the word!). Accepted artists will contribute a fully coloured illustration, with the additional option to collaborate with a writer. Meanwhile, writers are to contribute a fic with at least 750 words but no more than 3.5K words.

Applications will open September 9, 2018.

Tentative Schedule:

Here is our tentative calendar for the zine. This schedule is subjected to change depending on how long the creation period lasts:

Application Period: September - October

Creation Period: November - Early February

Pre-Orders: February - Late March

Shipments: March - April
