Findings:
Our filters actually worked more effectively in the purpose of tinting the image (which was our intention) in comparison to a filter found on downloadable or expensive apps. The filters from apps change the composition of the image while our filter supplies a layer of colour tinting the photo however the artist desires. The images above speak for themselves, it is clear that there is a coat of colour while the app filters do not have the same effect. Although they may contribute to the image, they are not as predictable as the filters we have created.

The Results:
The filters make the images illuminate and also gives a new tone to the image. For example, the image containing objects placed in a tray has a supernatural, surreal tone once the filter is applied. While without the filter it looks very simple. Adding layers brings another element to the story or idea of the image. The tint allows the photographer to expand on their options for their artistry, as putting a filter over a picture is a much more natural process than editing a photo.

The Result.
Now that we have a primary idea of how the filters affect our images, we decided to use it to contribute to photography in an artistic way in order to bring out certain aspects of an image we would like to see.
