I felt like sharing this special message today with the full moon so close.

✨️ Fighting doesn't solve anything. Allow yourself to be pulled out of the moment. Stop and retreat to lick your wounds. Return with a cooler head and a better grasp on how to move forward more amicably. Raised voices cause more problems than they solve. Create your boundaries, stand by them, and retreat when you feel things getting heated and out of control. Remember this is a practice, so keep trying, keep putting the work in.

For the love of everything good and holy! Stop this BS. You can't cure all illnesses or disabilities with affirmations and meditation, and telling people that they can makes you a charlatan, at the very least.

I practice energy healing but I would never tell someone I can cure them or heal them completely. I'm not a doctor, and I'm not God.

Shit like this gives us all a bad name.

Tbh the problem with ship wars is that everyone tries to find a moral high ground to prove their ship is superior when actually shipping should be about making two characters kiss like a kid playing with barbie dolls

I find the Soulmates AU in fanfiction fascinating. As a person who believes in and has experienced soulmate bonds, with more than one person and not all romantic, I find it odd yet endearing that some people think about this so often in a literary capacity.

I think it's lovely to think about one person who was truly meant for you. And I can see how that can be a very romantic notion. It's so much more than that though.

For a really interesting Soulmates AU, I would love to see stories where we draw from real life. There is a large number of the population who do believe in soulmates, and believe they've experienced soulmate connections. And then there's another part of the population who think it's made up and don't believe in that.

I'd love to see that more realistic approach explored. It would be nice to find that one person who is made just for you (to me that is called Twin Flame but we won't go into that now) but it's more widely accepted to just find someone who is compatible. Perhaps, when you really think about it, that compatible person is actually your soulmate. That would be a great story! And incredibly realistic.

the most infuriating thing about personal growth is that even if someone else did have the answer you needed and conveyed it to you in a precise and effective matter, it won't make sense until you're ready for it. you could hear it every day of your life and it wouldn't matter a fucking bit until it finally clicks. there's very little you can do to influence when that happens, either
