Gather round royal fans...
I think we need a refresher about how royal finances work.
Money spent on royal buildings comes from the Sovereign Grant. The amount of money the Queen gets is based on the yearly revenue from the Crown Estate. She doesn’t ask the government for money as and when she needs it, and she doesn’t get to decide how much she gets. They give her a lump sum and she spends it how she likes.
So when people say a certain royal spent x amount of money on something, this is not new money. This money had already been given to the Queen to spend how she sees fit. For example, lets pretend Harry said that his house was falling apart and it needed renovations of £2million. That £2million would come from the taxpayer. But it would come from money that the Queen would have received from us no matter what. It was always going to be spent on something. I think people are under the impression that royals ask for £2million which is being taken away from schools or hospitals and given to them. It isn’t. It is money that the Queen always had in her possession, money she can choose how to spend, and money that would always have been spent one way or another. Now I am not saying whether I agree with spending quite that much money on renovations but I think people should understand how it works.

I’ve got receipts on this. (WARNING! Lengthy post!) 1) Dated October 2016, The Sun makes reference to Harry and Meghan “following each other” on IG, but not that they met through it. Instead, it says “they crossed paths” in May in Toronto at Invictus, and in July she was “seen” at Wimbledon.

2) In May of 2019, Daily Mail says it was Violet von Westenholz who introduced them in late June, “days before their blind date” – I

A couple of things to note: A) 'Meghan had been a part of the London social scene for a while and had slotted into the high society set really easily. And so when Harry told Violet he was having trouble finding someone, Violet said she might just have the perfect girl for him.’ (according to “a source”) B) ‘It was definitely a set-up,’ Meghan added. ‘It was a blind date. 'I didn’t know much about him and so the only thing I had asked her when she said she wanted to set us up was, I had one question, I said “Was he nice?”’ Harry chimed in: 'I’d never, never even heard about her until this friend said “Meghan Markle”. Au contraire, according to Elle Magazine on Oct. 27, 2017 – Prince Harry had a crush on Meghan Markle for two years before they even met after falling for her formidable character Rachel Zane in Suits. So much of a crush, that “the 33-year-old royal eventually asked their mutual friend Markus Anderson, a consultant for Soho House, to set up an introduction - and definitely not a date.” (Note that Katie Nicholl was extensively quoted, and she claimed to have first-hand knowledge of the situation.)

3) Then there’s the Vanity Fair thing “Mad About Harry”, which as we know edited the date they met from May to July 2016 – by Sam Kashner, who had to engage in some CYA after Tom Bower in his book said Kashner felt manipulated by Meghan in their interview. Vanity Fair – Unedited version (see 2nd paragraph)

4) In Town and Country (December 2022), we get the two versions (IG and blind date) mixed together –
Harry’s first glimpse of Meghan wasn’t exactly conventional. In the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, the prince revealed that he first saw Meghan on a mutual friend’s social media when she shared a photo of herself using the Snapchat dog filter. The unnamed friend (E! News has claimed Harry’s friend Violet von Westenholz is the one who introduced them, but others have speculated it was fashion designer Mischa Nonoo) ultimately set them up on a blind date in July 2016, while Meghan was in London for Wimbledon
.
5) And finally, there’s Harry’s own words in Spare, where he describes seeing a video of an exchange between “my friend Violet” and “a young woman” playing around with dog mask filters. He asks Violet to give Meghan his IG handle and she messages him
on July 1
(coincidentally Diana’s birthday!), and the rest yadda-yadda. (Part 3, Chapter 1)

Phew! Not sure if this makes things any clearer or not … there are still competing versions, but there does appear to be kernels here and there that match up
Wonderful! Thank you❤️

Doria
Also remember William and Catherine asked to host Doria for meals while the 2 were dating. Allegedly, Doria would visit London and plans were made to meet but each time they would cancel at the last minute. That's the reason they never met Doria until the wedding.

Well I am really hoping The Queen makes it that far because:
1. There will never, ever be another monarch like her and I don’t want to think of a world where she isn’t the head of the BRF 🥺
2. Because I just know (and I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way) that MM is waiting in anticipation for her to pass because she desperately wants titles for her cross eyed meal tickets. I think the longer HM is alive it messes with whatever devious and exploitative machinations Meghan has planned. I honestly hate writing this because it makes me sick, but she is a deranged, evil, greedy POS and I know how she operates. She and Harry are absolutely miserable together, so say TQ lives 4 or 5 more years it will not be easy or enjoyable for her to keep up the façade that no one is buying. Unfortunately she is a tenacious gold digger who is desperation in human form, so I do think she will stick it out as long as she can *eye roll* because she desperately wants titles for A/ L, whatever inheritance of H’s she believes she’s entitled to, and to be the DIL of a King. Plus just generally trying to sabotage W and K’s chance at a future reign because she is so unhinged and consumed with jealousy.
Maybe if Charles doesn’t give into her delusions and if she and Harry are still massively flopping/ failing at everything and she doesn’t get her way (kids titles, half in/out) it would finally be enough to get rid of her. Even then it wouldn’t be easy because she will be waaaaaaaaay past her prime and I don’t think another wealthy (or sane) man would ever touch her with a barge pole. I believe one thing M would have tonnes of trouble tolerating is sticking it out with someone she deems a loser (no $$$) even though that person is actually HER. She is a creepy, awkward, mentally ill, childish, clingy, cosplaying empty shell {with no personality of her own} and a massive leech who TAKES and brings nothing to the table, but she’s the prize in this scenario, at least in her twisted mind. Lol. What a delusional psycho.
Meghan will never level up the same way Misha Nonoo did and I bet she is extremely jealous of her now. If she is forced to stay with a daft, balding, unattractive, sulking pillock /prick with no real money and a dad bod (b/c alcohol) out of absolute desperation that will be her real karma. She bet on the wrong horse and knows it. They are both extremely lazy and untalented and he’s as thick as a plank. She is scheming, cunning, mentally unstable, a known liar / manipulator and is rather unfortunate looking despite all of her plastic surgeries and the entire world despises her as she doesn’t fool ANYBODY who isn’t a racist sugar. MM is massively fucked either way, IMO. Even if she stays (unhappily) with Harry she loses. You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear and she refuses to give up all of her futile attempts over and over and over again. She is actually the definition of insanity in human form, it’s quite alarming and pathetic. That inherently duplicitous creature honestly needs a straight jacket. Not even joking, she makes the character Alex Forrest from Fatal Attraction look sane, for real.
Well said and I agree. She won’t give up until it becomes clear she isn’t going to be the first female President (and a woc one🙄🙄🙄) or is PC’s fave and Will and Kate publicly apoligize. For what? Idk
She’s a monster. She just wants attention and to hear herself save the world. I hate them myself.
Thank you 👍

Meghan Markle’s Friends Are So Good at Saying Nothing
Meghan Markle’s Friends Are So Good at Saying Nothing
Read their “candid” conversations about the duchess and you’ll gain approximately no insight into Meghan’s life and personality. And that’s the point.
If your sanity can stand it, come on this journey of highly-orchestrated quote coups. You won’t learn anything about one of the world’s most talked-about women, but you will feel bad that your friends aren’t as nice as hers.

I’m going to post about the ©️SussexRoyal IG account! It is going to have a few parts and screenshots attached, if you are interested plz reblog once I’m done, it would be nice to keep this all together ✌🏻 Thank You 🙏🏻
Okay, let’s start with what a copyright is:

I’ve been curious as to why the Sussex Curcus IG handle uses a ©️ in some of their posts:

And thought to myself, why do that? And would a ©️ earn them money?

The answer is, Yes.
So of course the next step is to look up their ©️, and here’s what I found!

For reference, when I look up this name I couldn’t find any other variations. The ©️ was applied for on 4/4/19, and coincidentally their IG page never used the ©️ until after that.

Above is what the “UK” prefix means.

And this is who owns the ©️. Who the heck is that?
I also looked to see if this John Burnett has other copyrights, I get nothing else.

Tidbits on Sussex Royal Foundation
I wish I could take credit for the research, but alas, I cannot. If you have additional info on how this foundation will work, I will gladly add to this. 😁
I think Luminary Bakery paid for her appearance. And we've heard she was paid for some in S. Africa as well. Tax man won't like being stiffed.
........💰💰💰💰......
After the TP tweet last night I looked a bit into the Sussex Royal Foundation documents.
The Foundation is created as a company limited by guarantee and registered. You can find all documents on the website of the Companies House. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/12077679
I was reading and comparing the documents to other royal foundations. Sussex Royal is a foundation created to cash out as you can clearly see in the points 6.2.(a) and (b). Sussex Royal allows payments of benefits for service contracts or in other words Pay for Play. Sussex Royal isn't a charity. It is her way to get paid for appearances. It will be interesting to see the first Annual Account as all payments to trustees including expenses must be disclosed in the Annual Accounts.
Now to the point that I as a lawyer see as the most important: taxes. Although charities exempt from income tax and “donations” like payments for services qualify for tax relief, any payment of benefits is taxable income and has to be declared, in case of an American to the IRS. It’s a common error that people think when they charge for services using a foundation they don’t need to pay taxes when the foundation pays them for their services. These payments are taxable income. The foundation is exempt from income tax, not the individual receiving payments from the foundation.

Hereditary Monarchy
Hereditary monarchy is a form of government and succession of power in which the throne passes from one member of a royal family to another member of the same family.

The Heir to the British throne has traditionally, and mostly been a male with the exceptions of Queens Mary I, Elizabeth I, Anne and Elizabeth II, and subsequently titled “The Prince of Wales” since its introduction after the conquest of Wales by King Edward I in 1301. Until the Succession to the Crown Act of 2013 was passed by Parliament, the eldest male issue would become next in line to the throne, skipping over female issue if born first. The Succession to the Crown Act 2013 is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It altered the laws of succession to the British throne in accordance with the 2011 Perth Agreement. The act replaced male-preference primogeniture with absolute primogeniture for those born in the line of succession after 28 October 2011, which meant the eldest child regardless of gender would precede his or her siblings.

Prince Charles marks 50 years since his investiture as Prince of Wales

Prince Charles is celebrating the 50th anniversary of his investiture as the Prince of Wales. Heir to the throne Prince Charles, the longest-serving holder of the title in history, was created the Prince of Wales by the Queen when he was just nine years old on July 26 1958.
He was formally invested with the title by his mother 11 years later on July 1, 1969 at Caernarfon Castle in north Wales at the age of 20.

The investiture of the Prince of Wales is the ceremony marking formal acknowledgement of a newly-created Prince of Wales. During the investiture ceremony, the Prince is presented and invested with the insignia of his rank and dignity, similar to a coronation. An investiture is purely ceremonial, as the title is created via letters patent.
The tradition of investing the heir apparent of the English, and subsequently the British, Monarch with the title of “Prince of Wales” began in 1301, when King Edward I of England, having completed the conquest of Wales, gave the title to his heir apparent, Prince Edward (later King Edward II of England).
